Game Lord's Cultivation System

66 Thirst Meter

As Yuan Chunhua continued to relay the other students’ plan on targeting him, Jiang Ming accidentally yawned aloud.

Who could blame him though?

The so-called scheming from those students is like a child trying to fight an adult in a fistfight.

Only one word can describe their action- irrelevant.

Alas, Yuan Chunhua had no knowledge of Jiang Ming’s capability since she was still in the belief that Jiang Ming’s talent is complete garbage.

“Are you seriously yawning when I’m trying to give you a word of advice?” Yuan Chunhua’s brow wrinkled together as her face turned red from anger.

Her blood was boiling into a melting point when she saw his nonchalant attitude toward the situation.

“The examination is filled with dangers in every corner, and you’ll only need one mishap to forfeit your life.” She added.

“I get your kindness, Instructor Yuan Chunhua.” Jiang Ming said calmly. “But I do hope that you can have more trust in me. You’ll be surprised by my actions in the upcoming examination.”

Seeing his determined look, Yuan Chunhua could only shake her head..

She had tried her best to give him some warnings and it was his choice to listen or not.

“I’ll meet you back in the academy in two days, and you better not have any absences.” Yuan Chunhua gave her final wording before leaving the house.

Sometime later, Jiang Ming crossed his legs and snapped his finger.

A gust of wind was created as it swept the debris on the floor to a corner.

‘Just why did she have to destroy my table?’ Jiang Ming sighed inwardly.

Although he didn’t mind her behavior, he was still a bit distraught over the furniture being ruined.

Meanwhile, Qi Shan came down from the 2nd floor and smiled amusingly at Jiang Ming.

“How does it feel to be underestimated every time now?” She asked in humor.

“Being underestimated is better than being overestimated.” Jiang Ming swiftly replied.

Qi Shan was dumbfounded by his swift response since she wasn’t familiar with the minds of a human.

She casually took a seat next to Jiang Ming and pondered over his meaning.

“Why do you want to be underestimated?” Qi Shan asked when she couldn’t come up with an answer.

“If you are always being underestimated, then wouldn’t those pests and annoying people continue to pester you?”

“This is why we are hard to interact with, Qi Shan. Unlike you who is born powerful and can literally slaughter millions with a snap of a finger, people like me could only survive through scheming.”

“Scheming? Oh please, you are just a camping bitch that waits till the last second to strike. You ain’t got the brain cell to scheme anything.”

“…”

Jiang Ming twitched his mouth slightly when Qi Shan straight up exposed him.

Fidgeting his finger, Jiang Ming slowly tried to move away from Qi Shan.

All of his dark histories are literally like a file being kept in Qi Shan’s mind.

There was no escaping it if she ever decided to expose each and every single one of his deeds.

“Come back here, Jiang Ming.” Qi Shan flashed a fierce glint at Jiang Ming.

She waved her finger around, acting like an incarnation of the devil.

Jiang Ming swallowed some of his saliva nervously.

Trauma from the past flashed by his eyes as he knew what her action meant.

‘She definitely wants to do something evil again…’ Jiang Ming thought.

No matter how unwilling he is, he had no choice but to go back to her side.

Sitting next to her, he could feel her soft and smooth legs touching him, but there wasn’t any feeling of lust rising up.

“W-What do you want now?” Jiang Ming stutteringly asked, hoping that she wasn’t planning to do something malicious again.

Meanwhile, Qi Shan held a gentle smile as she wrapped her legs around his thigh.

Afterward, she placed her hand around his chest and whispered sweetly, “The examination that Yuan Chunhua had mentioned… I want to take part in it as well.”

‘As expected… this bitch really wants to massacre the entire people to satisfy her thirst’

When Cultivation Omega was created, Qi Shan was a person that was programmed to kill whenever her thirst meter reached the maximum.

The thirst meter was just an indicator that she wanted excitement and thrill.

And what could bring her excitement and thrill besides killing a bunch of people, filling the lands with blood and dismembered limbs.

“Has your thirst meter reached the maximum?” Jiang Ming asked in a dry throat.

Qi Shan calmly nodded her head.

“Why are you looking so sullen, Jiang Ming? Weren’t you always the most excited one when my thirst meter reached the maximum?” She asked in a daze.

“I recall you praising me every second when that occurred.” She added.

‘That was because it helped my achievement in the Player-Killing to increase faster. And the loot those rich players drop is so goddamn juicy.’ Jiang Ming screamed inwardly.

As much as he wanted to yell those aloud, he knew he would be simply digging his own grave by uttering those.

Time slowly passed by, and Qi Shan was calmly waiting for an answer from Jiang Ming.

The seconds felt like nothing to Qi Shan, but for Jiang Ming, each second was like a ticking bomb, ready to explode at any moment.

Things are no longer the same as Cultivation Omega.

The people Qi Shan slaughter are players that could respawn in 24 hours, but the people in this current world would die.

Jiang Ming could easily tell their lives in the Northern Continent would be over if Qi Shan’s massacre were to be known by others.

After all, they would be offending many people, and some students in the academy have some powerful backing.

Hidden dragons are always disguised in the crowd, and Jiang Ming did not want to provoke them until his cultivation base increased further.

“I reject your request, and that’s final.” Jiang Ming shouted aloud and instantly dashed toward the exit.
