I like them big, do you?

Chapter 188 - She's Back

Chapter 188: She's back

King Julian puked a mouthful of blood, his eyes turning around to stare into Zamram's hues. He saw resentment toward him in those, and authentic disgust bloomed further.

His son couldn't accept his father's doings, even if it was for their family's well-being. For his mother's sake, Zamram schemed with the Crimson Dragon!

Zamram glared with genuine hatred, then parted his lips, "I have managed to strike a deal with the Crimson Dragon. He will pass Prince Drwin to use and leave mother behind... We will join the Bom Family and become their vassals."

King Julian's eyes flashed with disappointment, and if he could speak, he would've called his son foolish.

After light dimmed within his eyes and he died a betraying death, King Julian's body dropped lifelessly.

Zamram turned his eyes toward Crimson Dragon.

Reylin stood with his chin high.

"Could you bring Prince Drwin here?" Zamram politely asked.

Not giving him an answer, Reylin flicked his fingers and called out Prince Drwin. That man came through the same method, which was teleport made through combined knowledge from all events the players have gone through, including this one.

Prince Drwin came out of the portal, locating Zamram instantly.

They exchanged tacit understanding through eye contact.

Zamram smiled widely, "Now, let me guide you to the soul room, Crimson Dragon. I am a man who honors promises and deals."

Reylin once again didn't reply through words. His smile was a reply.

He jumped off the dragon, then followed Zamram to the castle. However, that was when a change happened.

Before Reylin entered the castle, all brothers and sisters from King Julian's family appeared. One would think they were out for their own missions, but that had been the belief Zamram covertly implanted in his father.

They had been secretly waiting for Crimson Dragon to enter their reach.

Zamram chuckled, "Go ahead. That's when you will be able to meet the players' souls. But, that is also the place where you will become a soul, Crimson Dragon."

"Well, I never expected this deal to go this smoothly," Reylin chuckled. His body turned into pure flames that disappeared shortly after.

That was a flame clone all this time.

Zamram's eyes expanded in a stupor, then he turned around to the Crimson Dragon. Atop it, Reylin stood with a sneer, his hands holding a small fish tank for the golden fish.

The moment the golden light flashed within the fish tank, the Crimson Dragon Army emerged, and all players cluttered the whole dimension!

Reylin's Crimson Dragon extended its claws for Zamram's mother, that was still wailing in pain.

"Don't you dare, Crimson Dragon!" Zamram screamed.

"Is there something I don't dare? Let me take care of you, mother, Zamram," Reylin sneered, his Crimson Dragon taking away the woman.

Prince Drwin's body also trembled, becoming nothing but an illusion.

Seeing how all things started to fall, Zamram used his last cand, "I still can detonate all souls! If you dare to take a step further-"

His words didn't ring well in Reylin's ears.

"You threaten me?" Reylin asked, his heart palpitating with genuine wrath.

His eyes glazed with flames and his Crimson Reptile eyes dilated to the point where blood started oozing out of his eye sockets.

Zamram and his siblings trembled out of fear.

Their systems screamed too.

[You have been exposed to the Crimson Dragon's Wrath.]

[Your mana has been stopped.]

[You tremble no end.]

[Your system has been shut down.]

"KILL THEM ALL!" Reylin howled, his ire permeating the dimension and fueling his people!

Flames exploded the most as the Scarlet Flake Kingdom came in hot!

Amidst those explosions that just paled to the Crown Festival, Reylin strutted toward Zamram, who had been trembling like a scared cat.

He punched his solar plexus, then lifted him by the collar, "I am going to use your knowledge about systems later on. Only that saves your dirty ass," Reylin whispered in a tone laced with a sharp voice, then threw Zamram to his prison in the Golden Fish's body.

He then strutted toward the enormous hall with souls!

Many souls lingered in the darkroom like stars. No one would recognize who was who, but that mattered not for Reylin.

He raised his hand and implanted his own system in every soul. That alone was enough as the souls started returning to their bodies! Seeing this, Reylin flashed a relieved smile, then turned around and left the room.

He stared at the battles going on, and his heart swelled as he saw his people and beloved winning on every front.

"We take over this dimension... Our next goal... The Ascended," Reylin whispered.

-

[Earth]

Countless players opened their eyes.

They didn't know what was going on, but a few, such as Maya, were well aware that they had been saved by someone!

She couldn't move her body yet, but her mother embraced her immediately after vision returned to her eyes!

Reylin had told Maya's parents about her return, confident in his victory.

And win, he did!

"Maya! Maya!" Tears flowed down Maya's mother's cheeks as she stroked and hugged her daughter.

Behind them, Mr. Father was trembling from an emotional outburst.

Maya could only stare at her mother.

As much as she wanted to talk, it was currently impossible. But happiness clearly bloomed within her eyes, and she tried to reciprocate the hug as well.

Her eyes rippled with much different emotion when a familiar figure entered the room. Her body heated on its own, and she couldn't help but take her eyes off her mother to look at this man.

Reylin smiled at her from afar.

He looked so much different than many questions popped into Maya's mind.

He smiled at her, then waved. At last, Reylin decided to not break this critical and lovely moment. He turned around and left the room, heading back to his brother's office.

Now that he confirmed Maya was back, Reylin's heart subsided, and he happily drank coffee together with his bro.
