FALLING IN LOVE WITH HIM - HER FIRST LOVE

Chapter 126 - Of Course, He's Lucky

She licked her lips nervously and sharply inhaled when she felt his head angling downward, and Hunter kissed her jaw. It wasn't just a peck, Hera felt the stinging when his teeth grazed her skin before brushing his hot tongue over it.

Alert, and alarmed, Hera straightened her posture, and involuntarily she shivered at their intimate proximity. The ice cream jar slipped from her hand, and her other hand moved in reflex to catch it. But as clumsy as she was Hera misjudged the timing, and the cold contents sank onto her palms, spilling out of the jar, the ice cream numbing her hands in the process. Too lost in the sensation of his hot mouth on her skin, she couldn't move and stayed glued to his chest.

The jar hit Hunter's knee, spilling the remaining portion of the ice cream on his thigh, and it didn't help that he wore his shorts as usual. He hissed at the sudden cold sensation on his bare skin, pulling away from Hera.

Giving him space, she moved away from him while Hunter grabbed the tissues from the paper bag, wiping the trail of melted ice cream on his skin. When he looked at Hera, she had her eyes glued to his hands, watching how they moved on his thigh. Lost in her fantasy, Hera seemed to contemplate whether or not to lick his thigh clean with her tongue. Unmoving, she sat like a statue, spilt ice cream smeared on her palms..

Hunter smirked to himself as a warm feeling rushed everywhere in his body. He knew that look too well, and his heart skipped a beat at the intensity Hera's eyes held.

Clearing his throat, he caught her attention, and Hera shifted her gaze back to his face. With a wolfish smile dancing on his lips, Hunter took Hera's hands in his. Hera frowned in confusion as he brought them to his mouth. Her forest-green eyes lingered on his pink, full lips longer than necessary while his tongue darted out, licking them. She gasped when he licked her palm and Hunter smiled against her palm before putting two of her fingers into his mouth.

Hera's breath hitched while her heart skyrocketed in full speed. Meanwhile, her boyfriend's tongue devoured every inch of her fingers as if it tasted sweeter than the ice cream.

'Dear God, this is so dirty! I'm not supposed to like it, right?'

Hera's mind disputed. Contrary to her thoughts, her heart somersaulted inside, basking in the wet warmth of his searing hot mouth. His advances these days were getting more bold and rude as hell.

'How disrespectful would it appear if anyone caught us like this?'

Before he could lick her other hand, Hera jerked it away from his reach. Scowling, she searched for the water bottle in her bag. Hunter saw through her sham of a scowl how hard she's blushing under it.

He watched, smiling like a lovesick fool he was, while Hera made a thick mat of tissues on the floor before washing her hands into it, drenching the paper in the process. "You're so smart," Hunter said, watching her with his heart eyes. Hera giggled, sprinkling water on his face. "You've ice cream smeared around your lips," he pointed the spot with his finger. Before Hera could wipe it away, he caught her hand. "May I?" Hunter asked in a whisper, and Hera silently stared as he leaned forward.

Covering her mouth with his, Hunter licked everywhere, cleaning her lips with his hot tongue. Hera gasped into his mouth, and Hunter's lips twitched in a smile against hers. They kept their lips locked together until they could hold their breath. Somehow, Hera felt the kiss turn dirtier too. He kissed her differently today as if he's trying to imprint his lips on hers forever. His tongue moved so aggressively, possessing every corner of her mouth as if he's washing off a sin out of it.

Hera felt his chest rumbling as he struggled to breathe. Worried, Hera pulled away from the kiss only to find his eyes watering. "What's wrong, Hunter?" She asked, wiping his tears. Instead of answering her question with words, he chose to reply with his lips. He kissed her again, showing how much she meant to him.

Hera kissed him back, trying to keep up with his pace and let him have his fill. His tears dampened her cheeks as well, and at that exact moment, she felt it in her heart, the reason behind his distress, and she found herself guilty for not telling him the truth sooner.

"Can you let me breathe for a second?" Hera asked, in a breathless whisper and giggled when he pulled away in a flash. Smoothing the lines of worry on his forehead with her fingers, she kissed his lips once again. Before she could voice out her question, Hunter answered it. "I'm fine, everything's fine. I love you so much, my darling wife," he said, kissing her again.

Hera smiled and brought their foreheads together while her palms cupped his face. "You're lucky, the feeling's mutual, Mr Hunter," she admitted with a sure conviction. "Of course, I'm lucky," he agreed. Hera blushed and hid her face in his chest. Hunter leaned against the wall, resuming their earlier sitting position. Pulling her into his chest, he helped her wear his woollen gloves. They sat in quiet for a while, listening to each other's breathing rhythm.

Hera groaned in disapproval when Hunter took out her books from the bag. "Let's do some studying now," he said, and she pouted, fluttering her lashes at him but it seemed not working this time. "Hera Hunter, pull your dirty mind out of the gutter now. Stop eye-fucking me for once and learn something useful from your books," he said, scolding her.

Hera glared at him before pinching his nipples hard, and Hunter hissed, slapping her hands away.

She scowled, hands reaching out to pinch him again. Holding her hands in his, Hunter clicked his tongue and shook his head. "Do you want me to return the favour?" He asked, no hint of playfulness detected in his tone. Hera gaped at him, then shoved him roughly before pulling her hands away from his. "Thought so," he said, grabbing her books.

"Okay, I'm going to solve these problems now. Goddess, watch and listen carefully, learn and remember, ask if you've any doubt," he said, getting all serious with his tutoring business.

Hera settled her back against his chest, once again taking her seat between his legs. Hunter opened her maths book and kept it beside him on the floor. Hera had her legs pulled up, her feet firmly planted on the floor. Hunter supported the notebook on her joined knees, and his fingers moved the pencil smoothly on the paper while he taught her the remaining maths exercises.

One and half hour later, Hunter managed to teach her almost everything in that limited time. In between their study session, Hera muttered, "I'm sleepy," and rested her head on his chest. His fingers stroked her hair affectionately, and Hera promptly fell asleep on him. He didn't have the heart to wake her up and pulled her more into his jacket, hugging her tightly to keep her warm in the cold.

Sometime later, his cell phone went off with an incoming call. The shrill sound of ringing jolted him awake, and Hunter realised he'd fallen asleep as well.

Silencing his phone, he checked Hera, and she was still fast asleep, lying on top of him, her body aligned together with his from her head to toe. Hunter was on his back flat against the cold floor, and his legs felt numb because of the cold.

He checked the time and cursed under his breath. It was almost two in the morning. No wonder Danny kept calling him. Clearing his dry throat, Hunter finally received the call. "Where the hell are you, asshole? Have you seen the time?" Danny barked into the phone.

"Fucking shut up, Danny," Hunter said, groaning, his voice was raspy because of the sleep. "Hera and I are still in the library. We fell asleep," he said.

"What? Are you kidding me?" He heard Danny yelling before putting aside the phone on the floor.

Hunter rubbed his palm over his face, wiping the sleep away. He wrapped an arm around Hera's middle, holding her securely before moving them to a sitting position. She groaned in protest and refused to wake up. Sighing, Hunter picked up the phone and spoke to Danny.

"Stop screaming, you dick head. I'll drop her to her room and see you in a while," he said and disconnected the call, ignoring the curse his best friend threw at him.

When Hera refused to budge from her position and curled up more into his chest, he kissed her until she fell short of breath and opened her eyes. Whining, Hera fought with him for waking her up. When he showed her the time and made her realise how they fell asleep in the library, she blamed him for not waking her up sooner. Shaking his head, Hunter laughed.
