Gacha Sovereign

Chapter 919 Ugh

Speechless.

The girl was speechless. She had gathered enough points to buy a single medicinal herb to make a pill out of them, but the two men behind him also helped her in the process. However, the woman in front of her was able to buy two of them?

This was insane.

How could a lowly girl like her be able to gather enough points like that?

Unfortunately, Aria had no intention of dealing with this girl. She simply let go and bought the two other herbs since Alex had given her the instruction to not buy the others wanted, so he gave four medicinal herbs that he wanted to buy.

After the transaction was completed, she then thought for a moment. She might be able to return to the cave right now and buy other things a few days later, so without further ado, she nodded her head politely. "Thank you."

"No problem. It's rare to see someone who can fork out so many points in one go, especially on the fourth day." The clerk smiled.

"No, no. It's not my effort alone." She shook her head.

"Is that so?" The elder only smiled, not buying her words. The reason for that was due to the fact that the points inside the token couldn't be transferred to another token unless an elder helped them. There was only him in this town and that old man in the first test's exit.

The old man might help her, but it made him believe that this girl had huge potential because that elder wouldn't act this kind if he didn't see the potential.

If he didn't help this girl, that means the girl managed to kill so many monsters in four days. This possibility would be more insane because the girls could simply steal others' tokens in the first scenario, which was faster.

Whatever the case, there would be a huge talent coming to the sect, so it was good.

"Good luck in your cultivation, girl." He waved his hand.

"Thank you." Aria nodded, ignoring the three stunned people behind her. She remembered their faces first and planned to inform Alex about this as they might try to disturb them in the future.

She then walked toward the center of the city and used the Teleportation Array to move toward the cave before entering.

Not long after, Alex found her coming, so he grabbed her hand to show his position. 'This is me.'

'Ah, Nyx. I have bought two herbs for you. However, there was an accident before that.'

'An accident?'

'Yes. There was a group that wanted to buy the same herb, so I immediately let the herb go and buy the others.'

'Ehm… Don't tell me you bought it just like that? I mean before they even bought them yet?' He asked.

'Yes. Is there a problem?' She tilted her head.

'How many people have you actually conversed in your whole life?' Alex was confused. It was practically a slap in their face at this point, and they would surely come back to haunt them if they were petty people.

'Not many? I have been cultivating this whole time, and because of my limitation, I haven't really interacted with people. Even when I was hunting monsters, the group was practically the same. Is that a problem?'

'Then tell me how they acted?' He asked.

Aria started explaining the whole accident without hiding anything as if nothing was wrong.

'Haiz. No wonder. I don't mean to be rude. Maybe because of your personality and disability, you have become a good and humble person. But how about this? You want to flaunt your wealth and status in front of a person, but it turns out that the person in front of you is actually richer and more prestigious?'

'Ah?! I will feel uncomfortable.' She looked down, finally realized what she had done wrong. She should go out first and wait for the group to leave before buying the herbs. Looking down on her? She practically didn't mind that. 'I am sorry.'

'Never mind. Since you have told me this early, I will know in case something happens. It's not like I can change anything anyway.' He let out a long sigh.

'But because it would be suspicious to buy more, I only bought your herbs and decided to buy my shares a few days later.'

Alex thought it was not that different because the elder in front of the cave would know, but she must think that since he had practically shown himself to that person, it was fine to see her going back and forth there. Besides, they could go toward the third test immediately from the Teleportation Array in the city, so they wouldn't meet the old man again.

'Well, it's fine, I guess.' Alex nodded. 'Anyway, let's go to that hidden cave and train there. There shouldn't be many guests there.'

'I understand.'

The two then made their way toward the cave while making sure that no one noticed them. When they arrived, the sword spirit looked at them with a weird face.

"Why are you two coming back here?" He was taken aback since they should be hunting instead of going to the Sword Cave. "Is it because you miss me?"

"We just want a place to cultivate here." Alex shrugged. "Besides, since you are the source and the one controlling the energy around here, the energy is more concentrated in this place."

"So, you want to increase your Sword Qi?"

"To put it bluntly, yes." Alex nodded.

"Well, it's not like I have any problem with it. You can absorb or train here." He shrugged. "It has been a few hundred times we are doing this, and only a few manage to find this place, it's not like we are going to have another guest this year."

"That's a flag, you know." Alex glanced at him.

"Tried to say it every time we hold an enrollment like this, and you will grow numb to it when you only get two people every one hundred events. Do you still think it's a flag? And you are talking like that hateful man, so can you stop it…" The sword spirit must be talking about the Dungeon God.

"…" Alex listened to him and couldn't help but say, "My condolences."

"Anyway, if you want to train here, you may train here. I want to see how monstrous the current you are." He grinned. "That's right. How old are you right now?"

Alex fell silent this time as talking to him was different from talking to Aria. The latter didn't know that the difference in time existed between worlds, so his age should be less than half of what she knew.

"And don't you dare to lie, I know that the gate outside can't really convert your true age."

Alex shrugged. "I don't want to lie, so I will just stay quiet about it."

"Hmph! As expected, you are a hateful fellow." He snorted. "Well, I have seen your strength, and I am sure you can reach Rank 3 Sword Qi in this cave. It shouldn't be hard for you. As for the girl… Just refine your energy even further since you have reached Rank 8 Sword Qi."

Alex nodded and went toward the corner before sitting in a lotus pose and closing his eyes, beginning his cultivation.

Aria was dumbfounded when she realized there was a time difference between worlds and wondered what his true age was compared to her. If the world actually had one hundred hours a day, the difference in their age wouldn't be that great.

If it were the opposite, it would show how monstrous Alexander was. Either way, she believed it was better to not know about it and put the thought in the corner of her mind.

The two started absorbing the Sword Qi around the area, but Alex also gathered the Spear Qi to nourish it as well.

Meanwhile, the sword spirit kept looking at Alex to check his strength and only shook his head. 'Since he is coming here, it seems my lord will be overjoyed. I wonder if they are going to fight again this time…'

The training lasted three days before Alex decided to go with her to the town this time, slipping past the elder using his Space Gate. Of course, he sent Aria away first, else she would know this trump card.

After another hour, they finally met again.

"Let's go to the town."

"I understand." Aria nodded as she activated the Teleportation Array.

When they arrived, the town had become busier than ever. Many people stuck around as they tried to buy anything possible to boost their strength. Meanwhile, Alex and Aria still had two hundred and forty thousand points in total. Since they needed to set aside sixty thousand points, they still had one hundred and eighty thousand to spend.

Aria led him to the town's shop, where they met the same elder.

"Hmm?! To think I will meet you again." The elder smirked.

Alex narrowed his eyes and checked his cultivation. 'Rank 5 God, huh.'

It wasn't as powerful as the old man in the first exit, but it wasn't that far.

"I have returned, Elder. I would like to purchase another thing or two." She nodded.

He then looked at the masked guy behind her, he realized the reason she could bring back that many points. Although he had seen plenty of Martial Saints, especially 1-Star Martial Saints, this masked man was cut above the rest.

He even wondered which one was the leader. Was it the woman or was it the man? since the woman was the one handling everything?

"What do you want to buy?" He smiled

"A weapon."

"The only stocks are those in the corner over there. Let me show you then." He smiled and led them to the corner of the shop where they found various weapons.

Alex observed the elder carefully. On one hand, the elder needed to accompany them, or the weapons here might be snatched when he wasn't looking. On the other hand, he must want to check the capability of the two of them.

When Alex looked at the weapons, he noticed the difference between them, which was reflected in their prices. He saw a few strong ones, but the final decision was on Aria's hand, so he only waited for her to finish her assessment.

Aria was troubled by this because she couldn't see. The only thing she checked was the aura that the sword gave, allowing her to see the length and the energy contained in it.

"Elder… May I touch the swords?" She asked.

"Touch the swords? I am afraid I can't let you do that unless you buy it." The elder shook her head, not knowing the real reason.

"Haiz…" She let out a long sigh.

She then found a good sword that had a shape similar to her own. The energy was also more bountiful than the others as she asked, "How much is that sword?"

"Hmm? You can see it yourself, it's eighty thousand… Wait, you can't, no, you are blind?" The elder suddenly realized and gasped. "Wait, how do you know about the medicinal herbs a few days ago?"

"The two herbs have a unique energy and match the description for their own energy. After examining their shape with my Spiritual Energy, I know that the two were the ones I was searching for." She answered with an innocent tone.

"…" The elder's face was dumbstruck. He never saw someone like this. To have that kind of sensitivity at this age was something amazing.

"Haiz…" Alex scratched the back of his head as he picked up a sword and gave it to her. "This one is better."

"Eh?!" She tilted her head in confusion.

"The one you chose earlier has only neutral energy while this one has Lightning Energy. It suits your element perfectly. The difference is little, but if you train enough, you should be able to differentiate them in the future." Alex explained the reason. "It might be a bit hard to control it while using Sword Qi, but it will give you more strength than the neutral one."

"Uhm… Thank you."

"And this one is for your brother." Alex handed her another weapon, which contained a water element.
