I Am A Notorious Hidden Boss In The Alternate World

Chapter 290 - Fastest Breakup In History

"S-Sir Albion?! Are you alright?"

Princess Cylia hurriedly asked at the sight of Albion suddenly dropping to his knees, surrounded by a negative aura of despair.

Alas, everything was just an exaggerated act.

Albion realized his perfect appearance made other elves idolized him to the point that it drew too much point.

Considering he realized it too late and his current appearance could not be changed after being seen, he could only break their image of him and make himself seem more approachable.

"Ahem, it's nothing." Albion coughed before getting back on his feet and said, "You can drop the honorific and just call me Albion, Your Highness. There's no need to be so formal between us."

"B-between us....? W-w-we've reached that stage already...? Does that mean you have accepted to go out w-with me, Sir Albion..?"

Princess Cylia stuttered with an extremely flustered look.

At the same time, the shyness and adrenaline brought by excitement made her felt faint.

"Un." Albion agreed.

For his future happiness, he will not succumb to the Dark Emperor's curse of living the single dog life.

'Seems like I need to start some massage therapy and watch some r-18 porn to wake up the little brother...'

And if that did not work, some potent aphrodisiac or viagra will surely do the trick... hopefully.

Nevertheless, Princess Cylia was ecstatic after receiving Albion's affirmation.

"Great!"

Princess Cylia exclaimed with joy as she hooked her arms around Albion's left arm.

Alas, Albion could not enjoy the sensation of the young elf princess's chest rubbing against his arm.

It was the great tragedy that befalls the women of this elf tribe as they all seem to be genetically born with small chests.

That being said, Albion was not one to discriminate against a lady's assets. Small chests had their own charms too.

"Hmph. Master, you're drooling." Fenriri distanced herself from her group of spirit beasts and hugged Albion's other arm with a pout.

Boop.

Albion immediately punished her with a soft bump on the head as he casually said, "Trying to trick your master, huh?"

"Blehhh!"

Fenriri poked her tongue at him innocently, having failed in her attempt to prank her master.

Nevertheless, it was true that she saw her master wearing a slightly perverted look for a brief moment.

At the same time, she felt sour in her heart as she flashed a glance of jealousy at the elf princess.

Her master has been single until now, yet he immediately agrees when someone asks him out? What was so good about this elf princess? Was it simply because she was the first person ever to ask her master out?

"Hehe."

After sensing Fenriri's stare, Princess Cylia smiled back at her amicably as she expressed her stance and willingness to get along with Fenriri.

"Your Highness, we are happy that you found someone you like, but we still don't know about Sir Albion's character—"

One of the two escorts suddenly spoke before getting interrupted by Princess Cylia's following words.

"Look at all these spirit beasts around them. A person loved by this many spirit beasts cannot possibly be a bad person!" Princess Cylia stated snappishly, already taking Albion's side despite their unfamiliarity with each other.

"Actually, these spirit beasts are very easy to tame. You just have to give them a good pummeling," Albion suddenly said before turning to the spirit beasts behind him. "Aren't that right?"

The deer, dog, rabbit, snake, and tiger near them began whimpering with injustice and indignance at Albion's words.

"..."

Princess Cylia and her two escorts became speechless by the truth. Unfortunately, reality was not often what it actually seemed.

Nevertheless, the other female escort quickly recovered from her daze before she reminded Princess Cylia.

"Even if Sir Albion's character is not bad, your father, the king, will not allow this, Your Highness. After all, you are only 13 years old, the youngest princess, but also the king's favorite."

"What?"

Albion was immediately stunned by the female elf's words before he was forced to reevaluate Princess Cylia.

She had the height and appearance of an 18-year old lady, someone who has at least reached adulthood.

However, she was 13 years of age? Her look can certainly be deceiving but not entirely surprising when he thought about elven traits.

Although elves were blessed with a long lifespan and long-lasting youth, they were also closely attuned to nature and the wood element.

As such, it would not be weird for them to experience accelerated growth to reach their prime appearances quickly.

Even so, Albion had to confirm the truth with the person in question. He stared at Princess Cylia oddly.

"You're really 13 years old?" Albion asked.

"Mm!" Princess Cylia nodded before asking him back, "Is that a problem, Sir Albion?"

"Yeah…" Albion smiled wryly and slowly separated himself from Princess Cylia's grasp before he said, "I can't date kids. Let's talk about this going out matter again when you're older, Princess Cylia."

"W-why? How come? I'm already an adult!" Princess Cylia argued.

Happiness came too abruptly and left just as quickly.

Princess Cylia understood that Albion was breaking up with her when they just agreed to date. It was the fastest breakup she heard of.

"Perhaps, in your elven culture and some parts of the world. But where I live, 18 years is the age of adulthood, and I won't date anyone younger," Albion stated.

Even if it was legal in the elf tribe, it was morally wrong according to his principles. He did not need something like that weighing on his conscience, even if he did not care for the opinions and judgments of other people.

But considering he even thought that much, it was clear that the Dark Emperor's influence had yet to overwrite all his past life's values and principles.

"It's a shame, but we can only leave this matter for the future," Albion stated before saying, "On another note, I wonder if Princess Cylia is still willing to be my tour guide through the tribe?"

"Of course!"

Princess Cylia did her best to give Albion a bright smile despite being devastated by the emotional rollercoaster she just experienced.

"But when I turn 18, you have to marry me!" Princess Cylia suddenly added her condition.

Albion rubbed his head wryly.

If he promised her, would it be considered grooming? Would the police and FBI's still be after him if they knew?
