Commanding Wind and Cloud

Chapter 359

Chapter 359: Qian Jin, I Wanna….

“Phew, you got yourself hurt again?” Leaning by the door, Eulalia pushed up the beautiful spectacles on the bridge of her nose and then scratched her messy hair. “It’s nice to have you here. Find me some materials. Wait a few seconds.”

Another list of materials. Qian Jin couldn’t help shaking his head and wearing a bitter smile, thinking that his beloved teachers were really caring for him, as they each had given him a list of mid and high-level demon beasts.

Blake’s Blacksmith Shop was as quiet as before with the rosy flame shimmering in the furnace jubilantly, producing crackling sounds every now and then.

Standing outside the door, Qian Jin took a deep breath as he felt the Warrior Heart condensed through the Forge Breathing Technique. A Level 5 Demon Slayer… this Warrior Heart was more powerful than his first Warrior Heart…

“So quick?” Blake put aside his pipe and looked Qian Jin up and down with great curiosity with his morbid eyes. “Have you condensed the Heart of Earthy Fire within such a short time?”

Heart of Earthy Fire? Qian Jin was just about to step over the threshold when he heard this name, which made him stop moving completely. He then lowered his head while looking towards the burning second Warrior Heart in his body. Wow, this strong yet naughty thing was named Heart of Earthy Fire.

Blake rose up, walked to Qian Jin, took out his hands to feel for Qian Jin’s body and then nodded his head incessantly. “Uncontrollable?”

Qian Jin laid down his left leg and slightly nodded his head. He felt great admiration toward this mysterious Blacksmith Uncle Blake, who was able to see a number of things simply through several slight touches. It seemed he was even more powerful than the Snake Emperor Pam Honzi, as he could tell that Qian Jin was now out of control of it.

“You will be able to control it through working on your forging skills.” Blake yawned and went back to his habitual corner to smoke the pipe without saying anything more. “You will be able to control it three times a day given your present proficiency…”

Qian Jin picked up the hammer and nodded his head again to show his admiration. This mysterious old blacksmith was like a God of the Stars with omniscient knowledge and infinite abilities, having everything at his fingertips.

There seemed to be a special tacit understanding between the burning furnace and the Heart of Earthy Fire in that there seemed to be an intangible connection between them, though being away from each other. Under the impact of the heat from the furnace, the latent Heart of Earthy Fire seemed to have been brought to life again, with sheer vigor and vitality. The Third Hammering of the [Eighteen Blade Elevating Strikes] reappeared in Blake’s Blacksmith Shop.

A rarely-heard clashing sound made by the iron hammer rang in the quiet courtyard, yet the resplendent flaming sparks produced by the iron cast were much fewer than before. The hammer was transmitting the sparks into the raw iron piece again.

“This is…” Qian Jin was surprised to find that a warrior seal was being condensed in the Heart of Earthy Fire, which, though was shallow, was certainly there.

The [Eighteen Blade Elevating Strikes] which had ever been condensed in his Warrior Heart, was now giving signs of sequencing in the Heart of Earthy Fire.

Qian Jin uttered a long sigh, eventually realizing that it wasn’t that his first Warrior Heart that had gone wrong. The sequence of the [Eighteen Blade Elevating Strikes] could only be beckoned by the Heart of Earthy Fire.

“The proficiency of your Third Hammering of the [Eighteen Blade Elevating Strikes] has improved by five hundred points…”

The dull system prompt rang again, making Qian Jin tremble his wrist slightly. “What? Five hundred points? Why so much? In the past, the proficiency increases by roughly one dozen, but today it gets increased by five hundred points? Is this attributed to the Heart of Earthy Fire?”

“The proficiency of your Third Hammering of the [Eighteen Blade Elevating Strikes] has improved by seven hundred points…”

Seven hundred. Hearing the ever increased proficiency report, Qian Jin seemed to have gained endless strength. The previously boring Eighteen Blade Elevating Strikes was now full of fun for him.

Five hundred…seven hundred…nine hundred…one thousand.

With a nearly consummate hammering move, Qian Jin achieved another rise in proficiency of one thousand points, which made him feel like he was flying in the sky. He kept hammering the raw iron pieces with his newly recovered arm.

While Blake was fully concentrated on his pipe, the tobacco was giving out a shimmering light, accompanied by an intermittent creaking sound.

“Player Qian Jin, attention please. Your gaming time today is going to be used up. Please get ready to go offline.”

“What? Time has elapsed so fast?” His sight became distorted, and his voice heard ethereal.

Had he been forging over the entire sixteen hours?

Qian Jin crawled out of the sand hole, shook off the sand on his body, and looked up at the sky with a puzzled look. “Why don’t I feel exhausted for the entire past sixteen hours at all?” He thought to himself. Well, this increased speed was more than exciting.

Boom. A thunderclap suddenly flashed by the tranquil galaxy devoid of stars and Moon. Lightning upon lightning soared among the drooping clouds, while cold raindrops coupled with fist and washing basin sized hail fell down rapidly from the sky, of which the huge impact force caused Qian Jin to sink down a little in the sand ground.

“Is it raining?” Qian Jin lifted his hand to knead the biting shoulder and then looked up at the sky. “How should I explain the full recovery of my wounds to Duren Burg?”

While the injuries on the energy connections were hard to be seen, the fractures on the bones, which had pricked the skin and flesh and were exposed by some inches, shouldn’t have been healed during such a short time, even if there might be some eerily awesome warrior power conjured by Qian Jin.

“Maybe I should wear some bandages.” Qian Jin scratched his head, took out the materials taken from the Pam Family and swiftly bandaged his arms and shoulder. It didn’t matter if Duren and the others knew about his fast healing, but if the Snake Emperor Pam Honzi knew about this, he might stop his support of Qian Jin.

A charismatic leader of the Hydra Bloodline Warrior Family held limited support for any and all his allies and once he knew the source of his allies’ strength, he might cut down his sponsoring or even try plundering such resources. Such had been proven by the constant robberies of the Qian Family.

No such records of immediate body-recovery had been made ever before, apart from the legendary cases of healing oneself with special fighting techniques at the cost of vitality.

“Oh? Here comes my cigarette warehouse.”

Duren Burg burst into laughter, rose up, opened his arms and quickly walked toward Qian Jin. “You seem much better than before. I bet you will fully recover after resting for another period of time.”

Qian Jin flashed a look at Lucifer Lucy who wasn’t standing too far from him. Was it not for the existence of this demon princess, he would confess to Duren Burg that he had fully recovered.

The other three people stopped absorbing warrior energy from the energy cores, rose up, and walked to Qian Jin for a closer observation.

“What was the fighting technique you performed on Qian Chenguang?” Duren Burg was sitting amongst the sea of flowers, wearing a similarly iridescent smile on his face. “Why did it look like the lost [Latent Thunder Fighting Technique]?”

Fanta Kunge nodded his head to show his agreement. The record of the Fanta Family included the functioning way of [Latent Thunder Fighting Technique] which was very identical with that reflected by Qian Chenguang, in which compelling warrior power came from all directions of the body and rampaged here and there, changing the places it passed by into hornet’s nests.

“It’s the [Latent Thunder Fighting Technique] exactly.” Qian Jin crossed his thighs and sat down naturally on the ground with a smile on his face. At the surprised look of his fellow friends, he explained slowly, “At the very beginning I knew nothing about it at all. It was all because of the damning Qian Chenyu that I accidentally procured it.”

“Mastering a lost unique fighting technique after being beaten by others?” Duren Burg nestled fully into the grass. “Dear God of the Stars, will you give him a punch to turn him into a deity too?”

Qian Jin kicked Duren Burg on the leg with his feet. “I feel that I procured that technique because Qian Chenyu had exploded the warrior seal.”

“Warrior seal?” Lucifer Lucy took a glimpse at Qian Jin, saying to herself that the [Latent Thunder Fighting Technique] was undoubtedly a fighting technique of divine level. Even though Qian Chenyu was just a Level 9 Demon Slayer who didn’t possess supreme power, what he was using was a divine fighting technique. Considering that he had exploded the warrior power sequence, the killing force he conjured was many times stronger than usual.

How did Qian Jin survive such killing force? Did he possess an impregnable body constitution? But even if he had an amazing body constitution, there ought to be some scars on his body. Qian Chenguang’s build was publicly deemed to be sturdy, but still, he was so hurt by Qian Jin’s strike that he spewed a mouthful of blood.

Qian Jin turned his eyes on Duren Burg, who had risen up from the ground and then took another look at the other two partners. “Are you people interested in learning the long-lost divine fighting technique?”

“Qian Jin…”

Duren Burg instantly bounced up from the grass and flung himself at Qian Jin. Overlapping above his “cigarette warehouse”, Duren Burg said with a flushing look, “Yeah, yeah. I want it definitely…”

“You want what? Get away…” Lucifer Lucy seized Duren Burg by the lower part of his collar to drag him away and then knelt down in front of Qian Jin. With her hands crossed by her lower abdomen, it made her bosom look even plumper. Staring at Qian Jin with an enchanting look, she asked, “Why didn’t you look when you asked that?”

Qian Jin shrugged his shoulder reluctantly and looked back at Lucifer Lucy calmly. Well, things were self-evident that she, as a demon princess, was totally different from Cech Flet.

The goal of Cech Flet was to chop down the head of the existing crown prince of the demons, or even that of the Demon King. The odds for him to reconcile with the demons were zero.

But as a demon princess, who had the ambitions of becoming the demon empress, Lucifer Lucy might abuse the [Latent Thunder Fighting Technique] by teaching it to her team members after Qian Jin taught her. It would be as dangerous as granting her a saber for killing human warriors on the human-demon battlefront.

Friendship was one thing, but rationality involved another. There was no mercy at war. If he was killed by the demons with the [Latent Thunder Fighting Technique] on the human-demon battlefront and thus came back to the Stars, he would be a lifetime joke for Rollin.

“Are you afraid that I might impart it to my tribe members?” A light full of anger danced in Lucifer Lucy’s pretty eye. “This is how you view me? Do you think that we demons are lacking in fighting techniques? Can’t you figure out that with all those years of accumulation, we the Lucifer Royal Family has acquired several sets of divine fighting techniques? Must I borrow yours and teach it to other demon members?”

“Even if I join in the war on the human-demon battlefront.” Lucifer Lucy suddenly rose up and looked at Qian Jin, “Am I required to use your fighting technique, when in fact I have my own killing techniques? Can’t I use this technique to kill other demons in order to seize the throne?”
