I Hate You, Devil!

Chapter 106 Cheers!

Chapter 106 Cheers!

Zaki was grinning mischievously as he waited for Yu Chen to come into his arms. However, to his dismay, the man he was waiting for didn't even move an inch.

His arms were still opened wide as he sighed. "Hey, don't embarrass your older brother and just come over, damn it." he hissed but Yu Chen remained unfazed. He even looked like he hadn't heard anything at all.

Zaki's vein started to pop as he narrowed his eyes. And suddenly, without putting down his hands, Zaki turned towards the two ladies.

"Future little sis-in-law, can I have a hug too?" Zaki said with a smile, causing Luo Xiaolei and Hinari's heads to immediately snap to him.

And then, before the ladies could even say a thing, Zaki moved towards Luo Xiaolei and was about to hug her when…

Out of the blue, Yu Chen swiftly stepped in between them, facing Zaki. His brows were creased hard and the air around him was ice cold as he spoke. "Big bro, here's your hug." He said in an amazingly displeased voice and then he hugged him.

Fufufu… I finally found a way to tease you little devil! Xiao Leilei, I've been waiting for your arrival!!

Zaki was still enjoying the taste of his victory, grinning widely as he patted Yu Chen's shoulder, when Yu Chen abruptly pulled away.

"Haha, hey, can't you even make your hug last for at least five seconds? You can't call it a hug if it's not more than five seconds you know?" Zaki complained, totally ignoring Yu Chen's darkened face while Luo Xiaolei simply blinked as she looked at them.

Of course, Hinari knew what her husband was after so she simply raised a brow as Zaki grinned at her. Hinari immediately realized that Yu Chen was obviously another jealous type and it made her giggled silently.

"Mr. Yu, I will borrow your sweetheart for a while." Hinari said while holding Luo Xiaolei's hand and as expected, Yu Chen was reluctant. "We're just going to have some girls talk so you two can't follow us." She added and when Yu Chen remained silent, Luo Xiaolei stepped towards him and then, all of a sudden, she hugged him.

"I'll be back later," she whispered as she embraced him before she let go and smiled at him.

Without any hesitation, Yu Chen immediately nodded, so the two ladies finally left.

"Sigh… just one hug and you gave in? You're so hopeless Chen. You should have asked for a kiss at least!" Zaki was shaking his head while Yu Chen simply watched Luo Xiaolei's disappearing silhouette with a peculiar look in his eyes.

In a spacious veranda overlooking the majestic view of the infamous Swan lake, three gorgeous ladies were sitting leisurely in a couch. There were bottles of alcohol on the table before them and they looked like they were enjoying their time together.

"Haha, it's okay Xiaolei, even I had only one best friend throughout my life. You really don't need numbers of friends; one authentic best friend is all you need. Of course, if you can find more than one then you're very lucky but even if it's only one, to me, that's more than enough." Hinari said, smiling at her while Davi nodded her agreement.

"But while you still don't have a female best friend, you could have a male best friend first."

"You have a male best friend?"

"Yep, Davi and I have our own male BFFs too. Our husbands."

"Wow, that's cool."

"Definitely cool. The beauty of having a best friend is that you can tell her everything, your secrets, your feelings, even the ugly thoughts you could never tell to anyone else. Imagine, if your husband is your best friend, you can tell him every little thing… and what would happen if there were no secrets between you? I strongly believe that if a couple don't hide things from each other, then their relationship will last forever."

Hinari just finished signing the books that Luo Xiaolei brought and they both talk about her books for a long while. So now that the conversation was slowly getting personal, Hinari didn't waste a moment trying to understand if Luo Xiaolei really was just forced and had no feelings for Yu Chen at all.

"And don't you think Yu Chen could be a good best friend too?" Hinari asked and Luo Xiaolei was silent for a while before a smile carved on her lips.

"Hmm… now that you mentioned it. Actually, I think Yu Chen would be more than a god best friend."

"Really? How could you say so?"

"Because he's too honest. I think, he doesn't even know how to lie properly. And he's damn adorable. But if he would become my best friend, haha… I can imagine myself constantly being attacked."

"Attacked?"

"That guy is too much for my heart. I don't know why but every little thing he does makes my heart flutter to the point that I even sometimes forget to breathe. Haha… it's kind of ridiculous but… I don't know."

Hinari pressed her lips and her eyes narrowed in amusement and pleasure upon hearing her answer. Luo Xiaolei was a bit drunk now so she found this moment the best way to dig more, even though, she had already found the answer she was looking for.

"So you're saying what you feel towards him was so new to you?"

"Hmm… yes, I guess. I don't think someone else has made me feel the way that he does. Also Yu Chen is… he's so good to me. I want to ask him why but…"

"But?"

"Uhm… can I go to the bathroom first?"

"Ohh… sure, sure…" Hinari and Luo Xiaolei then went to the bathroom together while Davi went and checked her sleeping son in the room.

When the three were all back, they continued their girls talk. They laughed altogether like they were buddies who hadn't met for a long while.

"Ah, Davi is always busy so we haven't had a chance to drink together for months now. That's why we're glad that you are here with us Leilei."

"Me too… I'm so thankful that I met both of you. I… I'm sorry, I think I got drunk so easily. Maybe because I haven't had any alcohol for four years."

"Eh? Four years?!"

"Haha… I know it's shocking… ah, I want to drink more. Even though, everything is already spinning."

"Me too. I've been so focused on my work lately."

"Easy Davi, big brother-in-law will cry if you get an awful hangover tomorrow!"

"Haha, no worries."

At that moment, the three men had stepped on the veranda and when they saw their wives, all happily drunk together, the three of them were speechless.

They quietly walked towards them and sat on the sofa across the three ladies, each one facing their own woman.

"Oh, daddy panda, you're here. Are we going home now?" Luo Xiaolei asked as soon as she recognized Yu Chen sitting across her. "Wait a little bit more, okay?"

Of course, what Luo Xiaolei called him made Zaki burst into laughter. "Pfft!! Daddy panda?"

"Darling, you're…" Sei started but he didn't continue his statement and just watched his wife gulp down the glass of alcohol in her hand.

"Hinari-sensei, your husband seems like he wants to drink too." Luo Xiaolei said but Hinari waved her hand.

"No, my hubby can't drink. Alcohol is absolutely a NO for him 'coz of hi health. Big brother-in-law is also allergic to alcohol." Hinari explained when Davi also butted in.

"Xiaolei, your man is also banned from drinking alcohol." Davi added and then the three simultaneously raised their glasses.

Hinari: "So let's drink our hubby's share. Cheers!!"

Davi: "Cheers!"

Luo Xiaolei: "Cheers!"

Sei, Zaki and Yu Chen: ". . ."
