In the past week, Zack and Emma had quite a lot of talks with Hayden. The new ruler of the underworld had started implementing some strict policies in the underworld.

But since he was the ruler, no one could do anything against him. It was a complete dictatorship where things would go Hayden’s way as long as he was alive.

“The true ruler had thought that he would be there for quite a long time and therefore created such a rule. He was probably going to remove it before he died yet that sudden death didn’t allow him to do so.”

That was Zack’s theory on what happened.

‘Though his intents are pure, empires and people don’t change in one day.’ A sigh escaped Zack’s lips as he remembered the situation on the west side of the Eizenburgh kingdom.

Jonathan carefully planted the rumor that the duke had retired from his place and had become the king’s bodyguard. As expected, the rumor had spread like wildfire, becoming the only gossip being talked about.

To provide fuel to the fire, Jonathan had officially announced that the position of duke was open and that all noble families could send a person to take the new place.

‘I forgot that Pearl is a noble too, one who belonged to the family of a duke at that. If Jonathan plays his cards right, he should be able to instate her as the duke of the west.’

Currently, Zack had no plans of helping the duke since he was stuck in his own mess of things. Time was ticking by the second and his nervousness was increasing.

Just as a precaution, he had asked Emma, Eva, and Mia to stay home at all costs. The trio hadn’t questioned him about anything as they had already seen the nuclear bomb being dropped.

However, Zack could clearly see that Eva had started avoiding him after what happened. For some reason, he had a feeling that she was not doing it due to the kiss.

‘That’s not something to be worried about now. If the physical stats do appear in the real world, everything is going to be shifted. I wonder if Hayden will try to do anything.’

While thinking about this, Zack noticed that only an hour remained till midnight. His breathing quickened and he could no longer lie still on the bed.

His next step of action was to get a shower which he did while managing to spend forty-five minutes inside.

For the last five minutes, he started pacing the room while planning what he would do in the future. Upon the appearance of such physical changes, a new world will be born.

The government as well as the rules and laws would fall down, receding to the might makes right times. The strongest would be at the top which reminded Zack of Oracroft.

If all of their players managed to get strong, there was going to be a riot and the entire company was going to fall down.

That was one worry on his list as Zack would no longer have to worry about the two CEOs’ schemes.

Would magic come to life?

Zack’s heartbeat quickened as the clock suddenly turned to midnight, bringing something completely unexpected along with it.

Zack’s jaw dropped down when he saw a status screen appear in front of him. Not only that but the mana column made him turn pale.

If there was mana, there was magic. If there was magic, there was chaos and if there was chaos, there was death.

Since a status screen had already opened in front of him, Zack decided to go ahead and try to open his skill screen.

Shockingly, it worked.

“Asghshfd!” Zack had no words to describe what was happening in front of him. He already knew about the physical changes but the mana had been a blow.,

Even the game didn’t have mana!

He immediately closed all the windows and dashed to Emma’s door. He didn’t bother knocking and simply pushed the door with his index finger.

The entire thing came crashing down yet he easily managed to lift it using his right hand and thus prevented it from creating any sort of sound.

Zack’s eyes immediately moved towards Emma who was sleeping with her body completely covered in sheets.

Judging from what he was seeing, she was fully naked.

‘Damn it!’ However, his attention was instantly pulled by the bright pink status window in front of Emma’s face.

For the first time, he could see his partner’s stats.

Unlike Zack, Emma’s stats were not balanced at all which made it clear that she focused on one aspect more than the other. However, her stats were still better than the one or two stat focused players.

‘I don’t have time to think of such things,’ Zack thought before speaking aloud and waking Emma up. “Emma, wake up!”

The pink-haired girl sat straight up the moment she heard Zack’s voice. The pink screen too moved with her as she looked at it with wide eyes.

“What a weird dream…”

Emma muttered with a sleepy expression as Zack decided to wake her up for real while using his skills on her.

“Water gun.” He said aloud and pointed his index finger in Emma’s direction. A spray of water was released from his finger, hitting directly on the girl’s face.

“That was definitely real…” Emma muttered while shivering as the water went down her body.

It was at that moment that they realized, Emma was naked.

“Zack, please look around.”

“As you say.”

The black-haired boy didn’t utter a single word and turned around. Something in Emma’s voice had made it clear that she was hit him hard if he did anything wrong.

‘Those were definitely D cups, maybe double D cups…’ Zack’s eyes had managed to see Emma’s chest, albeit barely.

He couldn’t even get to see the pink cherries clearly yet seeing the twin mountains had been enough for him.

After a few seconds, he turned around to see Emma wearing a roughly buttoned-up shirt before rolling her eyes.

“Just to be clear, don’t expect me to be all blushy and flustered and sh*t. It twenty sixty-nine and hardly anyone is like that.”

“As expected of someone with a D… desire to be a good huntress.” Zack had almost slipped up yet he managed to smoothly prevent himself from experiencing any mishappening.

“Now, let’s talk about what the hell is going on.” Emma said with a humorless smile as they began their talk.
