Gacha Sovereign

Chapter 959 Reasons

Alex looked at how the two girls left him and noticed the letter on the ground.

'Still, why the heck they wrote a letter to a blind girl?' Alex shook his head helplessly and reached out the letter, reading it.

"Master Nyx. When I looked at you with my own eyes, I realized that you were not a normal person. And seeing my daughter's progress truly made me believe that. However, I would like to request your help. I would pay anything for this, and my son gave me the information about his current situation.

"According to him, he is hiding inside a cave with the Eternal Ice Flower in it. There is a Rank 9 God Beast protecting that place, so he couldn't do anything right now. I would like to make a deal with you. Please save my son with the exchange of this flower information. In addition, I will give you anything you want because I know that is not enough. But please, save my son first."

Alex fell silent, realizing that the letter was actually for him. Aria's father knew that Aria couldn't read the letter, so he sent the letter to someone who could read it. He knew that Alex was mysterious and there might be a chance of him saving Adrian, so he directly asked him in this letter.

If not because Aria had learned the Sword Eye, she wouldn't know about the content of this letter.

"Seriously…" Alex scratched the back of his head. "What am I meant to do? This family…Haiz."

Alex burned the letter and sighed while waiting for Aria to come back.

As soon as she returned with the name, Aria immediately reported to Alex.

"Her name is Perone Grata. The Grata Family doesn't seem to be that well-known on the other continent. From what I know, they can't be compared to the Luzear Family. Even so, there were still a few God Rank Experts in that family, so I guess I could understand where her arrogance came from."

Alex furrowed his eyebrows before nodding. "I understand. I will handle the rest. You can go back to your training first."

"When are we leaving?" Aria asked with a worried expression.

"Tomorrow morning. We need to handle a few things first, so not only can we save your brother, we can deal with the entire problem."

"I understand." Although she felt bad about the current decision, she had no other choice. Alex already agreed to this unreasonable request of her, so she could only follow his command.

Suddenly, Alex looked up, finding a bird that flew down and perched on Aria's shoulder.

She traced the bird with her Spiritual Energy and found the letter. Just like before, the family must think that Alex would be the one reading it, but she had learned the Sword Eye.

However, Aria read it herself before looking at Alex. "According to my brother, the situation is pretty good. Although the Eternal Ice Flower is freezing him, he should be able to last for a week before getting frozen."

Her expression told him how happy she was because of the information.

"Yeah, yeah. For now, go back to your training. I will handle the rest." Alex nodded while waving his hands.

"Yes." She nodded with a serious expression.

Alex wanted to ask her for the letter again but hesitated. That was why he changed the question a little bit. "Is the letter directed to me?"

"Ye-yes." She looked down and handed the letter to him. "I just thought that you wouldn't need to handle it because I was afraid that you wouldn't like the tone of my father. He was so desperate."

Alex nodded in understanding and read the letter.

"Adrian's condition is normal right now, albeit the people are searching for him, so he can't go out at the moment. Because of the Ice Energy coming from the Eternal Ice Flower, he might become a frozen statue in seven days. That's why, please help him. I beg you. Even if you want me as your slave, I will do it."

Alex twitched his eyebrows and looked at Aria.

Aria didn't dare to look at him. She knew how bad the letter was, but she presented it in a cheerful way. Little did he know the reason she acted that way was due to his strength.

She believed that as long as Alex made a move, seven days wouldn't be a challenge at all.

Alex sighed and turned around. "I will be preparing myself. For this…You owe me one."

"Y-yes." She repeatedly nodded.

He returned to his room and used the Teleportation Array to go to Silvia.

The latter surprisingly was waiting for him in the very room.

"You have come." She smiled. "Do you have any information regarding the attackers?"

"Yes. Perone Grata from Grata Family. The strength is unknown, but they shouldn't have a Rank 5 God. No, they are far lower than that, so maybe they only have Rank 7 or Rank 8 God as their strongest fighter." Alex speculated.

"I see. That will be easy then. I have contacted Navin for this, and he is checking it right now. Don't worry. I will be dealing with everything inside the sect. I am sure the sect master can understand me." She smiled.

"But there is still a rule, right? Or do you plan to kill them inside the sect?"

"Of course not. I am asking him to hold on for a moment. When we have managed to kill them while leaving one or two people, so they could shift the blame, I will use the information regarding their young miss to make them leave the sect. That's where he will kill them." She explained the plan.

"I see." Alex nodded with a serious expression. "I have another concern. Does she have another family member in this sect?"

"I am not sure. Navin will finish the investigation by today, so we will see. Even so, they wouldn't dare to do anything to me because I am a Rank 5 God and my father is a God King." She shrugged. "Unlike you who can't afford to have your identity known, I am not afraid."

"Thanks."

"No need to say thanks. I am doing it because I want to do it and a part of the payment for the training technique. Besides, I actually want you to save her as her friend. So, all good."

Alex nodded. "Are you really going with us?"

"Yeah. You are not going to chase me out, right?"

"No. You have the right for it." Alex shook his head.

"Good. Then let's go outside. I have gotten the information about the Grayfig Family member here, considering the one who holds the record is this peak's peak master. Since he owes me from curing his wound, I get to know the information about him easily." She pointed at the hole on the ceiling, inviting him to her house.

Alex nodded and followed her to the house.

"Sit on the bed. I am going to prepare the needles and equipment to change your face and hair color. Besides, you need to change your clothes too."

Alex looked at the bed and sat on it, looking at Silvia, who was taking out a few stuff from her Space Ring.

"May I know something?"

"Sure. You don't need to be that formal."

"When did you find that Navin? What happened at that time?" Alex asked.

"Ara." She covered her mouth slyly and teased him. "Jealous?"

"Not at all." Alex shook his head. "You should know that he suddenly attacked me, right? Even though he had a reason, I simply had no idea about that. And it was even worse when I was trying to save a world back then."

"Really? Did he attack you at that time? What happened? I am curious now. How about if I answer you, you tell me the story?"

"Sure."

"Alright. I will go first then." She nodded. "A few years ago, specifically when we were going around with our spaceship, we found a masked man. My Father told me he was an extraordinary person, and I needed to watch out if we met again since that man immediately ran away with his Teleportation Array.

"Wait a minute…You have the Space Element…Don't tell me…" She twitched her eyebrows, never expecting to see the situation was actually like this.

"Yeah. I was the masked man you saw." Alex nodded. "After that, I learned that you were the Palm God and his daughter."

"From Lady Lin Xingzhi?"

"Yes."

"I see." She facepalmed while sighing. "Anyway, after that, we met another person again—chased by a few God Rank Experts. When my father saw that the man was actually a Time Element user, he helped him. I am sure you understand why, right?"

"Father-in-law?" Alex asked.

"Yes. The Time God truly revolutionized the entire universe's view about Time Element. The Time Element users, although scarce, were strong. In my father's perspective, it was worth it to save someone having that power since he would be useful in the future, whether we talked about their power or influence.

"To our surprise, the man actually had no background or whatsoever, so my father asked him to be his disciple, and he accepted. Maybe he wanted to use my father's identity for protection…Either way, there was nothing wrong with that.

"Not long after that meeting, he told us that the universe was on its death door unless they did something to prevent it from destruction. My father couldn't believe that at first, but when he learned that he had met someone with the same appearance as that of a Spirit God, he instantly believed and linked everything to your death and the beast.

"That was why he made the decision for me to wait for you here. Navin was there because he had two purposes. It was to search for someone I believed to be his loved one…Maybe his lover or something that may or may not have reincarnated and helped me recognize you. He said his eyes could differentiate someone unique such as you.

"My father believed that, and here I am." She ended the explanation with a smile.

Alex closed his eyes for a second, swallowing all this information. After two minutes, he nodded and opened his mouth. "Then, this time is my side of the story. You should know there is a Divine World called the Monster World near the Upper World that I used to live in, right?"

"Yes. Unfortunately, neither I and my father could visit that Upper World, leaving my father frustrated."

"That world actually had linked up with the Monster World in the past. My previous life had helped that world once and reduced the world to a mere Upper World from a Divine World."

"What?!" She opened her mouth in surprise. "No, I should say as expected from the Spirit God. Even my father couldn't turn a Divine World into an Upper World."

"I don't know how to do that as well." Alex shrugged. "I am a different person, so…"

"Don't worry. I am interested in you as well because you are peculiar."

"Anyway, the two worlds linked up again, causing a huge Space Disturbance. The only way to stop this was to use the remaining power stored for a long time to create another layer of protection, closed the portal and erased any markings that could be used to trace and link the world.

"And when I was about to enter the place where we could do that, he suddenly appeared and attacked me. I fought a bloody battle that time, even though I almost never got huge injuries during all the fights I had experienced in that Upper World.

"Because he saw the situation turning around to my advantage, he decided to leave that world. And I needed to recover my power on the way, making me very exhausted. Well, I didn't deny that the fight really helped me to advance my power to another level." Alex shrugged.

"That's a nice story." She nodded before placing all the equipment on the table and dragging it toward the bed. She took out her needles and said, "Alright. Time to change your appearance."
