I Hate Systems

Chapter 619: System Restricted

Chapter 619: System Restricted

‘System! Help me!’

[Detecting danger to Host. Exercising evasive maneuverer!]

[Host, this might get dangerous]

Boom!

Immediately after, mana burst out of Tehela’s body, destroying the totem embedded in her forehead as suddenly, a mysterious Pseudo-Relic emerged from her body, resulting in a typhoon that destroyed the entire region, sweeping away the Shaman King.

“Gobugobumon! I’ll kill you!” Tehela bellowed in rage, watching her body heal rapidly as she punched forth, unleashing a tornado that drilled through the Goblins like they were made of paper, turning the swirling winds crimson with their blood.

“You damn!” The Shaman King finally lost his cool, watching Tehela overcoming his totems mysteriously, despite the fact that his totems were even able to hinder a Titan Saint.

But immediately after, he broke into a smile, closing his eyes before he broke off the totem growing on his back, opening his mouth wide to swallow it.

Crack!

Crunching sounds emanated from his mouth as the totem’s power flowed into his body, causing his mana to erupt as he clasped his hands, shouting as he riled up all his power, “I’ll seal you first!”

“Ruin of Amagoth!” Following his words, mysterious totems sprung out of the ground around Tehela, emanating a formless energy that drilled into her body using mystical chains, actually latching onto the System within her too, causing it to lose power in a matter of seconds.

[Host! He’s dangerous! He has methods to restrict even me! This will hurt, but I’ll bring us out of here!]

‘Do it!’ Tehela thought, calming down as she understood why the Titan Kingdom was willing to come to a compromise with the Shaman King, ‘Even as a mere Pseudo-Saint, he’s overpowered. It’s not an exaggeration to say that at least two Saints would need to fight him for a chance of defeating him. but they dare not attempt that in fear of the crisis allowing him to gain the enlightenment necessary to become a Saint.’

As the Shaman King was naturally protected by his profession, the moment he becomes a Saint, he would be unrivalled. And if the records kept by the Titans served any basis, Shaman Kings at the level of a Saint could even face three or more Guardian Saints of various Kingdoms.

They were just that overpowered.

But unfortunately, no matter how strong they become, unlike the other races whose lifespan increased as their strength grew, a Shaman King wouldn’t live past a century.

So, for the long-lived races, waiting it out was the best option. Once the Shaman King dies, the Goblin Race would become nothing once again.

‘Dammit!’ Tehela was indignant as her System used the last of its power to mysteriously activate spatial magic of Human Mages.

“You’ll never escape!” Gobugobumon, the Shaman King shouted upon sensing the Space Magic, accelerating his powers as a gigantic mausoleum covered Tehela, trapping her within.

But thankfully, it hadn’t faced a System before. So, even though it had the necessary means to constrict one, it wasn’t able to target properly, allowing Tehela’s System to finish its activation, causing her to vanish from the location.

Still, the Shaman King was partially successful, watching as the mausoleum—Ruin of Amagoth—too vanished with her.

Ruin of Amagoth was a powerful sealing totem that was able to even seal Saints for all eternity. And it wasn’t just that. The Ruin of Amagoth would constantly sap away the strength of the sealed entity to create Magic Beasts that guarded the mausoleum against foreign forces, keeping it secure.

Once trapped, their strength would continue to be sapped away, making escape impossible.

The Shaman King closed his eyes, sighing as he managed to sense the location where the Ruin of Amagoth had teleported towards, “At least thirty thousand kilometres away.”

He massaged his forehead, feeling a headache, for they were separated by at least four kingdoms. Moreover, it had appeared in a region that bordered a Demon Kingdom. “This is somewhat troublesome.”

“But no matter, I’ll reclaim you.”

The Shaman King then worked on helping the survivors of the region, unconcerned about the death toll. Goblins weren’t concerned about the well-being of each other in the first place. After all, they could casually replace the lost numbers in a matter of months because of the short time required from birth to maturity—spanning less than three months.

So, even while helping them, his focus was entirely on the Ruin of Amagoth, frowning as he already detected an intruder.

“Strange, I didn’t notice this being here yesterday.” A Demon muttered, looking around as he was unable to notice any traces of magic in his surroundings, wondering how the mausoleum before him had formed.

But, as a Pseudo-Saint, he had the confidence in exploring the mausoleum as he extended his left arm, revealing the palm as a mysterious magic circle formed on it. The index finger on his right approached the magic circle as its tip shone with a resplendent hue, radiating a suffocating authority as the Demon muttered, “All attacks within a metre of me are nullified!”

Boom!

A fluctuation emanated from the magic circle as a mysterious power condensed around him, erecting a domain a metre in radius around him.

This was the power of the Principal Arbiter, one that installed laws anywhere they pleased.

Though, he had restricted the effect of his power to only a metre around him because the potency of the ability was greatest in this form.

If the range of its effect expanded, it would lose its potency, only being able to affect those at the Grandmaster Realm or even below.

But with the current range, it was even able to affect the attacks from fellow Pseudo-Saints. Now that he had prepared defensively, the Demon approached the entrance to the mausoleum, staring at the sealed doors as he erected another magic circle, “This door seal will be nullified!”

The magic circle disappeared as its effect slammed into the door before vanishing in response, startling the Demon, “The seal is stronger than my power?”

“I see, interesting.” He grinned, feeling that he might chance across something interesting.
