Gacha Sovereign

Chapter 317 Advice

"So good luck," Maxwell said casually as he looked at his sphere that was full of dead bodies. He dried the blood and transported them to him.

"Well. With this much blood, I should be able to make a rank 5 barrier type array. Well, with their combined blood, I should be able to push it to the limit and make a rank 6 barrier type array."

Maxwell then dispersed the blood toward four directions and shaped them nicely. Of course, they did not know what kind of symbols he made, but by watching him alone, it was enough to mesmerize them.

Alex also watched him, but it seemed that he was in the right direction as the way Maxwell made the array was the same as how he made it. Except, he was not strong enough to perform like this.

After finishing the array in a few seconds, Maxwell then looked toward the people from Heavenly Sword Sect. His eyes presented a dangerous glint.

"Master?" Alex looked at Maxwell, a bit worried. He did not know what Maxwell wanted to do.

But before Maxwell did anything, he suddenly turned his head to his left.

"Two, why don't you show yourself to us?" Maxwell said casually.

However, they did not show themselves even though Maxwell already sensed them.

Seeing there was no reaction, Maxwell then threatened them, "If you do not come out now, then do not blame me for forcing you."

Two people then appeared. They were a familiar figure to Alex and Song Yu but not to anyone else.

"Senior, we-!" The blonde hair beauty wanted to explain, but Maxwell cut her in with a cold tone, "Hmm... A Martial Lord and a Peak Martial King. I do not remember there would be a peak Martial King on this continent. So, where do you come from?"

But Song Yu suddenly appeared in front of them as her forehead had been sweating when she saw Song Jia and Sana. "Senior, These two are my younger sister and her bodyguard. I am asking them to help us to deal with the situation. I never thought Senior would be the one who dealt with them."

"And, are you disappointed now since I have solved the problem?"

"No, This junior does not dare." Song Yu said.

"But, if I remember, unless there is a continental war, people from other continents should not come to this continent. So, where do you come from? Northern Continent? Or… Nilis Continent?" He asked with a trace of killing intent.

"We are from the Northern Continent… Northern Continent's Blackwade clan. My name is Song Yu, and because of several incidents, I could only flee to this continent for the time being."

"Blackwade Clan…" Maxwell murmured. He felt like he had heard this name from somewhere.

"!!!"

He suddenly remembered. When he remembered, he laughed loudly.

"Hahaha… Blackwade Clan… There is certainly a clan like that in the Heavenly Continent, not the Northern Continent. Are you lying to me, girl?" Maxwell narrowed his eyes.

Even Alex was surprised by this. He knew if he wanted to ascend, he would need to come to Heavenly Continent first. It turned out Song Yu's background was bigger than he thought.

"We…" Song Yu was hesitant about explaining her family.

"You do not need to tell me. But I will tell you something." He glanced at Song Yu and Song Jia. "If you are truly from the Blackwade clan, then you might want to heed my advice. Whatever your family condition or what you need to sacrifice, make sure you follow my disciple to the end even if it means the extermination of your family."

Song Yu, Song Jia, and Sana dropped their jaws. They obviously could not understand what kind of advice was that. Especially Song Yu, since she was the one who knew Alex the most out of them, she knew Alex was indeed a genius. But even her, might not get that kind of treatment.

In fact, her family might choose to sacrifice her rather than letting the family get destroyed. She could not understand the reason why he said that.

"I am not taking advantage of my position as this is only my advice. But when the truth comes to light, you will not regret following this advice." Maxwell said mysteriously.

"Truth?" Song Yu and Song Jia looked at each other, trying to recall if there were any clues for that. But nothing came to their mind.

Maxwell then made another array on his hand. And he suddenly frowned, "Hmm… why can I sense many Martial Kings in this continent?"

Anna immediately sent a thought transmission to him. "They are searching for Alex. You need to send them back."

Maxwell was startled when he heard this voice. He looked at a woman figure behind Alex. As a god for more than a thousand years, he knew her existence. And he absolutely knew her relationship with Alex.

He only nodded to her. Although he did not know anything about why they were searching for Alex, he thought he should send them back. But before that…

Maxwell finally looked at the people from Heavenly Sword Sect. "Hmm… what should I do about this."

The people from Heavenly Sword Sect gulped down. They had seen what kind of fate if they opposed him. They never thought Alex had a master like this. After dealing with many things, it was their turn to be judged.

Maxwell then looked at the Martial King from Heavenly Sword Sect. "Since you are the only Martial King, you should be the sect master, right?"

"Yes. This junior is Xiang Bai."

"Hmm… I will pick one more then." Maxwell then scanned a few more people and pointed his finger toward an old man whose power was only second to the sect master. "You."

It was the first elder. He was shocked to get selected as he did not know what Maxwell would do to them. He flew closer to him and said, "This junior is the first elder from Heavenly Sword Sect, Alejandro. May I know what Senior want this junior to do?"

Maxwell did not answer him. Instead, he looked at a woman. She was the only one who got injured in this situation as Alex had summoned him before any more casualties.

When Maxwell looked at her, Alex immediately came to him. "Master, I have been in her care ever since I joined this sect."

When Maxwell heard that, he nodded. He changed his intention to her. He pointed his finger on her, and there seemed to be a stream of light that flew toward her. It came inside her head. Charya suddenly closed her eyes and let out a weak groan.

"Master?" Alex was confused.

Maxwell only said, "Don't worry."

And after a minute, Charya opened her eyes and bowed to him. "Thank you very much, Senior."

"Since you have taken care of my disciple this whole time, I also need to reward you," Maxwell said. "Alright. Since there is no other problem, it is time to seal all of your memory about this incident."

Everyone was startled when they heard that.

"Master…" Alex called him. He paused a little before saying, "There is another thing I need to do first."

"Oh?" Maxwell was astonished. "Go on."

Alex nodded his head. He took out a spear from his inventory and clenched it tightly. No one knew why Alex suddenly took out a spear. However, when they saw Alex made a throwing motion, they could clearly see which direction he wanted to throw his spear.

"Spear Throwing Art. Spin Throwing!"

Alex threw his spear. His target was obvious. The only crippled in the arena, Eric Kasmanan. Alex thought about using this situation to kill him and end this problem as soon as possible. After all, Eric might do something again to him, like before, where he alarmed the enemy to show his position.

"Bast-!" Eric wanted to curse him, but before he managed to do so. The spear had pierced through his head and killed him.

"Is there any problem with that?" Maxwell asked the people with a cold tone.

Of course, no one dared to complain. After all, they knew how powerful Maxwell was, and they knew why Alex wanted to kill him.

Maxwell then clapped his hand once before many arrays appeared together at once. They appeared in front of everyone's head. When the array was activated, the people suddenly had a blank look. Maxwell just sealed their memory with his array.

There were only a few people that did not get their memory sealed. They were the sect master, the first elder, Charya, Song Yu, and Song Jia, as well as Sana. Even Putri and Evelyn did not escape from this. Of course, Alex and Anna kept their memory. If not, Maxwell would get beaten by a certain person.

"For those whose memory is not sealed, I want all of you to make a Heavenly Oath to never tell anything about me and my disciple's identity," Maxwell said.

When Charya and the others heard that, they were startled. They were wondering why he wanted them to make a Heavenly Oath for that. Maxwell seemed to want to conceal Alex's background.

"Your teacher had told you the reason why he would not do anything to solve your problem, right?" Maxwell glanced at Alex.

"Yes." Alex nodded.

"I agreed with him. Then, I will ask you this. Which one do you think is stronger, a 5-Star Martial Saint, or a peak Martial Saint?" Maxwell asked.

When Charya and the others heard that, they were confused. After all, the answer was obviously the peak Martial Saint. There was no point in asking that question.

However, surprisingly Alex did not answer. He was pondering the question again and again. He felt there was another meaning behind this question.

"Can't answer?" Maxwell asked with a smile.

Alex nodded, ashamed. The others were surprised to see Alex could not answer a simple question.

"Well… it is absolutely normal if you can't answer. Even if someone asks me that question, I would not be able to answer."

Alex looked at him in surprise. "Then, there is no answer?"

"Who is stronger? Who is weaker?…" Maxwell paused a little bit then said with a cold tone, "we will not know the answer until one of their heads goes flying."

They sucked a cold breath when they heard that. They did not know why, but they got goosebumps.

"What I want to tell you is the same as your teacher. You should challenge the whole world and become the strongest. I rather have you become a 5-Star Martial Saint but an elite amongst the elite than having you a peak Martial Saint but always sheltered by your background or my identity."

Alex had the urge to say something, but the word stuck on his throat. He could only say, "Yes, Master."

"Do you have rank 5… No, rank 4 weapons should be enough. I need two."

Alex nodded and took out two rank 4 swords from his space ring.

After Alex handed him the sword, Maxwell immediately made an Array in both swords. "Each sword is the key to activate the barrier array. The array is a sphere with five miles radius. No one could break it unless a peak Martial Emperor or a Martial Monarch came to this place and destroyed the barrier personally."

He waved his hand, and the sword flew to Xiang Bai's hand. "Many thanks to Senior. We can't thank you enough for what you give to us."

The sect master then said, "With Heaven and Earth as the witness, I won't tell another soul about Alexander Sirius's identity and what happened in this place. If I break this promise, let Heaven kill me and destroy my soul."

It was the Heavenly Oath. When the others heard that, they also started making the Heavenly Oath as they forgot to do it because of the talk.

Maxwell then gave the other sword to Alex. "This is also the key but stronger than the other key. So, you can deactivate the array even if the other key chooses to activate the array."

He said in a meaningful way. He indirectly said he did not trust them as they might use the array he made to attack his disciple. So, he gave the 'master key' to Alex.

He then glanced coldly to the others, "Is there any problem with my arrangement?"
