Hidden Marriage With My Imperfect CEO

Chapter 241 - Donor

"If you are really picky about women, why don't you marry a great woman?" Anya asked half jokingly.

"When I married you, my eyesight wasn't very good," Aiden replied casually. He teased Anya on purpose, wanting to upset her.

Anya rolled her eyes. Why did she ask things that made her even irritated like this? Did that mean Aiden married her because he was blind at that time?

"If you're really sorry, would you like to replace your wife with a new wife?" Anya asked angrily.

"I'll think about it," Aiden replied with a chuckle. "If I can find someone cuter than you and can make me happier than you, then I will replace my current wife."

"That means, you married me because I'm cute and only I can make you happy!" Anya's tiny face couldn't show the pride in her heart.

"Hmm…" Aiden muttered with a nod.

Seeing that Aiden did not deny her words, Anya was very happy. It made her eat heartily.

Aiden spent his time watching Anya eat. He was happy to see Anya eating a lot. His wife's body was too thin so that her health was not good. Aiden had promised himself to take care of Anya.

In order to increase Anya's appetite, Aiden even told Hana to make her dishes filled with various colors, aromas and flavors that could make people drool when they saw it.

Anya looked at the food served on the table. The portion was not that big but the menu was various and had a delicious taste.

This afternoon, she had nothing to do so she would have plenty of time. Anya decided to enjoy her lunch slowly.

Anya ate heartily, not realizing that Aiden was looking at her more often than using his own spoon.

You could say, Anya finished all the food alone.

Aiden just sat watching Anya enjoy her food. He was quite happy to see it. The man was happy to see his wife eating well.

Anya was not like most women who were shy and refrained themselves from eating in front of their lover. Those women usually maintained their image by only ordering salads and dined with elegance.

Aiden's little wife was eating very well, no matter who was looking at her. She seemed to really enjoy her meal, making the food in front of her look very delicious.

"Sir," Harris knocked on Aiden's door.

"Come in," the warm smile on Aiden's face disappeared immediately. He returned to being the cold president director, sitting straight across from his subordinates.

Harris pushed the door and saw Anya was eating. He looked at Anya with worry and didn't dare come over.

"The day before the accident at Madam's garden, Miss Raisa went to eat near the lake and didn't come home until morning. At that time, she was wearing sunglasses. Based on the evidence we have, we can be sure that it was Miss Raisa who ordered someone to destroy Madame's vanilla," Harris said calmly.

Anya suddenly raised her head. "Are you sure Raisa did it?"

"Yes, Madame." Harris nodded.

"Is she crazy? What's my fault with her that she doesn't stop looking for trouble with me?" At first, Anya couldn't believe Raisa did it all to her. But she was really angry when she found out all the evidence pointed at Raisa.

"Three years ago, on the engagement night of Mr. Aiden and Ms. Natali, Ms. Raisa had the chance to express her feelings to him by using the big screen above the mall owned by Atmajaya Group. Everyone knows that Miss Raisa likes Mr. Aiden so… Miss Raisa may be jealous of you," Harris said calmly.

"Raisa confessed her feelings to you?" Anya remembered when she met Raisa in front of Aiden's office and that woman humiliated her in front of everyone.

She didn't expect Raisa to be so crazy about Aiden like this.

"Don't you know, Madame? At that time, the internet was in uproar with the news that the Mahendra family came by themselves to apologize," Harris stared at Anya in surprise because Anya did not know the shocking part.

"Three years ago, Anya's mother fell ill and her grandmother died. Anya doesn't have time to pay attention to news like that," Aiden casually said.

However, Aiden's words made Anya a little surprised.

Without realizing it, Anya's eyes slightly reddened. She took a deep breath, raised her head and looked at Aiden. "Aiden, have you been engaged to Natali since three years ago?" she asked in a low voice.

She knew Aiden was engaged to Natali, but she didn't know since when he did.

"The Tedjasukmana family experienced a decline three years ago. At that time, Deny used the land he owned, the land which is now the Atmajaya Group office, so that he could match Natali with me. She wants a rich husband for Natali," Aiden said, his face was without expression.

"So, if Natali didn't set you up, you would have married her?" Anya unconsciously gripped the spoon in her hand tight.

"No. I will marry you still," Aiden looked closely at Anya. His hand was holding Anya's hand, telling her to let go of her grip. He didn't want Anya to hurt herself.

"Three years ago, my father paved the way for Natali to find a good husband. What about me? I'm his daughter too. Why does he never care about me? My mother is sick. I borrowed money from him to save my mother's life, but he refused!" tears stream down Anya's face as she said this. She asked with a face full of tears, "Aiden, why didn't I get engaged to you three years ago? I wish it were me…"

Aiden hugged Anya's body gently. "That's already in the past. I am yours now," he whispered.

"Aiden, I know my father is not a good person. But somehow I still feel hurt. I'm his daughter too. Why is he so mean to me? Why?" Anya cried like a child in Aiden's arms.

Secretly, Harris came out of the office and left the two of them alone.

As Anya said…

If only Deny didn't favoritism…

If only Deny didn't put Natali above her…

If only three years ago, Anya, as Deny's eldest daughter, was the one engaged to Aiden, maybe her grandmother wouldn't die and her mother's illness wouldn't be this serious.

But the truth was, Deny didn't care about his first daughter at all. He gave his all to Natali.

It took Aiden quite a while to calm Anya down. In the end, Anya could only lean in Aiden's arms while there were still tears on her face.

Anya's mood was still bad, but she suddenly got a call from Deny. "Anya, father wants to meet you now."

"What's wrong? Why can't you just say it on the phone?" Anya asked coldly.

"The doctor said that I hurave emia and need to find a kidney donor. Go to the hospital to test your kidneys. If you are willing to donate your kidney, father will give you whatever you want," Deny said.

Anya laughed loudly even though her face was still full of tears. There was no joy in her laughter, only hidden cynicism and hatred. Then, she said in a cold voice, "I want father's love. Can you give it to me? I want my grandmother back. Can you give it to me? I want my mother to be healthy and live with me. What I want is very simple and you can't give me anything."

"Anya, I know that I have treated you badly all this time. But aren't you guilty too? It's not that dad doesn't love you. But every time you see you, dad always remembers my son that you killed…"

"Are you sure it's your son? Your kidneys are bad. Are you sure you are the father of that child?" Anya said cruelly. She was really angry and didn't care anymore.

"You..." Deny was really angry and wanted to shout at Anya, but he thought about his illness. He needed Anya to get a kidney donor so he held back his anger. "Anya, no matter what happened, I am still your father. Do you really have the heart to see your father die?"
