He was aware that someone was spying on him thanks to his divine energy, but Kyoya had no means of finding the spy and was rather amateur when it came to this aspect.

It has to be also mentioned, but most of these people were here just after ending their missions. It was too stupid for someone to attack them near the Grooma Kingdom, but some weirdos appearing from time to time was bound to happen.

Not only they felt like using their items and treasures would be wasteful, Kyoya's death would only make things easier for others while bringing nothing at all to their inventories. He was just an assassin and his equipment might be worth some money, but would it be truly worth it?
