I Am A Notorious Hidden Boss In The Alternate World

Chapter 262 - New Moon

"Alright, I'll be there."

Beep.

Albion eventually hung up the call after getting the details of the event from Anya Seymour.

It was an anime convention, and for it to happen on the same day as Valentine's Day, it would undoubtedly be a gathering place for single people to spend their day.

"Master, what's an anime convention?" Fenriri asked curiously.

"Oh, you overheard that?" Albion glanced at her before he said, "Let's just say it's a good place to get you adapted to our culture quickly. Are you interested in coming?"

"Yeah!" Fenriri answered eagerly before she suddenly showed hesitation and uttered, "But…"

"I know, we will go see your sister before we heard there," Albion stated as he understood Fenriri's wishes before he quickly called Damocles and arranged for a pickup for the Blizzard Earthworms to be delivered to Polemos.

After leaving the chest of Blizzard Earthworms in the charge of a wolf-man to wait for the pickup starship from Damocles, Albion said to Fenriri, "Alright, grab on tight and don't lose the bag."

"Why do we need to—Ahhh!"

Swoosh~!

Albion immediately made a powerful leap and shot into the sky, dragging Fenriri with him as they flew to Stronghold GC-01 at great speed.

Fenriri was not mentally prepared, causing her to cry throughout the trip as the wind pressure battered against her face and made her cheeks rippled like waves at the beach.

Stronghold GC-01

As Albion approached the destination from the sky, he could see a black trail leading to Stronghold GC-02 from the stronghold.

Evidently, the project to connect the six strongholds was already making quick progress, something that would not have been possible without the efficiency of the droids.

However, outside and inside of Stronghold GC-01, many cracks in the land had been formed while thousands of bugs poured out of them—only to be slaughtered by tens of thousands of wolf-people under Chief Fenrigos's command.

"Bahaha, keep them coming!" Chief Fenrigos chortled loudly with an imposing and lofty aura as he spoke, "I don't know what these critters are, but killing them makes us stronger!"

"Kill!"

"OU!"

Needless to say, the morale of the wolf-people was at an all-time high as they slaughtered the strange green bugs with enthusiasm.

"Everyone is active here, but the situation is under control, huh? And they're all stronger at a noticeable rate, to boot," Albion studied the situation from the sky.

At the same time, Fenriri gradually adapted to flying with her master as she received a steady stream of innate energy to resolve her motion sickness.

As she gazed up at the skies, she quickly noticed something different about it before she squeezed her master's hand for attention and said, "Master, has that always been there?"

Albion followed Fenriri's gaze before he discovered an additional moon in the sky. It was red and slightly bigger than Earth's moon.

"No, it hasn't," Albion shook his head with surprise and said, "This world only had one moon."

"But now it has two."

"Yeah," Albion nodded and said, "We weren't even gone for half a day, but so much has happened during this time. The myriad worlds are overlapping at an alarming rate."

Albion frowned.

Given that an entire moon has been transported into Earth's orbit, it was hard to say what could happen next time.

If a giant planet like Jupiter appeared within close proximity of Earth, it would pull Earth into its orbit and siphon away all of Earth's atmosphere, effectively killing all life on it.

"How worrisome…" Albion uttered.

Looking at the possibilities, it was truly deserving to be called the Apocalypse. All life was as fragile as a candle fire, ready to be snuffed out of being at any given time.

"Master, wouldn't we all die if a new sun suddenly pops out next time?" Fenriri asked with surprise.

"If that happens, everyone is f*cked," Albion stated before suddenly adding, "But of course, there might be a chance of survival if people escape through the world portal before the sun's scorching temperature kills them."

"Is there anything we can do to prevent it from happening?" Fenriri furrowed her brows.

She had not been on Earth for long, but it had a lot of good stuff. She would hate for it to be destroyed before she could experience all its wonders.

"No, you can only hope that the worse does not happen while you grow strong—strong to the point that you can obliterate a star with a flick of your finger. Only then will you be capable of preventing such a disaster from happening," Albion stated.

"Oh…" Fenriri uttered with a thoughtful look before asking curiously, "Can Master obliterate a star?"

"What do you think?" Albion smiled before responding with another question.

"Definitely!" Fenriri answered.

"Hahaha, let's just leave it at that then."

Ordinary True Immortals could traverse the starry skies, given that they don't run out of divine power. However, they are not able to destroy stars.

Nevertheless, Albion was no ordinary True Immortal.

With the 10th Tribulation Lightning making a home in the depth of his sea of consciousness, there was no limit to the level of destructiveness he could unleash once he tapped into its full potential.

After locating Fenrira in the stronghold, Albion eventually descended towards her location before Fenriri shouted excitedly, "Big Sister!"

At that moment, Fenrira, like other wolf-people, was engaging the green bugs in battle within Stronghold GC-01—when she suddenly heard Fenriri's voice.

"Riri?" Fenrira uttered with surprise.

She quickly retreated from the front lines before gazing up at the source of the voice when she was immediately startled by Fenriri breaking free from Leon's grasp and diving straight down to her big sister with the leather bag in hand.

!!!—Bang!

The two wolf-girls headbutted each other by accident before they rolled on the ground in pain while hugging their foreheads as Fenriri cried, "Uwuwu! Why did you try to catch me, Big Sister?"

"Was I not supposed to? You were coming straight at me!" Fenrira hugged her own forehead with tears in her eyes.

Albion gradually landed softly on the snow before gazing at the pair of sisters speechlessly.
