Commanding Wind and Cloud

Chapter 495

Chapter 495: Invincible

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! …

Elastic as the green bamboo bows were, they blasted and broke into pieces as soon as they were hit by Qian Jin’s arrows. Dripping on the broken bamboo pieces was crimson blood, shed from the palms of the bandit archers.

The dozen archer bandits were so dumbfounded that they nearly forgot the pain coming from their hands, but tucked away their bows and turned to Qian Jin who continued to stride forward bemusedly. How come?! How did this person release a handful of arrows in an instant? Apparently, he hadn’t stretched even one-third of the bowstring.

A bow to an archer was what a sword to a swordsman. It was their second life. But now, they couldn’t help but watch someone else destroy their second lives in their faces. Well… what they used to deem as ridiculous as illusion had now turned into reality.

“You just tell the other bandits inside the yard that it’s troublesome for me to go there and beat them one by one. Let them come out and fight with me in turns. In case anyone feels gutless to come out and fight with me, he can avoid me in the future.”

With the help of warrior power, Qian Jin’s macho voice turned into aggressive roars. He spoke so loudly that the bandits nearby could clearly hear him without the passing of these messages.

Under the strong aura of Qian Jin, the dozen bandits couldn’t help stepping back at the same time. Where did this rookie come from? Or was he a newly appointed bandit instructor?

“What are you still waiting for?”

Qian Jin frowned and flashed out a look of discontent from his eyes. Seeing this, the bandits came to their senses and turned back swiftly to jostle in the yard.

They were afraid that this newly arrived bandit would do more horrific things should they linger there for one more second. Now that the bowstring was not stretched to the fullest, he hadn’t used the entirety of his strength. It was silly to get on the wrong side of him.

Qian Jin relaxed his limbs softly, fully absorbed in the silent entrance. Then he sensed hatred and anger approaching him.

“Who is courting death…”

From inside the yard jumped out a tall bandit with a strong build. Before landing firmly on the ground, the bandit saw an enlarged image of a foot in his pupils, which then landed directly on his chest, cracking his bones into pieces. With this series of fracturing sounds, the bandit flew back to where he came from.

Qian Jin whisked away the dust on his shoes and crossed his hands behind his back. Amidst the killing intent produced by the four bandits climbing over the wall from all directions, Qian Jin activated his warrior power at a high speed and conjured a wisp of lotus-shaped air balls in his palms.

[Fury Lotus Fighting Technique]

“What the hell is this fighting technique?” Hiding somewhere not far behind Qian Jin outside the yard, Te Jofy cast a curious look inside.

Curiosity and conjecture. Te Jofy felt was very interested in Qian Jin, wondering what this young man would do. He furtively followed Qian Jin to see what he would do next. To his surprise, Qian Jin behaved like an aggressive challenger the moment he got into this place.

High profile. Among the trained bandits, there was a great deal of wild and willful types, but none of them put on such a high profile as Qian Jin. Though being alone, Qian Jin left others the impression that he had led a big cavalry team carrying the strong murderous intent to sweep through the place.

Bang! Bang! … a string of bangs produced as fists and feet came… then there came a stream of crashing sounds made by bones being fractured as well as some unknown objects flopping onto the ground, mingled with the groaning uttered by the bandits.

Te Jofy goggled his eyes wide and kept screwing his lips. “What poor little things… this boy is really atrocious… however, is there any need for him to put on such a slaughter-like behavior here?”

All of a sudden, the handful of bandits who came to beat Qian Jin were ruthlessly knocked down by him while more bandits were flooding in from all directions.

At the sight of the long stick taken away by Qian Jin from someone else, Te Jofy couldn’t stop smacking his lips. Qian Jin held this round stick as if he was carrying an edged sword and performed a stream of moves like wielding a sharp war saber.

Against the murderous intent worn by the incoming bandits, Qian Jin wielded the stick up and down, producing a patch of shades around him. It looked as if a strong gust of wind was assaulting the small and silent yard.

Watching the bandits being knocked down one by one, Te Jofy lifted his hands to cover his eyes subconsciously. It was not his first time to witness this type of bloody scenes with broken heads and legs, but it was indeed his first time to see such a crushing fight.

To be frank, this couldn’t be classified as fighting, but a one-sided lesson. None of the bandits who rushed into the yard with an angry face remained standing for more than a few seconds before they were knocked down heavily and left curled up on the ground by Qian Jin with his stick.

Within just a dozen minutes or so, about one hundred bandits were knocked down on the ground, while the long stick held in Qian Jin’s hand was full of bloodstains. Among all these bandits, several cranky types who cried out while threatening to chop Qian Jin into pieces were not only beaten until their bones fractured but also beaten till they threw up blood.

“Stop.”

Amongst this husky growl, Qian Jin raised his eyebrows to look at the man standing not afar. With a short and fat build, and a huge iron hammer carried in the hand, this person wore a strong touch of augustness. The red beard and brown hair indicated that he was not an aborigine of the Zence Empire

He belonged to the Dwarfs, a branch of the Barbarians, who had strong inborn talents for forging as well as compelling strength. They treated their own people with mildness while the species with sheer hostility. They even maintained a certain degree of aloofness with the other tribes of the Barbarians.

How could a Dwarf show up here? Qian Jin raised his brows. There was really an assorted of creatures under the command of the Bandit King Bhang Wusheng, who unexpectedly managed to recruit the anti-foreigner Dwarfs into his group.

The Dwarf rounded his cow-like eyes at the people crawling on the ground, the sight of which made him fling his thick red eyebrows incessantly. Then he looked Qian Jin up and down and asked, “A newcomer?”

“The instructor?”

Instead of answering the Dwarf, Qian Jin asked a question back. Now that he had taken on being high profile, he had to go with it until the end, even if he might be beaten until he had fractured bones by this Soul-Power Bandit. The worst outcome would be going back to the Endless World for a potion in order to recover.

Soul-Power Bandit? Qian Jin felt a balloon of excitement bulging inside him. For the past few days of fighting, he came to realize that the stronger his enemies were, the greater lessons and insights he could draw. As long as he remained alive, he would have faster growth than staying in his comfort zone.

If he remained in Four Seasons Valley, he probably wouldn’t have entered the Demon Capturer realm even with the help of the Endless World, let alone the summit of the Demon Slayer realm.

“You…” The Dwarf twisted his eyebrows and looked at Qian Jin in a resentful way, “you are really conceited.”

“Dorata is here?” Te Jofy blinked hard upon seeing the number one instructor of the bandit group. Among the one hundred people who were knocked down by Qian Jin just now, at least three were bandit instructors.

Strictly speaking, Qian Jin just needed to live idly in the bandit group for half a year and wait for the assessment.

Looking around the bandits lying on the ground, Qian Jin replied calmly, “Since they harbor the intent of beating others, they should have the equally psychological preparations to be beaten by others.”

Dorata’s face turned even more sullen and was more displeased. No one dared to talk to him in such a disrespectful way here. Bhang Wusheng might be in need of wild-tempered bandits, but he needed no bandits who disrespect him.

“So, you…”Dorata said in a vicious way, “Are you ready to take my beating?”

“I’m ready.” Qian Jin nodded his head and looked at Dorata quietly. “I wonder if you are prepared too?”

What? The bandits groaning on the ground wondered whether there was anything wrong with their ears. How could this newcomer talk to Dorata in such an imperious way? In doing so he was absolutely courting death.

Te Jofy felt regretful for not having told Qian Jin that by no means should he irritate Dorata, who showed obedience and respect for no one but Bhang Wusheng in the entire bandit group. Due to the ingrained national complex, he looked down at all other species, and he would attack anyone to offend him.

There were no limiting factors around fighting within the bandit group. As long as no one was killed, any kind of fights was acceptable. Such was the regulation made by Bhang Wusheng. In fact, there used to be a lot of people who joined in the fight against Dorata, yet no one could defeat him, including those who possessed a Golden Warrior Heart.

Even the bloodline warriors with a peak Golden Warrior Heart were incapable of defeating Dorata. The reason was that the Dwarfs had a special fighting technique called [Avatar].

In the Zence Empire and the Demons, it was referred to as a Fake Soul.

Only by reaching a certain level in the cultivation of Golden Warrior Heart could someone generate the Soul Power and enter the respective realm. However, the Dwarfs invented a special fighting technique. That was, those people who had reached the peak of Golden Warrior Heart could use something similar to Soul-Power.

In the eyes of the real Soul-Power Warriors, it was not a Soul-Power in the real sense. But still, it was above the Golden Warrior Heart, taking on a special state in between these two.

“Get ready?” The angriness in Dorata’s eyes culminated with a cold smile. “What do I need to get ready for? To be beaten by you?”

Qian Jin nodded his head softly and seriously. Given his knowledge that the Dwarfs didn’t have bloodline power, this person in front of him couldn’t have reached the saint level. Should he have climbed on the peak of Soul-Power, he wouldn’t be serving here as a bandit instructor. If he was in the early Soul-Power state…
