As the invaders managed to find a way to invade the ocean, it was clear that they were close to the irregular beast. However, the husband couldn't allow an escape for the one that felt Xaya's cold ghost presence.

There was a chance that some invader would survive in the end.

There were many possibilities, actually. Maybe the invaders brought up the treasure that was so strong that Kyoya would only be able to stop and escape with his party. As there were many of those, Kyoya had to go for the one that his eyes could see.

Thus, he went for the execution!

His Deceive Skill spread through his whole body, then the husband disappeared. His speed was so great that Yue was convinced he could break the limits of 19th floor adventurers! As she blinked, the husband's knife already pierced the invader's chest.

"Who-"

An invader was a tad stronger and still could see through the husband's sudden attack. He dodged the lethal attack by taking a step back, then immediately let out a cold sweep that shattered a clone!

A golden-red light then struck his eye from a blank point.

"AHHHH!"

"Shit!"

His friend couldn't process the situation. Everything happened so quickly that before any other move could be done, his friend already lost the eye. As the blood spilled, Kyoya's party entered the fun and surrounded the invaders.

Kyoya himself retreated, but just before his feet touched the ground, a small explosion engulfed the one-eyed invader. It was one of the husband's cards from this floor!

"Get the other one! Quickly!"

"Yes!"

The husband's party didn't disappoint. They quickly closed up distance and gang up the invader with their attacks. A scythe with death energy, flame fireball and even cold paw descended all onto the invader who just couldn't withstand any of these attacks.

He was also shocked to feel his master's presence from the cold wolf to the point where his body just got liable to all attacks.

As his head hit the ground, Kyoya hid two bodies within his inventory, then returned to the former corridor.

"I believe we are the only ones to know about this place. I will try to hide it with my power and make it our escape route."

"We don't have time to prepare stairs or ladders up, though."

"I know. It's not like I want to use this place, so it will be our hidden base if there are more betrayals…"

Kyoya couldn't imagine how it felt to suddenly be betrayed by close ones. Though he didn't know how close the nobles were with the royal family, Kyoya hoped he would never feel something similar.

There weren't many friends he could share a drink with, but it would change soon as he began to spread his wings!

He was already close to the 20th floor! Close to the quarter of the world pillar has been explored by him!

"It seems like the invaders… were searching this area?"

Kyoya mumbled while keeping an eye on the ice shard. This ice shard was within the invader's equipment and it continuously emitted some bright blue light. This light affected something around them, but Kyoya couldn't tell what.

His ice resistance totally nullified the effect and his party wasn't bothered by it too.

At the beginning, Kyoya thought that they were searching for something with this item in hand, but Noe said that maybe they were spreading this unknown power around the area!

"That sounds better. It might be it… Should we wait for others?"

Kyoya asked his party then. He obviously mentioned the forces that should be fighting above! If there were any invaders, that is! The worst case would be if the fire forces from above totally would miss the pathway here…

Only the stupid people would leave the pathway open and those invaders didn't fall to this category.

As Kyoya wondered, his party did the same.

"It's fine to wait and hunt a little. If the cold ghost can lure the invaders out, then how about we use it?"

Yue asked, her eyes on Xaya.

This yandere wife was the only one that could be more mysterious than the husband! His aura was alluring, but Xaya had something worse. She was gorgeous so her looks naturally made others to be in awe, but all of this was mixed with vicious killing aura! Of course, Xaya didn't exude any killing aura due to her husband being really close, but once his attention was gone somewhere else…

Though it was just a momentary feeling now that Xaya has changed and began to enjoy not only the husband and their time together, but the whole world on its own!

"We can lure the filth."

Xaya answered with her eyes on Yue who just faintly smiled. Somehow, the word filth sounded different and Yue began to understand why! Xaya's aura might be hidden, but the word filth was like a trigger, a word that was laced with this aura.

The party began to fight invaders in this way. They quickly found out that the first victims, lured by the cold ghost, separated themselves too far away from the main base. This allowed Kyoya and his party to weaken the invaders bountifully.

In the meantime, Xiaoxiao and Rosa entered the place filled with fire believers.

This was the base that invaders used before, but it had many traps around that were even more explosive now that they were in open place.

However, this trap was not only used by the invaders, but also the fire kingdom's believers.
