I Hate Systems

Chapter 547: Immortal’s True Identity

Chapter 547: Immortal’s True Identity

Currently, the trio were at the top of a massive Fortress. Rhizen had arrived here to relax for a few minutes when they appeared.

“What have you planned?” Compass Carburettor asked.

“I’ve already developed the necessary energy,” Rhizen said, revealing his palm atop which starlight energy circulated. Immediately after, the Apocalypse Pearl fused into it, turning it somewhat murky white when Origin Essence also fused into it, turning it deep orange.

Following that, a mysterious power from the domain of time fused into it, turning it yellow as finally, a power to seal Systems fused into it, turning it pale yellow.

Rhizen had three fusion materials that he had fused with. The first of them was the Mental Energy sphere that he obtained from Compass Carburettor. This attribute allowed him to wield Mental Energy and take on a Mental Energy form.

The second fusion material was the Token of the Apocalypse World, the core of its being, the proof of ownership of the Coincidental Luck System. And it was through this token that the Coincidental Luck System both ruled and controlled the Apocalypse World.

Through this, Rhizen was able to draw upon the Apocalypse Pearl’s power and also the power of time ingrained in this world.

And finally, there was the Restriction Order, his third fusion material. Through this, he obtained a power that rendered System Skills useless. And when killed, the concept forming them would also be destroyed while their Coordinates would be absorbed by the Restriction Order to turn into fuel.

This was the power of the first Main Character.

And Rhizen had fused all these energies, creating a brand-new energy, “I call this Nacre. It’s capable of killing Systems.”

“How did you…fuse all these energies actually?” Compass Carburettor frowned, “It doesn’t seem possible.”

“I helped him.” Suddenly, an aged but gracious voice resounded as a youth gently landed before them.

“You are…?” Compass Carburettor frowned, gazing at the youth as suddenly, four voices resounded from him, “You’re not a living entity, are you?”

The youth’s eyes widened in shock before curling up into a smile, “As expected of the Main Character. To think you could see through me in an instant.”

Even though he was stating in surprise, the youth was feeling bouts of shock internally upon sensing the various changes in Compass Carburettor, some of which even he was able to perceive, ‘Just what happened that he experienced such a bizarre but explosive growth?’

He then nodded, “You can address me as Immortal. I’m what you can call a concept that represents all cultivation worlds.”

“So, you’re not a cultivator that surpassed their original world and then became the ruler of all similar worlds?” Compass Carburettor asked.

“No, you can consider me a collective consciousness of all the cultivation worlds combined,” Immortal said, “I am the authority on all these worlds.”

“I see,” Compass Carburettor nodded, “So, this is why I’m feeling that your strength is…decreasing as we speak?”

“So, you can sense that too.” Immortal sighed, “As the Systems invade the cultivation worlds more and more and gain control over them, I weaken in response. And on the day they control all cultivation worlds is when I vanish from existence. If I had the ability to actually kill them, such a thing wouldn’t have happened.”

“After all, in the past, I alone could take on all three of their Grade 4 Systems.” He sighed.

“So, this is where Nacre comes in.” Compass Carburettor nodded, gazing at Rhizen, “So, you helped Rhizen complete it. And since the core of this power is the Human Divine Martial Spirit of the cultivation world, you too would gain that power.”

“Yes,” Immortal nodded, “But, it will only be a small part of my power. Despite that, I’ll be able to actually harm Systems from now on. So, it’s a win-win situation.”

Honestly, if it was Rhizen alone that was working on this project, it might take him multiple loops before he figured out the way to successfully achieve it.

But thanks to Immortal’s help, he completed the creation of Nacre in the first loop itself.

“Though, Nacre is just the energy. And at the moment, only I can wield it.” Rhizen said, “The goal is to alter this world’s power system so that everyone from the next loop will wield Nacre instead of the Apocalypse Pearl.”

“Then, first thing’s first.” Compass Carburettor said, “Let me destroy the Systems dwelling in the minds of everyone in this world.”

Saying so, his figure flickered as multiple ethereal versions of himself spread around rapidly before vanishing in response.

Immortal stared at the scene in anticipation as multiple past versions of the current Compass Carburettor spread around the world, phasing into the minds of the surrounding people one after another as bullets were shot.

The bullets transformed into serpentine dragons that gobbled up the Systems before leaving the minds of the people. And as the power in them was yet to be expended, the serpentine dragons continued to travel, passing through the minds of the people one after another.

“Is it…this easy?” Even though he had seen a lot of fights between Compass Carburettor and the Systems, he too was flabbergasted, observing the casual way in which Compass Carburettor was destroying all traces of the Systems.

“Yeah, this is nothing.” Compass Carburettor nodded, experiencing the various powers in him. Currently, he was using his and Hazen’s power. Just that alone was enough to exhibit such a phenomenon.

He was only using the powers that he was already experienced with though. But in truth, even he himself had new powers, not to mention the rest. And they had to experiment with them all first before understanding the various know-how of their usage.

Within a few days, all traces of the Systems in the minds of everyone in the world was eradicated. Honestly, the majority of it was situated in the Fortress they were at the roof off.

After all, the various people that had once been System Hosts were currently in the fort.

After completing the task, Compass Carburettor accompanied Rhizen, walking down the flight of stairs before reaching a certain room.

“Everyone’s here…” Rhizen said, opening the door when suddenly, Compass Carburettor grunted, collapsing to the ground while clutching his head. And immediately after, Hazen exited him in fury, barging into the room as he pounced upon the ex-System Hosts seated inside.
