Chapter 254 - The Invisible Concept

Kyoya already returned to the Grooma Kingdom.

It was an ascended kingdom, the unique floor where he felt particularly safe. It was also the place where a lot of the strongest people gathered, so he also wanted to have a place for himself here.

Though this particular wish would require a lot of time and no one knew what exactly would happen in the meantime.

Right now, Kyoya knew that the upside down castle was one of the things that worried many people. The unknown movements of other kingdoms caused the Grooma Kingdom's nobles to be especially hasty.

They wanted to find many ways to smoothly overcome the obstacles within this unique place without anyone else getting the benefits out of it, so the pressure from others was immense.

However, Kyoya was also pressured with his own problem.

[If you manage to become Jack Disciple before the 20th floor, you will be able to overthrow the adventurers stronger than you by five floors.]

This particular breakthrough was causing Kyoya to feel like he has to carefully take his time with his strength. Kyoya gathered a lot of achievements and probably could challenge more floors, but he was worried as no signs of this breakthrough appeared in his life.

He scratched his hair while contemplating about it…

"Should I just go and bully blacksmiths with Akaro?"

It wasn't like Kyoya planned to go on another adventure nor he expected the breakthrough to appear randomly in his life. If he needed something important for it, then he believed he would stumble on it by continuing stepping on his path.

Thinking too much wasn't so good on the husband's mind, so he just stood up and left the house. It was pretty silent inside as Rosa and Xaya went to buy some stuff for the dinner. Noe accompanied them two, but she was here in case the two would cause too much trouble.

Kyoya believed that Xaya could tell what happened between him and Rosa, so he was more careful. He asked Noe for help gently, and completely oblivious Noe just agreed. She also liked to spend time with Xaya now that they were closer.

Thus, the familiar sounds could be heard outside.

Holding her spear tightly, Xiaoxiao was trying to soak it in her invisible flames while Akaro just enjoyed the sunbath. She sometimes peeked at Xiaoxiao and tried to use her influence to help her, but the guardian was limited heavily here.

Nonetheless, the progress was still sufficient and Xiaoxiao's expression often changed between serious to her sweet one filled with joy.

Now, she was all serious mode and her spear rarely moved. But once it moved close to the grass, one could see an invisible flame burning it up.

"Akaro, let's just go bully some blacksmith. I want my equipment enhanced."

"Why does it sound like you got nothing better to do?"

"My Goddess…"

"We can go soon."

Akaro just shifted her eyes as she knew she hit the truth. Her body went up a little as Kyoya grabbed her gently, then put her cat body on his lap. His hands then stroked her affectionately to which Akaro didn't say anything, but she purred.

The two of them looked over Xiaoxiao until the orange-haired lady joined the meeting.

"Good work."

"Thanks."

Once Xiaoxiao faced Kyoya, she reached out for the bottle passed by him. Then, her eyes noticed Kyoya patting his lap, so Xiaoxiao immediately went to sit on him. The cat once again flew up and landed on the lady this time.

Xiaoxiao's head then laid itself on the husband's shoulder and the lady began to say what she had in mind for a while.

"Invisible Fire Nuke."

"Uhh… That sounds strong."

"It's because of my ability, Eternal Call! Imagine if I could somehow spread the invisible flame, then gather it all and boink!"

"Boink… Just say 'Boom' next time…"

"But it would be so strong…"

Xiaoxiao didn't care about the name nor the description she just said out loud. She imagined the invisible flames exploding on her enemy and then its might burn the bad guy alive! But the worst thing was that she could only use it on her spear and spreading it outside was just impossible.

As Xiaoxiao got a little too greedy for the strength, Kyoya could only accompany and sometimes share his idea. This time, he did the former with his hand slowly fixing her sweaty hair.

A lot of training had been done!

"An invisible thing is hard to learn… And this is the direct disciple concept… Hmm… If I could train something similar, then I would share my comprehension. Let's see... "

Kyoya wanted to cheer Xiaoxiao and she also knew that he wasn't serious right now. Not like he would be able to just get concepts out of nowhere and the one that would be similar to her invisible flames.

However, Kyoya reached out for the sky and his fingers began to fold and unfold as if he was trying to catch something.

His tries made Xiaoxiao smile and she just closed her eyes to rest a little better on him.

In the meantime, Kyoya surprisingly went wide… He just looked at his hand with a complex expression, then repeated the process…

Xiaoxiao was completely oblivious that her future husband found something out just like that, but it was the future god here in the making!

"Xiaoxiao, let's go to our room. I will help you relax here."

"Okay… What about Akaro?"

"Leave me alone."

"Yes. Call me if you need anything."

Xiaoxiao gave the last pat, then followed Kyoya to the room. She didn't know that the husband found some clue to his next step and that the blacksmith bullying was postponed. She just laid herself on the bed and then the husband pounced at her. He rained all the kisses on her body, then busily kept himself around her nether region licking her sweetest juices.

"So… nice… Ahh…"

It was really relaxing as the husband slowly did his job.

-

In one of the noble households, the father and son duo talked rather closely. They were never this close and even the common guard would be able to tell that the situation was serious.

The recent rumors would be all confirmed by the duo's appearances.

Rosa's older brother and her father were never this close, but the upside down castle with many energies forced them to be this close.

They were forced to work together and it went the same for all other noble households. No one thought about their own profit, but about the whole ascended kingdom's benefit.

"This belief is cruel and easily corrupting… It's what The Lord would call the divine demon."

The father uttered, his eyes serious. He looked at the blue tablet that was written with the language of the divine demon. Using his belief and contributions of the whole noble household, Rosa's father managed to get enough means to read one third of the tablet's content.

"These are the enemies of our Lord. Their goal is surely to overthrow our Lord. His belief will help us."

Thanks to this tablet, the noble family head got closer to his Lord's concept and could do better in the upside down castle. Nonetheless, there was more to this tablet and the court had yet to be conquered.

He didn't know that the son, who was agreeing to everything and genuinely helping the whole kingdom, was aware of more.

Mervase could read around two thirds of the blue tablet and just knew what to do. He was just preparing stuff for his incoming brilliant movement.

"I believe in our Lord. His powers will destroy these pitiful divine demons… But they are so pitiful, don't you think, so father? They have to use divine in their names to tell others that they are from the greater lands."

"They are just trash in front of our lord. I don't know what exactly is this scheme and castle, but it's our job to take this down and get the most of it."

"I know, father."

Mervase smiled deeply, his expression looking merry. However, his eyes were different and so his father could tell that there was something he has been planning for… Both of them were scums, but they knew each other well too.

That was why the father just left the wise words behind.

"Mervase… Don't be too greedy or your own lightning will kill you."

"Thanks for such wise words, but no need to try so hard. My own lightning would never kill me."

The silence descended onto the room, then Mervase just turned around. His merry expression instantly faded away, his eyes narrowed. The man's steps were unhalted and so he gave off the confident aura.

Then, as he left the household, one of his people shared the news.

"Master's sister has returned."

"Has she closed herself in her house yet again?"

"No. It seems like she has taken a liking to that man. Right now, she is going around the capital while buying some stuff for dinner… I assume… She is with one of his women…"

"I am so happy. She finally decided to live her life the best."

His smile seemed so genuine that one would take these words for pure happiness. But the man who shared the news was close to the master and so he knew that it was the opposite. Mervase was laughing at Rosa's circumstances and her going outside didn't bring any worry to his side.

The gap was just too big.

No one from her side would go against him. No one would take a risk to protect her if he were to 'use' her as a weapon.

That was what Mervase thought…

"She doesn't have a lot of time… Haha, I am sure Rosa will grow to hate the castles soon."
