Chapter 830: Fight for Control

Chapter 830: Fight for Control

After transforming into the Dragon of Systems, Stencil took flight, becoming a stream of Mental Energy as she made a few revolutions around the world.

Suddenly, thousands of her collective consciousness filled up her mind as they rapidly absorbed the sheer volume of information flowing into her, sourced from the world. Even though the collective consciousness warred with each other, they were of the mind to prevent the actual Stencil from taking control.

“Whatever you’re doing…stop!” Stencil’s shout resounded through the mind space.

The mind space was a vast world of void, with a transparent platform on which bizarrely shaped creatures rushed past, forming a pile as they all wished to reach the peak.

At the peak was a tiny sphere, one that seemed to be the control center of Stencil’s body. At the moment, there was a large entity with swords stabbed throughout its body. It was holding the sphere, controlling Stencil’s body.

Moreover, unlike the other collective consciousness, this sword-stabbed consciousness was special in the sense that part of the control over the sphere could be transferred to the collective consciousness holding the hilt of its sword.

This was how hundreds of collective consciousness manned Stencil—by grabbing hold of a hilt each.

Stencil was in the middle of the pile, swimming her way up as she waded through the consciousness, sensing her consciousness gradually thinning out in response, ‘No, I will fade away if this keeps up.’

“Move!” She grunted before leaping to the top, kicking a collective consciousness aside to grab a hilt herself, rapidly connecting to the senses of her body as she observed the Dreamland of the Secret Society member in her captive, ‘Dad indeed captured enough Coordinates!’

“Uryaaa!” She bellowed as her consciousness thinned rapidly, unleashing enough strength to lift the sword-stabbed consciousness and push it to the side, grabbing hold of the sphere as immediately, she gained control of her body.

“You won’t succeed!” The sword-stabbed consciousness bellowed as it grabbed her and began to pry the sphere out of her hands. Currently, it was reinforced by hundreds of collective consciousness and was many times stronger than Stencil, making it hard for her to resist.

Stencil knew that she had less than a second before she would be flung away, hurriedly infiltrating the Dreamland of the member as she absorbed all the Coordinates placed there.

Boom!

Stencil was smacked away from the pile. She crashed into the transparent boundary, gasping for a moment before noticing her body turn rapidly solid from absorbing all the Coordinates.

“Stop her!” The surrounding collective consciousness shouted before leaping onto her in an effort to weaken her.

“Shit!” Stencil was overwhelmed and couldn’t break free, watching the size of the pile continue to grow higher and higher, moving beyond her reach. With too many collective consciousnesses weighing her down, she couldn’t break free.

‘I have to bide for time.’ Thinking as such, Stencil pushed away the collective consciousness for a moment before erecting a solid boundary around her, one that prevented the collective consciousness from touching her.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The collective consciousness attacked the sturdy barrier, unable to deal any damage. But, Stencil wasn’t happy with the result, noticing that she was gradually losing power, ‘I might last a long time if I huddle here. But the moment I take action, the power I gained from the Coordinates would be expended in a matter of seconds.’

If that happens, she would eventually be destroyed by the collective consciousness, especially since she didn’t have the means to solve her issue. ‘Dad will find a solution. I should just focus on buying enough time for that.’

This was why she focused on maintaining herself in this sea of collective consciousness.

“Heh, she won’t be surfacing for a long while,” In the outside world, Stencil smirked as the sword-stabbed collective consciousness had gained control of the body.

The hundreds of collective consciousness supporting it processed the information influx as Stencil rapidly understood the power structure of the world, following which she took out a choker and placed it around the sphere—that the body of the Secret Society member had been transformed into.

Swoosh!

With a flick of her finger, the choker split from one to two, from two to four, and four to eight. Within a couple of seconds, there were enough rings to fully encompass the sphere from top to bottom.

Immediately after, lightning sparked through it as the mind of the member was completely destroyed.

Using her power as the Dragon of Systems, Stencil began to slightly alter the power structure of the Dreamland, rearranging the Mental Fragments according to her desire before cutting off parts of her body that she fed into it.

And through the choker, she unleashed the Invoker Spirit’s power of Spirit Morph on the shed body parts, turning them into Mental Fragments that she arranged in the Dreamland.

Following that, she extracted the Invoked Spirit and refined it into a gauntlet that she wore on her right before her eyes turned scaly, “This world will become my base.”

“It will have one of the strongest, but secluded foundations!”

Upon her words, the rings around the sphere began to revolve before expanding in size rapidly before they now encompassed the entire world, resulting in a thunderous sound as they crashed into each other to become a perfect sphere.

The rings revolved around the world, not even sporting any gap as they sparked with faint lightning, bringing the entire world under her control.

Originally, her Neural Impulse Actuator—the choker—was only capable of controlling living entities. But after she became the Dragon of Systems, her power was upgraded, from Grade 2 level to Grade 3 level, now allowing her to control the world.

And instantly, the first thing she did was to take the existing blanket of the Astral Network and layer it under the rings formed by her choker, creating a network of her own as the Dreamland seeped into the ground, gradually fusing into the essence of the world.

Instantly, the foundation of the world expanded by a million times, for the Dreamland of this member was created using Mental Fragments sourced from the Apocalypse System’s Core Skill Manifestation, the Regression System’s Core Skill Manifestation, Zaira’s blood and body parts, the majority of Immortal’s body parts, and finally, Magister’s Genre Representation.

This foundation fused into the world and instantly, the first effect it unleashed was to cut off any external influx of power, cutting off what represented Truck-Kun.

At the battlefield, even Apocalypse System’s Core Skill Manifestation reached a level that almost blocked the power influx of the Genre Representatives. This was why weak Genre Representatives like Martial escaped at the very beginning.

Though, as Magister and Mascot were at a higher level, they still maintained their power. But even they became weaker towards the climax.

And hence, the current foundation Stencil laid fully cut off Truck-Kun’s power influx, rendering him helpless.
