I Am A Notorious Hidden Boss In The Alternate World

Chapter 206 - Take Them Off

"Still, Master, I thought you would have at least ordered the release of the human prisoners," Fenriri mentioned with surprise.

"The wolf-people of Stronghold 01 already submitted to me, so they are my people now," Albion stated before casually asking, "Who am I to take away their hard work?"

"As I said before, I won't mistreat my people. But I don't keep useless people either," Albion added before saying, "As such, I won't deprive their rights to grow. These prisoners will provide good EXP for their growth."

"Master, these people seem like important characters. That's why they have been kept captive since the Iceborn Wolf Tribe did not have a means of communicating and negotiating with the humans for their releases," Fenriri stated.

"Well, it doesn't matter to me what their statuses are. If I don't like them, they die. If I like them, they will live. Simple as that," Albion stated before adding, "That being said, the rest of them haven't annoyed me yet."

While Albion and Fenriri spoke in the native wolf language, the rest of the prisoners soon realized that even though a powerful human arrived, it did not necessarily mean that they were saved.

"Shit, it seems like this person is not with the Hunter Association. Heck, he might even be on these wolf-people's side."

"Yeah, we should have been released from these darn cages by now if he was our rescuer—but that does not seem to be the case."

"Just listen to him, and look at those wolf-people prostrating like they are worshipping him. Certainly looks human, but he might not be human at all."

"Don't tell me he is their god or something instead?"

As a group of B-rankers and A-rankers quietly discussed between them, Albion and Fenriri strolled past their cages.

A B-rank Hunter in his mid-30's whistled and said with a lewd gaze, "Damn, these two new wolf-girls that just arrived in the spaceship are not bad, though—especially this younger one here. She's quite to my liking."

Fenriri suddenly turned her head and gave the B-rank Hunter a disgusted look before spitting in the human language, "What a creep."

"Have some shame, mate. She's only like 13 years old," Albion added indifferently.

The B-rank Hunter was immediately dumbfounded—as were everyone else. It turns out that the two understood their language.

"Hey, buddy. Are you going to release us?" another B-rank Hunter quickly inquired.

Albion shifted his gaze and casually asked, "What can you offer me in exchange for your freedom? Your allegiance or your wealth?"

Seeing that Albion was willing to speak, the eyes of the prisoners immediately lit up. Even so, his question still caused them to be taken aback.

They needed to offer their allegiance to be released?

Is that not the same as getting out of one cage to enter another one? In the end, there was no real freedom in that choice.

"How much wealth do you want?" an A-rank Hunter asked seriously.

"Hmm…" Albion hummed for a moment before he casually stated, "I'm not asking for much. Just everything you have."

The other prisoners immediately wanted to faint with anger. Not asking for much, my ass! How is everything, not much?! That was daylight robbery!

Nevertheless, the A-rank Hunter agreed resolutely with a nod, "Deal."

"Great!" Albion uttered before saying, "Happy doing business with you."

Shortly after, Albion made a casual swipe at the cage lock with his hand before it was easily broken under his brute strength.

The A-rank Hunter appeared calm, but his eyes quickly flickered with shock.

Such a strong cage that even A-rank Hunters like him, a Level 49 Hunter at the Peak-rank Initiate Realm, cannot even shatter was easily done by this person, and with such ease.

"Do you have a phone?" Albion asked before showing his bank details with his cracked phone screen, "Send all your money to this account number."

The A-rank Hunter's lips immediately twitched.

'No wonder this person is such a money-grubber. He must be dirt poor! But for someone strong like this to be broke, he must have a serious gambling addiction!' the A-rank Hunter thought.

Nevertheless, A-rank Hunter responded with another nod, "I do."

Shortly after, the A-rank Hunter took out his phone and followed the quick transfer process, and had it approved before Albion's phone received a buzz.

Ding!

"Did you get it?" the A-rank Hunter asked.

"Yeah." Albion nodded calmly.

"Great!" the A-rank Hunter exclaimed before turning to the hunters still held in captivity before waving his goodbye, "Later, b*tches. I'm finally getting out of this damned place."

Money was important, but his life was even more important! With his ability, he could just make money back in no time.

"Wait."

Albion suddenly uttered—just as the A-rank Hunter was about to leave before the A-rank Hunter turned back with a frown.

"Are you planning to go back on your word?" the A-rank Hunter asked.

"The deal was for you to give up all your wealth," Albion stated coolly before gazing at the A-rank Hunter's equipment and said, "Your equipment doesn't look half bad. Take them off."

"Are you sure you want to push me this far?" the A-rank Hunter's expression turned gloomy and said, "My family's influence is not small. Are you sure you want to cross us?"

"I'm sure," Albion nodded before asking indifferently, "But the question is, are you sure you want to cross me?"

The atmosphere suddenly became tense.

However, staring for a short moment, the A-rank Hunter cracked a wry smile and said, "Yeah, Nah. You right."

After the A-rank Hunter unequipped his expensive black armor and tossed it to Albion's feet, he was finally pardoned to leave in the shivering cold with just his underwear.

"You let him left just like that, Master?" Fenriri asked after the person disappeared from Stronghold 01.

"Yeah," Albion nodded before saying, "I was wondering how news spread so easily from the Glacia continent, and as it turns out, it was due to your wolf-people not confiscating the hunters' phones."
