Her Husband is My Lover

They both just kept staring into each other's eyes and suddenly, George laughed out loud making Valentina frown at him.

"Valentine... How silly you are..." George said as he laughed out loud again making Valentine roll her eyes at him and she just stood there as she folds her hands on her chest and waited for him to get down with his laugh first.

But George looked at the serious Valentine and gulped down as he took a deep breath and looked at her.

"Are you done laughing?" Valentina asked as George took a deep breath.

"Valentina..." Valentina cut off George in mid-sentence as she raised her hand at him to stop.

"Stop." Valentina said as she frowned at him.

"You can say that whatever I am talking is a joke... Because you would never like to do something bad towards my dad. Right?" Valentina asked as she raised her eyebrows at him.

"Maybe..." George answered making Valentina from but she chuckles as she doesn't really understand this old man in front of her. 

"What do you really mean by maybe?" Valentina asked making George take a deep breath. He walked around toward her and looked at her.

"Why do you doubt on me in the first place, Valentina? And why did you Suddenly got this love on your day? And why do you want to know about stuff about your Dad when he never cared about you or loved you when he is alive?" George asked as he stood behind him with a smirk and Valentina surely knows how manipulative George can be... If one clue then he would find out every single detail from her... She knows how to play with George around but still, she has to be smarter in front of him than him... 

She smiled as she turned around towards him and looked at him with a big smile on her face.

"I am the daughter of Anthony Jackson who the world loves him the most and he did his best to this world that he could..." Valentina said and George raised his eyebrows at her.

"So?" George asked.

"When this world this talking good about him then why doesn't he love me? His own daughter?" Valentina asked making George chuckle.

"You are his daughter." George said as Valentina raised her eyebrows at him.

"Sure... But, I am sure that your mother had told you why your father has hated you the most right?" George asked making Valentine chuckle.

"And you think I am a fool to believe her words. Huh?" Valentina asked but George shook his head in no.

"No. You are not a fool. Seeing you like this, I can tell you that you are the intelligent girl ever in this world... But I really do think that you should believe whatever your mother has told you..." George said making Valentina frown as she doesn't understand the sentence about her intelligence which made her confuse with the tone he had used...

For a thought that, something has crossed her mind that, she has been lost in his world... Which he really meant but it was really clear about what he had just said. 

"Yes, because she is your mother. She would never lie to you... Not when she didn't get the love of her daughter all these years." George said making Valentin chuckle.

"Well, I am sure that it doesn't matter to you if I believe my mother or not. Right?" Valentina asked as she raised her eyebrows at him.

"It does... It does to me." George answered making Valentina raise her eyebrows at him.

"How and why?" Valentina asked.

"Because you are the daughter of my best friend. Who didn't got much love from her parents in her whole life!" George said as he chuckles that made Valentina anger but she had kept her anger in control and took a deep breath. 

"Yes... That best friend daughter that you never cared off... Neither looks after her... Neither tried to give her that love that she didn't get from her parents. Neither tried to help her when she is struggling with the same best friend's company. Right?" Valentina asked with a smile makes George's smile falls down from his face. 

"Umm... Umm..." George stuttered and coughed making Valentina chuckle.

Valentina granted the glass of water from the coffee table and passed towards George and he looked at her and she smiled as she forwarded the glass towards him but George took it from her and drank it. 

"What happened, Uncle George?" Valentina asked and George was about to answer when Valentina cut him off in mid-sentence.

"Ahh... Yes. It happens like this when someone remembers the bad stuff from their past... They think that we forget everything but only the people know how much it hurts them who went through it..." Valentina said making George look at her.

"Valentina..." George called and Valentina nodded her head in yes.

"Yes, Uncle George... Tell me?" Valentina asked.

"I don't mean what I said..." George answered making Valentina chuckle.

"Do you really think I will believe you so easily when I know that you were the one who wanted to sell my father's company as soon as he passed away?" Valentina asked.

"I already apologized for that... Didn't I? I know I was wrong at that time, I did want you both to save you... And I thought that was the only option... But..." George said and Valentina nodded her head in yes. 

"Yes... But, you never imagined that I can bought tha companies to these heights right?" Valentina asked and George took a deep breath as he nodded his head in yes making Valentina Chuckle.

"You know... That day, you failed as my father's best friend. That day you lost your value as his best friend. How much he had trusted you? Don't you know that?" Valentina asked and George looked away from her making her chuckle.

"Yes... Of course, you would do that. Because you were selfish enough to think that, because you have thought that, we might come in front of your House to beg you to look after us. Right?" Valentina asked making George sigh.
