Her Husband is My Lover

As soon as Rose closed the door behind her back with a thug sound... Valentina sighed and started thinking about what she told and for what she is about to tell and for what she is here to tell?

"Why did Xavier told that he loves me?" Valentina asked herself as she frowned. 

"Is something is going on behind my back that I am not aware of?" Valentina asked.

"How does he told her that he loves me? What was the situation that he got go have to tell her that he loves me?" Valentina asked. 

"I stopped her for now... But what if she tells to, Edward or George?" Valentina asked.

"This will mess up!" Valentina answered to herself.

"George wants and values his prestige, status more than anyone... If this comes out... He will do anything for Xavier... Xavier is already so under George... He is playing with Xavier a lot... I don't want to mess this up anymore... But why didn't Xavier told me about this yesterday?" Valentina asked.

"Is this why he wants to meet me tonight and want to talk about it?" Valentina asked as she sighed.

"It's going to be a long night then!" Valentina said as she took a deep breath and just then, a knock disturbed her thoughts.

"Yes... Come in!" Valentina said and Tania opened the door. 

"It was about time you join the meeting, Ms. Jackson!" Tania said and Valentina nodded her head in yes.

"Yeah..." Valentina replied as she walked out of the office and Tania followers her closing the door.

Tania opened the conference room door and Valentina walked inside the room.

Everyone got up from their chairs and greeted Valentina. She nodded her head and nodded her head to everyone to take their seats. 

Valentina explained about her ideas and the few other designers too... Everyone was talking about their ideas but as soon as Valentina explained her idea... And everyone agreed on it. They all started talking about other things while Valentina zoned out of the topic. 

She just started thinking about what's going to happen tonight when She meets Xavier... It's all making her so curious about what he is going to talk about... The main question, that is popping up in her mind always is, 'Why did Xavier marry Rose when he still loves her?' And if it's a force full marriage then 'why he is listening to gorge?' 

It's all making her confuse... She couldn't concentrate on anything! She was out of all these questions when Xavier came to her telling her that he wants her! And Valentina wanted him too and she was proud of herself that he came to her without her doing anything! She just did that because she was so blind to his love. 

From the start, Xavier respects his parents. He will do whatever George tells him to do! But from the day, Xavier took his companies in his hands... He uses to listen to George very little. And George didn't use to care too because Xavier is doing way more than good with his companies than him. So, it was all good... But... This is not what George tells to Xavier to do. 

If George forced Xavier for this weeding then why did he forced Xavier in the first place? Because George is much aware that he can get a better girl than Rose for Xavier as he already knows about Rose... But still, he married her with his son... 

All these are making Valentina frown and making her think about them twice as she is missing something here... The important things that know only George and Xavier! 

Valentina is sure that Xavier will never cheat his Father and tell her everything... He will never do that! 

He is so faithful to George... Their relationship is really different... They are not the usual Father and son... Valentina is sure that George doesn't love Xavier as his own son... He just looks after his son as a Robot who should work 24X7 for him and should bring his companies to the top position no matter what! 

Valentina sighed thinking about all these grabbing the attention of people around her.

"Ms. Jackson, don't you like the sketches?" The designer asked making Valentina raise her eyebrows.

"Huh? What?" Valentina asked as she looked at him.

"There... Sketches and illustrations!" The designer said as he pointed to the file that is in front of her.

"Ahhh..." Valentina said making Tania frown.

"Ms. Jackson, are you alright?" Tania whispered asked looking at her.

"Yeah... I am just... I don't know..." Valentina whispered back as she sighed.

"I will look after the meeting... Why don't you go back to your office... I will send you the report of the meeting later on!" Tania said making Valentina sigh.

"Are you sure you can handle it?" Valentina asked and Tania nodded her head with a smile.

"Yes... You might are just stressed out... I will postpone your next meeting... Just take a rest in your personal room in your office!" Tania answered.

"Ahh! Thank you! I guess... I am just stressed..." Valentina replied making Tania smile.

"I will give you a call when Edward Morgon is here..." Tania said and Valentina nodded her head.

Valentina got up from her chair making everyone turn towards her.

"You please continue the meeting without me... Tania will look after it!" Valentina said and everyone nodded their heads.

Valentina walked out of the conference room to her office.

She closed the door behind her back and walked straight to her personal room. 

She got on the bed and kept looking at the busy city view from the glass window.

And the thing that came to her mind again was Xavier.

"Why did he do that?" Valentina asked herself again.

"Damn... This is eating me.. I want to know what is the secrets that he holding him back!" Valentina said as she sighed.

"I might get any information from Edward indirectly by keeping him in talks..." Valentina said.

"I don't know what he is coming to meet me? What might he wants from me?" Valentina asked as she sighed.

"I don't know what's wrong with these people... It seems like, everyone is behaving oddly!" Valentina said as she sighed.

She grabbed her phone and dialed her personal investigator.

He answered her calls in 2 rings.

"Hello, Ms. Jackson." The investigator said on the phone.

"Did you found out anything?" Valentina asked.

"No, Ms. Jackson... It seems like everything is going well... But George is visiting Edward more often while Rose is hanging out with hee friends... And Mr. Xavier is in his company!" The investigator said making Valentina sigh.

"But, Ms. Jackson..." The investigator said making Valentina raise her eyebrows.

"I have got few clues... But sure if they are true or not... But it seems like something is going on between George and Edward... They do talk a lot... On phone and meet regularly in person!" The investigator said.

"What clue it is about?" Valentina asked. 

"It's behind Mr. Xavier and Rose's forceful wedding! It just decided exactly 5 days before the wedding!" The investigator said making Valentina frown.

"What?" Valentina asked.

"Yeah... It's so sudden for Mr. Xavier too... He really doesn't know about the weddings and is accepted because of his father. I still didn't get to know why though!" The investigator answered.

"So you are saying that Xavier is innocent?" Valentina asked.

"Yes. He is!" The investigator answered making Valentina sigh.

"I... I..." Valentina stuttered.

"I will call you later, Ms. Jackson..." The investigator said as he got to know that she needs time to digest everything. He ended the call and Valentina kept her phone away as a tear falls down from her eyes.

"Why won't he just be honest with me and tell me what is going on? I would try to help him out my best!" Valentina said as more tears fall down from her eyes.

"Is he a fool? I guess... He is! But how can he be so innocent?" Valentina asked herself as she wiped away her tears away from her eyes. 

"His biggest fear is George... I just want to kill this man... He always tries to make our lives a living hell... Not only our lives but my companies too... I don't understand why he is doing all these..." Valentina said as she sighed.

"Can't he be a little greedy?" Valentina asked as she closed her eyes.

"This needs to sort out soon... Or else... There are going to be a lot of misunderstandings and more immature things will go on... I should have known that, My Xavier is all innocent... I was sure from the start that Xavier would never do something that will hurt me... But, circumstances made me do it for him... And I will soon find out what he is going through!" Valentina said as she sighed. 

She covered herself with the comforter and closed her window blinds so that room can be dark. She closed her eyes and drift off to sleep.
