Hidden Marriage With My Imperfect CEO

Chapter 154 - Bouquet Of Flowers

"Auntie, are you not working today? Are you on holiday?" Nico asked in surprise.

Anya lifted her head and looked at Nico in annoyance. However, seeing Nico's face, she immediately got an idea and said, "Nico, don't you want to send flowers to Tara today?"

"Give me ninety-nine red roses and send it to Tara's clinic." Nico said immediately.

"Thank you. I'll give you a cheap price. I hope you can quickly unite with Tara." Anya said, smiling sweetly at Nico.

"Thank you, Auntie. How should I pay for it? Cash or transfer?" Nico asked.

"I'm not done talking. I have too many flowers and I won't be able to sell them all today. don't you want to buy these flowers and give them to your office staff? I have lots of red roses."

"All female staff get flowers on women's day. Why should I give them red roses when there are no events?" Nico asked, frowning.

"Then what about lilies? I also have lots of lilies. Anya replied.

Nico glanced at the lilies scattered on the floor. The flower looked very new. The leaves were still complete on the stem and there were still water droplets on the petals.

"Auntie, can't I just buy ninety-nine roses for Tara?" Nico asked.

Anya's face was immediately disappointed, "Fine, then there is no cheap price for you!"

Nico was stunned and asked, "Why is that? Didn't you say you would give me a cheap price?"

"I'll give you a cheap price because I consider you my nephew. But not now. I am a flower seller and you are a buyer. Today, there are no discounts on red roses. If you don't want to buy it, go away!" Anya said coldly, "Mrs. Hana, take Nico out."

Hana just laughed at that, "Mr. Nico, are you out of money? If you could buy flowers to please your aunt, why not?" She said as she walked over to Nico.

Nico thought for a moment while looking at Anya's sullen face. Then he said, "Auntie, I'm just kidding. I will buy all your flowers. I'll take everything to the office."

"Is it true? All?" Anya asked, confirming once again in surprise.

"Yes, every last one of them!"

"I'll wrap the flowers you bought for Tara. Some of these flowers have been ordered by the florist and the others I will give to you at a low price." Anya said while giving Nico the price details.

"Auntie, why are the roses you gave me so cheap, while the bouquet for Tara is expensive?" Nico asked, frowning.

"There are differences in the packaging. Have breakfast first, I will calculate the amount for you." Anya immediately busied herself, counting the flowers ordered by other flower shops.

Nico just scratched his head. He could not distinguish between these flowers. Their color was both red and they were both spiky!

It made him even more amazed when he saw that his aunt's knee was injured. How could his uncle let his aunt hurt. Plus, why did his aunt pick so many flowers when she was hurt? She wouldn't have time to sell it.

Anya counted the flowers ordered by the flower shop and wrapped them in newspaper, then put them in a basket on her electric bicycle. The flowers were ready to be delivered.

After flowers for the flower shop were isolated, Anya sat on a small chair, carefully selecting the ninety-nine best red roses. She made sure there were no thorns on the flowers, then combined them with lilies and other leaves.

Anya liked Tara so much that she chose the best flowers and the most beautiful wrapping.

When Nico came back after eating his lunch, he saw Anya making a bouquet. His eyes widened at the bouquet.

"Auntie, is this a bouquet for Tara?" Nico asked, looking at it carefully, "Bouquet like this is sold very expensive in flower shops."

"Right. This is all because you are my nephew. I chose the best flowers and used the most expensive wrapping paper!" Anya said.

"Thank you auntie!" Nico replied with a grimace.

Anya smiled too, "I have never harmed someone close to me, but my own husband set me up like this. He ordered many people to pluck all my flowers like picking grass. I'm very disappointed to see him."

Nico tried to suppress the smile on his lips. He wondered why his aunt was harvesting so many flowers and said she didn't have time to sell them. It turned out that all of this was his uncle's doing!

"Auntie, I have another offer. Today, there is an important company meeting and many higher-ups will gather. I'll wait twenty minutes and you can make me some samples of beautiful flower bouquets like Tara's. I'll take the sample bouquet to the company meeting and sell it for you. I'll call you to tell how many people will buy it!" Nico said happily when he realized the brilliant idea.

Anya immediately looked happy, "I'll be waiting for your good news!"

At half past nine in the morning, Nico hurried over to his attendance at lightning speed and tried not to be late.

Before Aiden became the leader of the company, Nico always woke up late and came to work late without anyone daring to scold him. He had a thousand and one reasons why he couldn't make it to work on time.

Drunk from accompanying a client last night…

Not in a good mood…

Not feeling well…

Stomachache from eating wrong…

In short, he had various reasons to avoid work.

However, after Aiden took over the company, he had to arrive at the office before half past nine in the morning.

If he was even one minute late, he would have to work overtime by one hour. If he was an hour late, he would have to work late on the weekends. If he did not come to the office for any reason, the leave would be lifted.

Because of that, Nico continued to go to the office, even if he had to go through a storm.

After Nico was absent, he immediately called several people to bring flowers from his car to the conference room.

In his car, there were ten bouquets of flowers worth three hundred thousand.

After receiving the news, Harris immediately reported it to Aiden, "Sir, Mr. Nico ordered lots of flowers and brought them to the conference room."

"Nico will help Anya to sell the flowers. I'll be there later." Aiden said calmly.

In the conference room on the twentieth floor, the company officials had gathered but Aiden's nose was completely nowhere to be seen.

"Mr. Aiden is receiving an important call and will be here in a moment." Harris said to the company officials.

Nico immediately understood Aiden's intention and said, "Harris, have you seen my flowers?"

"Is this flower ..." Harris was about to ask, but Nico immediately interrupted.

"Right! Uncle's lover who planted all these flowers. Don't you want to buy this flower?" Nico said, glancing at everyone in the room.

When they heard it, they all immediately understood the meaning behind Nico's words.

"Mr. Nico, please give me a bouquet."

"I'll also buy a bouquet."

"I also want ..."

"Harris, help me record all the orders. Tell my uncle's lover to send it immediately." Nico said to Harris with a satisfied smile.

Harris could only take a deep breath. He was an assistant who handled all important matters in the company. But it seemed he would be a florist for Anya today.

When Nico called Anya, all the flowers had been neatly trimmed and only had to be wrapped.

"Does anyone want to buy it?" Asked Anya happily when she received a call from Nico.

"Auntie, all the bouquets are sold out. A lot of people want it." As soon as Nico said it, he saw Aiden coming.

Anya looked at the remaining flowers and made a decision, "The rest of the flowers were not the best quality flowers like I use in the bouquet for Tara. I will use ordinary roses and reduce the price."

"Anya, you sell flowers in my office. You used my assistant and my nephew to work for you. Do you know that you have made me lose?" A voice that Anya had not heard for a long time was heard from across the phone.
