Her Husband is My Lover

Xavier just kept looking at Rose sleeping face. 

He didn't realise that he had been staring at her from a while... And just zoned out as he looked at her. 

Her hair was falling on her disturbing her from the face. He slowly walked towards her and slowly bend down to raised his hand and bought it close towards her face. 

He touched the hair and tucked them behind her ear making her slowly open her eyes.

Rose eyes widened as soon as she opened her eyes and saw Xavier looking at her who is really so close to her. 

"Xavier..." Rose said as she got up from the chair immediately and stood on her feet making Xavier sigh and stand straight.

"I... Your hair was disturbing you... So, I just thought to... You know... Tuck it behind your ear..." Xavier stuttered as he sighed making Rose nod her head in yes.

"Ohh... That's... That's alright!" Rose replied making Xavier nod his head and just turned around to leave from the dining room but stopped in mid way as Rose called him.

"Xavier..." Rose called Making him stop and he slowly turned around towards him.

"Dinner?" Rose asked making Xavier look at the dishes. He sighed as he looked up at her.

"I told you already that I am not hungry..." Xavier said Making Rose take a deep breath.

"If you are not hungry then why did you come to the dining room?" Rose asked making Xavier look at her.

"Um... To see... You!" Xavier answered making Rose frown.

"Why do you care about me, Xavier?" Rose asked making Xavier take a deep breath.

"Because, you didn't yet come to our room. Just wanted to see where you have been. That's it." Xavier answered making Rose smile.

"Is that's it?" Rose asked making Xavier raise his eyebrows at her.

"What else is there will be?" Xavier asked as he shrugged.

"I thought that you had to have dinner..." Rose answered making Xavier shake his head in no.

"No... I am not hungr..." Before Xavier finish the sentence... His stomach growled letting him know that, his stomach is hungry... 

Rose chuckled as she heard his stomach growl. 

"Have your seat... I will serve..." Rose said with a smile as she looked at him and starred to serve him on the plate.

"Rose..." Xavier called making her look up at him.

"What Happened, Xavier? You don't want to taste what I cooked? Should I order from outside then?" Rose asked making Xavier sigh.

"Why are you doing this?" Xavier asked making Rose frown.

"Doing what, Xavier?" Rose asked making Xavier sigh.

"Doing something that you don't like to do!" Xavier answered making Rose take a deep breath.

"Don't you want me to do all these because I am your wife?" Rose asked.

"Rose..." Xavier called her sternly making her take a deep breath.

"Xavier... You know that I love you now... So, what is the use of asking this right now?" Rose asked.

"Even if I get to know that you love me now... That doesn't mean that you love to cook for me?" Xavier asked making Rose sigh.

"I am trying to change myself... For you! Is that wrong?" Rose asked.

"Changing for me?" Xavier asked and Rose nodded her head in yes.

"Do you think, I will love you if you change yourself? Huh?" Xavier asked making Rose take a deep breath.

"I don't know but I know that is I need to change myself for you! So, I am trying to do my best as your wife for you." Rose answered making Xavier sigh.

"Don't try to do anything for me..." Rose cut off Xavier in mid sentence.

"Why not?" Rose asked as she frowned at him.

"Why will you, Rose? Just be as you are..." Xavier answered.

"But I want to change myself and Love my husband. Is that wrong thing to do?" Rose asked making Xavier sigh.

"This is not the answer I want to hear from you!" Xavier answered making Rose walked towards him.

"You told right... That, you want a wife who can do all the things that a wife can do... Right? Yes... I am trying to change myself and trying to become a good wife for you... And I promise that, I will change... I won't go out anymore... I will not go out with friends... I will try to be a good wife for you... We can start new..." Rose said as she grabbed her hand making Xavier take a deep breath.

"Do you think you can do this, Rose?" Xavier asked as he looked into her eyes.

"I know, it's hard for me... But I can still try..." Rose answered.

"But I don't think you can do it..." Xavier said.

"How can you say that without giving me a chance, Xavier?" Rose asked making Xavier sigh.

"I was just angry on Valentina, Xavier... There is nothing more... I know you love her... But, you can try to forget her... Can't you? You are married to me... I am beautiful... Like her... Intelligent like her... What is there in her that isn't in me?" Rose asked as a tear falls down from her eyes as she looked into Xavier's eyes.

"Xavier... I promise I will do all the Choas in the house from tomorrow... Even the... Dishes..." Rose said making Xavier sigh.

"Rose, I don't want you to Compare yourself with Valentina anymore. Do you understand?" Xavier asked making Rose take a deep breath.

"But... Doesn't it what you look for? She is more smart than me... And beautiful than me? Is that why?" Rose asked making him sigh.

"Rose, I have never told you that you are not beautiful and neither smart or intelligent like her... Did I ever compared to you both anytime?" Xavier asked making Rose sigh but she still shook her head in no. 

"I did never... Maybe... You might have become a great bussiness woman or anything... Than her... If you had concentrated on your education and didn't felt jealous of her... If you have concentrated on yourself than trying to show Valentina's place then you might have been in a good position than her? Who knows? Anything might have happened.... But your jealous had eaten you up!" Xavier said making Rose take a deep breath.
