Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 494: Meridians Change

The changes taking place inside of his physical body was not anything life changing that suddenly increased the strength of his physical body another level. Instead, it was a more subtle change that slightly changed the meridians in his body.

The change in his meridians not only allowed his qi to flow more smoothly, but also allowed him to absorb the qi between heaven and earth faster!

Other than these two things, Xuan Hao also felt like something else had fundamentally changed, but he couldn't really grasp what it was. Looking through the system to find out what had happened, didn't really yield any results either.

But similar to the last time the feather imprint had absorbed something, he had also felt like his understanding of the world around him had increased. In essence, his comprehension speed had once again increased after the feather imprint had absorbed the blue divine energy.

Although, compared to the last time, it did not increase by a lot. The biggest change was still what had happened to the meridian inside his physical body.

"I wonder if I can absorb more of the blue divine energy…"

Muttering this to himself as the pain slowly began subsiding and the changes taking place inside his meridians stopped, Xuan Hao could not help thinking about what would happen if he managed to absorb even more of the blue divine energy.

Maybe an even more drastic change would take place-

Fwoosh!

Just as he was thinking about absorbing even more of the blue divine energy after the changes in his body finished, a sudden burning sensation appeared between his eyebrows as he felt the feather imprint suddenly appear. Looking like it was about to burst as tiny amounts of blue divine energy leaked out from it into the surrounding air. Instantly causing the surrounding temperature to fall rapidly, as the ground beneath his feet froze over.

The entire thing only lasted for a short moment, but it was more than enough time for Xuan Hao to understand that the feather imprint had most likely reached its limit for how much of the blue divine energy that it could absorb for now…

Even if this made him quite disappointed, there was nothing much he could do about it. After all, he didn't want to end up having the feather imprint absorb too much of the blue divine energy. Resulting in the feather imprint possibly exploding or beginning to leak the excess blue divine energy, both of which would possibly end up killing him!

Taking things slowly and returning to absorb more whenever the feather imprint had finished refining the blue divine energy that it had absorbed, was the best option in his mind.

Now… All that was left for him to do now, was find out how long it would take for the feather imprint to fully digest the blue divine energy that it had absorbed.

Thinking about this issue for a few seconds, Xuan Hao touched the place where the feather imprint between his eyebrows was located before trying to send a part of his divine sense inside it to investigate it. Something he had already tried a few times before to no avail.

"Hm?"

However, this time around the outcome was different!

While he could still not enter the space where the blue divine energy had disappeared to, he could feel the state of the feather imprint with his divine sense. Allowing him to realize just how close to bursting apart and killing him it currently was…

At the same time, he could also feel that the feather imprint was slowly refining the blue divine energy that it had absorbed.

Smiling unnervingly as he realized this, Xuan Hao didn't know if he should feel happy over having found a way to deduct when he could get the feather imprint to absorb more blue divine energy, or he should feel happy that he had not chosen a slightly larger rock filled with blue divine energy…

If he had really chosen a large rock…

Shaking his head at this thought, Xuan Hao decided not to think about it and instead thought about what to do next.

"Now that I'm already here, should I check out the other mountain peaks of the Shattered Star Peaks…?"

Saying this to himself as he gazed down towards the seven smaller mountain peaks below him, Xuan Hao realized that he had yet to actually decided on which of the Nine Star Peaks the future Flying Sword Sect should be built on top of…

The Second Star Peak was out of the question given the abundance of blue divine energy rocks on top of it and the Main Star Peak would also not be a good idea given the fact that there might be a lot of dangerous things hidden away up there like the trapping formation he had encountered on his first trip up there…

The Third Star Peak was also not an option. Mainly because its use, but also because it was way too small in Xuan Hao's opinion. Especially compared to the size of the Ninth Star Peak…

The Ninth Star Peak was a good place to build a sect, but Xuan Hao felt like it would be a waste to destroy the forest on top of it growing an abundance of spiritual herbs for this.

In the end, this left the Eighth to the Fourth Star Peak as a potential location of the future Flying Sword Sect!

All of these mountains had yet to be explored by most people due to their treacherous environments and the ever-present chaotic qi, with the few who had explored them only recounting how they found nothing of value there.

In the end, these mountains had never really gained as much interest as the Third- and Ninth-Star Peak over the years. Ending up being forgotten by most of the people who came to the Shattered Star Peaks.

Whoosh~

Not standing around to wait for long after the changes taking place inside his body had come to a stop, Xuan Hao jumped into the air before heading down towards the closest mountain. The Fourth Star Peak.
