Hidden Marriage With My Imperfect CEO

Chapter 223 - Don't Cry

"Are you afraid I will kill him?" Aiden said as he turned to Anya.

Anya pursed her red lips and whispered. "It's against the law to kill that person. I don't want you to do it."

Aiden's eyes looked confused for a moment, but then he understood. He looked at Anya. "Do you care for me? Are you afraid that something will happen to me?"

"Hmm...The results of my hard work were saved thanks to you. I really thank you." Anya met Aiden's gaze, looking at her husband's handsome face.

Aiden held Anya's chin gently, "How do you thank me?"

Anya blinked her wet eyes. She thought for a moment and then said, "How about I make you vanilla ice cream after the harvest?"

Aiden's eyes looked surprised when he heard that. Anya said at harvest time, she would make vanilla ice cream, even though the vanilla still took a few months to harvest after this incident. Did that mean Anya decided to stay in his house and did not intend to part with him?

"I'm looking forward to it," Aiden said in a low voice. Could he hope?

When their car pulled up in front of the house, Hana rushed out and greeted them. "Anya, you are back. How is the garden's condition?"

"Luckily, we were able to find the problem on time so those plants could be saved," Anya said with a smile.

"Anya, give me some of your vanilla," Tara said, following Hana to welcome her friend.

"Would you like to make vanilla ice cream too?" asked Anya.

"Vanilla is not only used to make ice cream. I can make chocolate, toast, brownies, steamed dumplings..."

"Stop thinking about food. Later I will share it with you," Anya immediately interrupted Tara. If she wasn't stopped, Tara would continue to name all the food in her brain.

Tara was a true food lover. Even before the vanilla was harvested, she was already thinking about what food she could eat.

"You two, don't show off your affection in front of single people like us. Aren't you guys thinking about how Tara and I feel?" Nico's gaze fell on Aiden and Anya's hands which were still linked. Their hands gripped each other tightly, as if they were inseparable.

Did a couple getting divorced really look like this?

Anya immediately blushed and tried to get rid of Aiden's hand. However, Aiden's grip tightened as if he wanted to keep their hands together forever.

"Don't talk too much. You talk more and more when you are hungry. We better eat soon." Aiden looked at Nico.

Nico ran into the house smiling, "Mother, Uncle and Auntie are home. Let's eat. Otherwise I will starve to death."

"Haven't you eaten roasted sweet potatoes earlier?" said Maria with a smile.

"Baked sweet potatoes are not enough for my stomach, Mom." Nico laughed and ran to the kitchen so Maria could quickly get her cooking out.

Anya walked into the dining room and was touched to see various delicious foods on the table.

Maria still brought some more dishes from the kitchen when she saw Anya. She immediately smiled. "The last time you went to dad's house, you didn't have time to eat. Today you have to eat a lot!"

"Thank you, Sis. You were visiting but we even bothered you and made you cook so much food," Anya immediately washed her hands and went to the kitchen to help her.

"We are all family. If you want to thank me, then eat a lot!" Maria said with a smile.

During the meal, Maria realized that Anya was helping Aiden to take food even though Aiden could see now. It seemed Anya was used to doing it...

They were not like a couple who wanted to separate at all.

Tara blinked at Maria. Right now, they didn't need to help Aiden and Anya to make up. It looked like these two people had made up by themselves.

It's all because they loved each other and they didn't want to be apart.

No matter how hard Anya's mother tried to separate them, or how much Bima disliked Anya, as long as Aiden and Anya didn't want a divorce, no one would be able to separate them.

After dinner, Maria looked for an excuse to go with Nico and Tara.

Anya looked at Aiden silently, but then Aiden also stared at her. When their eyes met, a smile appeared on their lips.

"I just came back from overseas and I still have a lot of work to do now. What would you do?" asked Aiden.

"I received some special perfume orders from clients and I also have to find inspiration for my new perfume," said Anya.

"Hmm... I'll come to your place after work," Aiden got up and went up to his study.

Meanwhile, Anya went to the kitchen and made two cups of tea. When she brought the tea into Aiden's study, she heard Aiden calling someone.

"How? How could you let him escape?" said Aiden in a sharp voice.

Anya walked into the room as if nothing happened. She put down the cup she was carrying and waited for Aiden to finish the call.

Aiden reached out and hugged Anya's waist. He brought Anya's body into his lap gently. Anya then sat on Aiden's lap without moving or making a sound.

"No matter what, I want that person to be found. If he's not found, you don't need to come back." Aiden hung up the phone nonchalantly.

Anya raised her head and asked, "Did Dio run away?"

Aiden brought his face close to Anya's ear. "I'll find him."

Without realizing, Anya clenched her fists. She said carefully, "My father came to see my mother and returned her perfume recipe to me."

Aiden smiled faintly, but his smile seemed to hold a lot of meaning. "Do you want me to forgive your father?"

Anya nodded. "I don't understand the company's problems, but it looks like he's in deep trouble."

"Did he say that if the Tedjasukmana Family went bankrupt and Natali's engagement failed, the Atmajaya Family would look down on you?" Aiden looked at Anya with a smile.

Anya's eyes widened. "How do you know?"

Aiden smiled faintly but said nothing. His wife did not get her father's love from childhood. As long as Deny said a few gentle words that could touch her heart, Anya would forget the problems between them.

Deny was so cunning that he took advantage of Anya's weakness. He knew that Anya was too gentle and kind.

"Anya, I just want to take back everything that belongs to you and your mother. I don't even care about the Tedjasukmana Family. I only intended to take back your mother's property. It is not their right to own it." Aiden hugged Anya's body and kissed her forehead. "If Deny hadn't taken the villa, your mother's illness wouldn't have been this serious."

Anya frowned and buried her face in Aiden's arms, but her mouth didn't say anything. Aiden could feel Anya's delicate little shoulders trembling.

Not only did Anya struggle alone, her mother and grandmother also suffered so badly in the last ten years. These three great women struggled to survive, until one by one began to leave Anya alone...

"My grandmother sold her family's house and before she died, she donated her body to save my mother's life. If only my father hadn't taken the villa, maybe grandma wouldn't have died so quickly and maybe my mother wouldn't have been like this."

Aiden felt his clothes getting wet. His wife cried again, making his heart hurt too.

"Anya, don't cry. I won't let anyone do this to you again," Aiden said softly.

"Aiden, I want to be with you forever. Maybe if you help my mother to get her villa back, she will accept you," Anya said with tears.
