Chapter 463 - Goddess Of Trickery, Nyara

Chapter 463: Goddess of Trickery, Nyara

Charles soon returned to the campsite, participated in the funeral ceremony for the deceased knights, and returned to a separate tent for rest. As most of the elite knights went to sleep, he took out the green pendant and checked what was happening inside the pocket dimension.

But after some time, he sensed something was off about Melody and took out the Star Constellation Book from his space ring.

Then, he conjured a ball of flame, let it hover in front of him, and then took out an ink bottle, quill, and a blank notebook from his space ring.

After that, he opened the Star Constellation Book, flipped the pages, and soon stopped at the mysterious blank page filled with twelve types of unique marks.

He then opened the ink bottle, dipped the quill's brush into it, and started writing information about Melody on the blank page. He wrote her true name, race, age, and even her physical appearance detailedly.

As he finished writing Melody's personal information, the twelve marks on the corners of the mysterious page glowed in a golden light and moved towards the center.

As the twelve golden lines connected, they merged and soon formed into a mysterious crystal-like arrow.

A second later, the mysterious arrow elevated on its own and soon showed its tip at Charles's face.

Upon seeing this strange scene, Charles couldn't help but look at it warily.

'What happened?'

"Something is wrong about this book-"

Before he could finish his sentence, the mysterious page suddenly moved like a water wave, released strange energy, and caused the crystalline arrow to move towards his forehead.

But what shocked Charles was not the sudden wave but some mysterious energy that appeared all over the crystalline arrow. He strangely felt a familiarity upon sensing the power.

'I sense the power of Future Time...' He squinted his eyes sharper and was about to back away but suddenly stopped.

No! It wasn't him who stopped, but the whole surroundings went frozen in time.

At that moment, mysterious energies came from twelve different stars, enveloped the Faith Plane, and froze the whole planet.

Meanwhile, the mysterious 'Time arrow' tore through space and time, appeared in front of Charles's forehead, and entered.

Then, the 'Time arrow' penetrated his Dark Space and soon stabbed into his original consciousness.

A second later, Charles suddenly returned to his normal state and found himself standing in the deep void.

He also saw two people who appeared 100 meters away from him, and they were staring at each other. He guessed that they were somewhat hostile to each other from their facial expression.

'But they seem to be refraining themselves from attacking each other... An old grudge, maybe?' He thought.

One was a catkin girl, while the other was a brown-haired humanoid figure. The catkin girl appeared to be around 10-years-old, she had silvery-long ears, kitten ears, long fluffy tails, and wore a greenish-blue gown made of soft, satiny fabric. Currently, she held a wooden flute in her hand and seemed to be looking at the other person with a cold look on her face.

The brown-haired figure had a human face but had strange wood-like limbs. Charles even saw barks on the figure's hands and soon shifted his gaze towards its front. It had two red eyes, a unique azure eye at the center of its forehead, a matured feminine face, and appeared to be around 18 years old. The brown-haired figure seemed more like a young girl than a monster.

Currently, the brown-haired girl wore a dress purely made of flowers and leaves and looked more like a forest dryad.

Charles looked at those two people for a second, shifted his gaze towards his right side, and noticed that a large hexagonal crystalline structure appeared over there.

'A quartz crystal?' He looked deeply at the hexagonal quartz-like crystal and soon noticed an anomaly.

A young man appeared inside the hexagonal crystal, and he sat in a cross-legged position. His eyes were closed, his hands were chained using a black-colored metal, and he currently appeared to be in the middle of deep meditation.

That person was a 20-years-old young male, had pointy-long ears, an oval face, amber eyes, and wore a golden robe.

'An elf?' At that moment, Charles thought of a certain taboo existence and got confused inside.

But before he could think further, he felt an eerie gaze from the front.

Shocked by the sudden feeling, he shifted his gaze towards the front and soon froze as he saw the catkin girl was looking at him!

Then, her lips curled upward suddenly and soon formed into a mischievous smile.

"Interesting,"

A childish voice echoed in Charles's ears. Before he could even understand the situation, the catkin girl disappeared from where she stood before and reappeared in front of him.

Then, she tilted her head with a curious look on her face and spoke.

"Pleased to meet you, Mister. I'm Nyara." She suddenly paused, raised her right hand, and added with the same mischievous smile on her face.

"The Goddess of Trickery."

Then, she snapped her finger.

The next second, the surroundings shook violently and broke into millions of pieces!

A moment later, Charles found himself in the tent and showed a dumbfounded look on his face.

"Goddess of Trickery... Nyara... Melody Tonha Nyara... Blessed One..." He abruptly stood up and then showed an understanding look on his face.

'No wonder... But how? How did she manage to speak to me through vision?' He couldn't help but get more confused inside.

'The next thing is about the elven young man sealed inside the hexagonal crystal. Who is he? The Sun God? What happened to him?' Although he couldn't understand the situation, he felt that the Sun God seemed to have deliberately imprisoned himself in the crystal.

'There are too many mysterious about that vision. From the looks of it, Goddess Nyara, the brown-haired girl, and I seemed to have formed an agreement to meet in the deep void. What's our goal? Are we going to release the Sun God from that sealing crystal? But why am I helping him? It makes no sense. Tsk, I've no choice but to ask him myself.' He shook his head and shifted his attention towards the green pendant.

'My next concern is about Melody. What's her relationship with the Goddess of Trickery? Her child? Or just a chosen one?' He furrowed his brows. Then, he looked into the pocket dimension and checked if everything was alright.

Then, he sat down and chose to get some rest.

The night soon ended without much disturbance, and the group continued their journey after the sunrise.

For the next 10 hours, Charles and others continued to travel on the barren land, crossed the Soundless Plains around 3 P.M. and finally reached the Sleepy Mountain Range.

But instead of going further, they chose to camp near the mountain range and rested.. The following day, the knights packed their belongings and finally entered the mountain range with the help of a local guide.
