Commanding Wind and Cloud

Chapter 334

Chapter 334: Five Times the Power

“Let’s put it this way. In theory, the more Warrior Seals, the higher the quality of Soul Power. If a Warrior Seal is of high quality, meaning that if the fighting technique is rare, like a Divine Fighting Technique, it would have a greater effect on the quality of the Soul Power.”

“So Warrior Seals effects the quality of Soul Power.” Qian Jin nodded as he thought, “In the top ten Bloodline Families, they all have a Divine Fighting Technique, and more than one!”

A higher social status and influence meant that these families were able to get their hands on better fighting techniques and the Soul Powers of the warriors from these families would be more powerful.

A light bulb went off in Qian Jin’s head as he instantly realized why so many bloodline warriors still were willing to enroll in an Advanced Academy.

These academy had great warriors and mages to be turned into their retinues and they can learn how to command troops as well as high-level war strategies.

But most importantly, every Advanced Academy had a department for fighting technique creation. The experienced veterans and elderly used their experiences and talent and created more mature and immature fighting techniques.

These bloodline warriors were able to learn these techniques through many mediums. Then, they would be able to bring these techniques back to their families so the future generations would have more Warrior Seals to work with.

“Next, we will talk about Warrior Seals.” Enlak raised his hand and pointed at the seals on the sword. “After a Warrior Seal is created, it would become a special force. When a warrior is in danger, he or she would be able to push it over the limit, crush the seal, and deal unprecedented damage.

After Enlak saw the perplexed expression on Qian Jin’s face, he laughed and said, “Let’s put it this way. If I crush all the Warrior Seals in my Soul Power, how much damage do you think I can deal?”

Qian Jin’s eyes popped as he said in a stutter, “The damage… maybe… probably the whole village…”

“Huh…” Enlak laughed as he shook his head. “You have underestimated the power of my Warrior Seals.”

“More” Qian Jin felt like he wasn’t able to speak anymore. He didn’t know what to say, the power described by Enlak was beyond his imagination.

“Now you know.” Enlak patted Qian Jin’s shoulder and said, “Focusing on the cultivation of Warrior Power would help and it would probably make you create Soul Power sooner. But if you don’t have any Warrior Seal, you couldn’t even create a good Soul Power.”

Qian Jin now completely realized that he would need to create Warrior Seals before his Warrior Heart gives birth to the Soul Power. If he wanted a very strong Soul Power, he would need to practice and use a ton of Fighting Techniques to increase the number of Warrior Seals.

He could give up on the Warrior Seal or just have one or two, but the Soul Power he would have would be terrible.

A bad Soul Power won’t enter the Saint level successfully.

The only path to a strong Soul Power was to practice fighting techniques and increase the number of high-quality Warrior Seals. Even if Qian Jin had to crush them for extra-damage in the future, the damage would be devastating.

“A complete Warrior Seal…” Enlak said as he calculated in his mind. “If a Divine Fighting Technique, even if you haven’t mastered the fighting technique itself, you would deal at least five times the power.”

“Five times?” Qian Jin gasped. When his infancy Warrior Seal exploded, he doubled his damage output. That alone severely injured the Fire Berserk Cactus. If it was five times… He would defeat the cactus in one strike.

“Ok, I said all you need to know. You can go now.” Enlak waved his hand and pushed Qian Jin out of the door. “If you win here again next time, I will teach you a technique that would allow you to crush your seal without harming your body.” He said.

“A way to crush the seal without damaging my body?” Qian Jin sat in the sand as he looked at the first moon that appeared in the sky as he recalled what Enlak said.

When his Warrior Seal exploded against the cactus, his Warrior Heart felt so much pain as if it got stabbed. “What kind of technique would it be?” He pondered.

Fanta Kunge jumped out of the cave with energy and buried himself under the sand again with both energy core and metal in his hands.

Duren Burg walked out and threw the Magic Core that he used in the second awakening altar at Pam Family to Qian Jin as he sat beside him. With a smile on his face, he said to Qian Jin, “Look, I don’t recall seeing this before.”

Qian Jin raised the Magic Core above his head and looked at through the moonlight. The Magic Core that should be smooth now had a ton of strange patterns on it.

Magic Array! Qian Jin’s pupil contracted. The most inner part of the Magic Core was the Magic Array. It contained the innate magic of the Demon Beast that humans can’t copy.

It was commonly known that the innate magic would be hidden in the center of the Magic Core and the moment the Magic Core was opened, the Magic Arrays would self-destruct. Humans, Demons, and Barbarians weren’t able to study these Magic Arrays at all.

Sand Python! These high-level Demon Beasts had a lot of protection against their Magic Arrays and no one was able to cast their innate magic.

But now, the magic array that should be hidden revealed itself! Qian Jin’s hand shivered as he asked, “How did you do it?”

“I don’t know.” Duren Burg said as he pushed his butt down into the sand to make himself comfortable. He then lied down and looked at the stars. “After I woke up that day, it had these patterns on it when I saw it.”

“Could it be?” Qian Jin recalled the day when the second awakening altar lit up. “Could it be the altar? Those complicated magic arrays on the second altar have a side-effect of showing Magic Arrays inside the Magic Cores?” Didn’t matter if that was the cause, the innate magic of the Sand Python was revealed. Qian Jin knew this would be a great gift to give to Gabriella.

In terms of giving it to the academy? Qian Jin shook his head. He didn’t need the money that the academy would give him and he didn’t want other people to learn this rare magic. It was a possibility that the Elf King Bloodline Warriors would learn it and use it against him.

“I will take it then.” Qian Jin threw it into his Warrior Dimension and raised his hand again to catch a red magic core thrown from Cech Flet – it was Fire Berserk Cactus’ Magic Core.

Compared to Sand Python’s Magic Core, this was bigger in size. It was the size of a human head. However, the magic contained in it was much weaker compared to Sand Python’s. This was the difference between a mid-tier Demon Beast and a high-tier Demon Beast.

A Mid-level Demon Beast would only know how to increase the magic power, and the Magic Core would increase as a result. In fact, the size of the magic core was proportionate the Demon Beast’s real magic power.

But when a Mid-level Demon Beast evolved into a High-level Demon Beast, it would learn how to compress the huge Magic Core into a small size. It was rumored that a rice-size magic core could contain the magic power that could kill hundreds of Supreme Mages and Ultimate Mages.

“Qian Jin…” Duren Burg looked at the Magic Core with greed in his eyes. “Do you think it has the special ability to grow spikes on the body?”

Qian Jin looked at the Magic Core and thought, “In theory, the magic core of every Fire Berserk Cactus would have this ability, but the huge cactus looked like a smooth carrot and didn’t have any spikes.”

Qian Jin played with the Magic Core in his hands as he asked, “I will try to see what is in here. Why? You are interested in that ability?”

“Don’t you think that would be cool?” Duren Burg smiled at Qian Jin. “If I have a ton of spikes on my body, and every spike contains the poison of the Sand Python. Then if I jump into a troop of Demons…”

Qian Jin was a little stunned by Duren Burg’s thoughts. It was a crazy idea. Numerous spikes with poison flying everywhere, it was even more terrifying than his Chain Arrows.

The poison of the Sand Python was a great supporting ability in a 1 versus 1 battle, then the spikes of the Fire Berserk Cactus mixed with the poison would be a great tool when he was fighting against many.

Pam Honzi who was listening to this conversation looked at Duren Burg with interest. “This young man has a talent for fighting. Unlike many Hydra Bloodline Warriors, he considers the coordination between the abilities and not just the abilities of high-level Demon Beasts.” He thought.

“Why isn’t this talent in Pam Family?” He felt a little depressed. A monster like Qian Jin had the Qian Family’s blood, but Duren Burg has the blood of Pam Family. But now, this warrior had taken on the family name of Duren and not Pam.

Qian Jin did what Duren Burg did and lied in the sand. He sensed the chilliness of the sand. The night had secretly got rid of the heat of the daytime.

“The stars are beautiful.” Lucifer Lucy lied right next to Qian Jin, and her voice was unprecedented soft and real. “For so long. I hadn’t taken a good look at the stars in so long. Shiny, far away, and filled with mystery.”

Qian Jin turned his head and looked at this beautiful demon girl. After she dropped the coquettish expressions and the haughtiness of the princess, this Fallen Angel had a rare naïve yet clear beauty to her.

A variety… Rosella was beautiful, Gomez Jane was beautiful as well. They all had their own beauty. Rosella was young and fresh, Gomez Jane was cold and elegant.

But Lucifer Lucy? She was sexy, naïve, sad… it changed too fast. It was hard for Qian Jin to tell which one was the real her. Maybe all of it was real, and maybe all of it was fake.
