Game Lord's Cultivation System

228 I’m such a good person

The Ice Dragon glared at Jiang Ming for a few minutes before making a snorting sound.

“Hmph, what do you want?”

“First of all, I still haven’t learned your name yet…” Jiang Ming trailed off while giving a meaningful look at him.

Being given that kind of look, the Ice Dragon was unwilling to give his name out. However, when he recalled the Gamer’s Cube in Jiang Ming’s hand, he could only comply for now until he had further information.

“You puny human referred to me as Tarragon,” The Ice Dragon, Tarragon replied arrogantly.

And he continued, “Though I don’t know how many years have passed, you puny humans should have heard of my destructive deed. Those foolish so-called cultivators actually dared to have ideas about my body to create weapons.”

When he finished saying that, Jiang Ming had an odd expression hanging on his face, most likely because he recalled his past doing the same thing.

‘Tsk, whose fault is it to make the dragon’s scale extremely tough and valuable? I was merely playing a game so I hold no responsibility.’ Jiang Ming thought to himself, hoping to justify his past actions.

Sometime later, the conversation started to begin smoothly between the two as they exchanged equivalent information with each other.

ραndαsΝοvεl ƈοm Of course, the information they got on whether it could be trusted or not is hard to determine.

“Anyway, you have already disturbed my slumber, so you can hurry up and leave,” Tarragon snorted and flapped its majestic wings, creating a powerful wind current.

One reason for doing that is so he could vent his anger a bit while not going overboard. The Gamer’s Cube still posed some threat to him, especially when he knew who was the creator of the cube.

Jiang Ming also knew Tarragon was being a petty bitch, but there was nothing he could do about it. After all, even he would throw a fit against someone when a stranger woke him up from his sleep.

“Ahem, I apologize for disturbing your sleep, but that was because I had no other choice.” Jiang Ming shrugged his shoulders and explained his circumstances.

“I have fallen here due to some phenomenon and have no way out of here. Hence, if you can kindly guide me on an escape path, then we shall never meet again.”

“And why should I help you?” Tarragon raised its eyes and smirked. “Whether you are stuck here permanently or not has nothing to do with me.”

“You-“

“Don’t interrupt me yet, human. I can already sense you have three other companions beside you…” Tarragon was about to continue his words until he realized something.

“Hmm, it seems like there are more people that have intruded on my domain besides those three women.”

He then gave Jiang Ming a stare, seemingly asking for an answer without speaking up.

Seeing that, Jiang Ming could only explain the origin of those people and was about to say that he absolutely had no relationship with them before realization struck him.

Jiang Ming quickly recomposed himself as he curled his lips upward.

With a wicked grin, “Tarragon, didn’t you say you have slumbered for a long time? I bet you haven’t had a good meal in a long time. It just so happens that I’m willing to offer those people as sacrifices for you to strengthen our relationship.”

“Oh? I didn’t think you were this despicable. To offer live humans as sacrifices for a dragon.” Tarragon replied sarcastically.

“Those people are merely acquaintances made at the last minute, so why would I feel any guilt?” Jiang Ming chuckled softly, lying through his teeth like it was nothing.

Since those people he spoke of consisted of the likes of Di Tianluo, he would be considered doing the world a “charity” by sacrificing them for the greater good.

‘I’m such a good person.’

Tarragon no longer replied to him and kept silent.

Instead, he threw a ragged scroll that showed a marked path, indicating that he agreed on accepting those people as sacrifices.

Jiang Ming nodded his head and calmly picked up the ragged scroll while feeling joy inside. Two birds in one arrow were always the best feeling.

Not only did he finally obtain a path of escape, but he also annihilated his future enemies without lifting a finger.

If Di Tianluo were to ever know that his fate had been sealed by this one-sided deal, then he might have vomited blood that could fill an entire plot of land.

Although it was a bit regretful that Jiang Ming couldn’t increase his relationship with Tarragon further, it was still better than nothing. At least, they could be considered acquainted and had a conversation before.

‘Sigh, the Gamer’s Cube is truly a great reward,’ He stored the cube back into his body while bidding farewell. Some matters could not be forced and could only be improved naturally.

Thus, he wouldn’t go all his way to bootlick Tarragon and would rather leave it to destiny.

By the time Jiang Ming’s presence could no longer be seen, Tarragon’s eyes made a glint as he used his claw to create a spatial portal effortlessly.

Passing through the spatial portal, it doesn’t take a genius to know where Tarragon’s destination was.

15 minutes later, Jiang Ming returned back to the group with a cheeky smile on his face.

“Yuan Chunhua, it’s time to leave this godforsaken place,” He said confidently.

Yuan Chunhua was dazed at first before showing a surprised expression.

“You found a way out of here?” She asked in a dumbfounded tone. Clearly, she wasn’t that hopeful of leaving this place at all.

However, she then pointed at the path ahead and asked, “What about this cold temperature? How are we supposed to repel it if we can’t utilize our spiritual qi?”

“No need to worry about the cold temperature.” Jiang Ming waved his hand and said mysteriously, not willing to reveal anything else.

‘With Tarragon busy preying on those fools, he would naturally not be in his habitat, so why would there be any coldness lingering?’ He laughed inwardly.
