Hikari: Rise Of The Weapons Master

“Hayden… Solanski?” Zack looked as though he had just seen a ghost. His entire body went pale when he heard the name of the new ruler of the underworld.

“Now, you just won’t happen to know him, do you?” Jonathan narrowed his eyes as he saw Zack’s expression.

The teenager had surprised him a lot of times but if he knew the new ruler of the underworld too, that would be a completely different thing.

“I have heard the name a few times,” Zack replied truthfully. “Yet I don’t know much about him.”

“Sure…” Jonathan muttered before shaking his head. “Anyways, please go check and see whether he knows about this thing or not. If he doesn’t, bring him to the capital.”

This time, Jonathan didn’t give them a quest. After they managed to go and come back, he would give them something far better than that.

Zack and Emma just nodded before they exited the palace and returned to the guild.

“I will be right back,” Zack said in a hurry before he logged out and woke in the gaming pod.

‘If Hayden is the new ruler of the underworld, does that mean he is allied with the dark side this time? Even his name is different from last time.’

Zack knew that he had to tell this news to Evangeline and Ray that very second. If Hayden was controlling an empire in the game world while his father controlled one in the real world, things were going to be very tough.

‘Why does the Solanski family focus on controlling empires?’ While thinking that, he stood up and immediately called Eva.

The CEO picked up his call after a few rings as a hologram appeared in front of him.

“I am currently in the middle of something important so unless you can match that level of importance, I am ending this call,” Eva said with a tired expression as Zack immediately told her what he had heard.

“Hayden Solanski is controlling the underworld in the Eizenburgh kingdom.”

Eva paused when she heard the name Hayden Solanski. While slowly rubbing her temples, Eva stared at the screen in front of him.

“What a coincidence. While Hayden is controlling an underworld empire in Hikari, his father is asking the three companies, including mine, to let him handle the medical stores or else he will give us an ‘explosive presentation’ to change our mind.”

“…”

[0)ᴠᴇʟ Zack was speechless when he heard that Hayden’s father had also decided to do something like that. He could easily tell that the ruler of the underworld meant nukes and such when he talked about explosive presentation.

“Ask him whether I can talk with his son. It doesn’t have to be face to face either. Just a talk inside Hikari.

“Zack, what am I?”

“A human?”

“And what happens to humans when they are struck by something which can possibly blow an entire continent off the face of the earth?”

“Uh, humans die?”

“There’s your answer to that talk.”

“You could have declined politely.”

A smile appeared on Eva’s face as she heard Zack’s reply. However, declining normally wasn’t her style.

“Just so you know, I will only send a single message and pray that he doesn’t try anything explosive. By the way, how did you manage to reach third place so quickly?”

Eva had just seen the latest article about Zack and Emma’s sudden climb to the top. She had to admit that she hadn’t expected such a thing to happen.

“I just hacked the game, simple,” Zack replied with a grin before he decided to cut the call.

Eva could only sigh in dismay as she opened up Doogle on her computer.

“How to contact the Solanskis,” Eva muttered while typing before she checked the results.

Zack on the other hand decided to go and check up on his sister. Due to the recent events, he and Mia hadn’t talked much,

Zack decided that he would spend the remaining day with her before going back inside Hikari.

As he was about to leave, Emma too stood up from the gaming pod and stretched her body before giving Zack a look.

“Don’t tell me you were about to go ahead and do what not alone,” Emma said with a smile as the black-haired boy smiled back.

“Well, the more the merrier.”

The two of them then walked into the elevator before going up. Mia was staying in one of the many rooms in Eva’s house and the duo had no idea which one it was.

Fortunately, Eva’s staff was still there so he could ask about their location. After asking the directions from a maid, the duo started climbing up.

“We have to take right here.” Emma pointed out as the two of them followed the direction and walked right.

It turned out that Emma’s sense of direction was good in real life as well. She could remember directions easily and travel without any worries.

After reaching Mia’s room, Zack was about to knock on it when he heard some voices coming from inside.

“Miss, are you sure that you don’t want a lover? I fell in love with you at first sight.” A slightly young male voice came outside followed by Mia’s polite voice.

“As I have told you many times, no, I am not interested. I don’t have time for such things now plus you look too desperate.”

“Don’t be like that miss… My love for you is real.”

“This motherfcker!” A vein popped in Zack’s forehead as he was about to take Chastiefol out and go full commando on whoever was inside the room.

Fortunately, Emma was there to hold him back and prevent anything from happening.

“Don’t worry, Mia would kick his ass out of the room before she lets him do anything. Are you a Sis-Con?” Emma whispered as Zack immediately calmed down.

Sometimes he forgot that his sister was actually a really dangerous woman to those who tried to do anything wrong with her.

However, he hadn’t seen that personality of his sister in a long time.

“I will ask you to leave politely one last time,” Mia’s voice came outside again. “Or I will be forced to use violence.”

“Violence? Lady, you do know that I have been trained in martial arts?” The male voice asked as Zack suddenly imagined a smirk on Mia’s face.

“And I have been trained in the arts of kicking balls. If you don’t leave in the next few seconds, I am afraid I might have to show you a demonstration.”

Whoever the male was, immediately ran towards the door and stepped out. And that’s where he was met with Zack’s elbow.

“I should ask Eva to remove you,” Zack muttered as he looked at the figure who he had just knocked out. “I should ask her to make you my servant.”

The knocked-out figure had curly red hair and black eyes that were rolled to the back of his head. He was dressed in an all-black outfit that made Zack wonder whether he was a bodyguard.

‘He looks too young to be one.’ He then decided to ask Eva about it.

After sending her a photo asking about the man’s details, Zack dragged his body beside the door and placed him there.

“Hello, Mia.” He then smiled and walked inside the room to see his sister looking surprised.

Mia had watched the entire thing unfold in front of her eyes as she had seen the man falling down on the ground.

“What a great time for you to visit me.” Mia smiled as she hugged her big brother before moving close to Emma and hugging her too.

The pink-haired woman was surprised by the sudden hug but she hugged Mia back.

After separating, Mia looked back at Zack with a smile as she remembered her high school years with him.

She had blossomed into a beauty and with her personality, everyone seemed to like her. Many boys had tried to make her their girlfriend to which, Zack had responded kindly with “fck off”.

A few girls had jokingly called him the sis-con brother and Mia had laughed at that. It had been one of the few times Zack had lost his cool and easy-going personality.

“Perhaps a glare would have been enough,” Mia muttered as Zack shook his head.

“He was lucky I didn’t give him a knee strike,” Zack muttered as the two siblings exchanged a small smile.

Emma on the other hand wondered what was the important thing Zack had wanted to do before.

‘Guess I will ask him later.’

Emma sighed as she too wanted to spend the rest of the day with the duo. And her wish was going to be fulfilled.
