Closed Beta That Only I Played

Chapter 429 - One Plus One (1)

Chapter 429: One Plus One (1)

Finally, I was not far off from the target Royal District 10.

“Man, there’s too many.”

Fashant, the owner of the 7th Royal District, challenged me in a one-on-one match. But the owner of the 10th Royal District didn’t seem to want a one-on-one match with me. There were so many people confronting me not only inside the 10th Royal District, but also outside it. It was not just ten thousand, but much more than that.

My attacks had limits, even though I could confront them, no matter how many there were. They were clustered together, but due to the limit of my striking range, I could not kill them all at once. Obviously, not all of them were elite players. Some of them could be mediocre players because they were divided into the Royal, Major, Regular, and Rookie districts according to their competence. What’s more, there were countless people who could not even fall into such categories, just like those people on earth who were incompetent but liked to bluff tohers.

But it didn’t matter to me even if they were not bluffing.

Because of my excessively high stamina and health, not to mention my items that were in the top 0.001%, I usually penetrated into the middle of the enemy camp and defended my body with my physical attacks. But it was guerilla tactics that I could use better than anybody else.

Why? Because my striking range was pretty huge, and Blink with zero cooldown was perfect for attacking and escaping from my opponents.

“Alright. I’ve more or less prepared, so let me go ahead!”

I agonized over it a bit, but I decided to take action, given the enormous efforts they made to mobilize such a large number of people.

After making the decision, I didn’t have to delay any longer, so I moved towards the enemies.

As soon as they noticed me, they shouted to each other.

“Intruder!”

“The intruder has appeared in the 9 o’clock direction!”

“Everyone, don’t be distracted!”

“Calm down! There is only one enemy!”

I had no intention of hiding myself from them. Given the huge number of the enemies, I didn’t think that I could slip by them either.

Not caring about the shouts of the enemies who noticed me, I stopped far from them, and opened my mouth gently.

“Ice Field! Multiple Thin Ice!”

Pasasasasak!

An ice terrain thicker and wider than I imagined was created in an instant.

Then I moved close to them using Blink with zero cooldown.

“Blizzard!”

Puck! Puck! Puck! Puck!

I used my most powerful AOE skill.

Since I decided to use guerilla tactics, I hit and ran instead of responding to their counterattacks.

Of course, they didn’t sit back and do nothing.

They began to counterattack.

Puck! Puck! Bang! Bang!

[…]

But I was already far away from them. No matter how often and strongly they attacked me, their attacks simply struck the air or the ground, not me.

And my Blizzard was showing tremendous power, as usual.

“Damn it!”

“Move!”

“Shit, why has my health dropped so fast?”

“Kheeeeeeek!”

“Damn it!”

They were literally clustered together so closely. So most of them could not avoid my Blizzard. As a result, they ended up falling one by one.

Flop!

Flop!

Flop!

Numerous people collapsed like that.

At the same time, a series of messages kept ringing.

[You have succeeded in getting rid of the daily quota of 10 people on the 14th day.

-You have accumulated bonus points because you have killed 325,589 more enemies in addition to your daily quota.

*You will receive additional rewards when you go back to the earth successfully.

*You will receive additional rewards when you return to the earth successfully.

]

First of all, I didn’t pay much attention to the messages.

Instead, I moved to the other side of the enemies this time using Blink with zero cooldown.

“Watch out to your right!”

“The invader has appeared on the right!”

“Attack!”

“Soaring Fire Pillar!”

“Biting Wind!”

“Dancing Fireworks!”

:

:

“Biting Wind Spirit Attack!”

“Triple Shot!”

Since there were so many enemies, those standing where I appeared using Blink with zero cooldown showered me with numerous attacks.

Of course, I could ignore their attacks, but I deliberately avoided them again because I intended to show them how futile their attacks were even if they had such a large numbers advantage.

Using Blink with zero cooldown, I avoided their attacks and moved to their opposite side. Of course, they discovered me again immediately, but this time I was definitely faster than them.

“Ice Tornado! Pouring Hail!”

Wheeeeeeeeeng-

Pitter-patter! Pitter-patter!

I kept using AOE skills, then retreated as if to make fun of them.

“Damn it!”

“Counterattack! Strike back!”

“Shit! How can I strike back when he is so far away from us?”

“You do it if you can!”

It was a perfect hit and run guerilla tactic.

Enraged by my tactic, some of them broke their rank and charged at me.

In other words, they set their feet on the Ice Field and Multiple Thin Ice that I already laid out for them.

Naturally, I poured my usual skills on them.

“Ice Ball! Ice Bolt! Multiple Ice Arrow!

Puck! Puck! Puck! Puck!

This time, I used Ice Ball and Ice Bolt with no cooldown, as well as Multiple Ice Arrow that had little cooldown. And that was more than enough to kill them.

As a matter of fact, my Ice Field overlapped with Multiple Thin Ice was not a mere debuff designed to reduce the enemy’s moving speed.

After that, I used hit and run tactics several times.

Of course, that didn’t mean that the number of enemies decreased significantly because there were simply too many.

But the important thing was that my health was still 100%, and even though I used skills freely, my mana was also close to 100%. And I didn’t feel tired at all.

In other words, I could keep attacking them endlessly.

I had a broad smile on my lips because of the rapidly accumulating bonus points.

Anyway, I kept destroying my enemies with guerrilla tactics.

A little later, I could hear the enemies starting to complain.

“Damn it!”

“What the heck is this?”

“We confronted the wrong target from the beginning! He is the man who beat Fashant, the ruler of the 7th Royal District! We can’t beat him with just numbers!”

Nobody in Revival Legend or in reality have ever tried to use a numbers advantage to beat me because they all knew it would not work.

But only now did these guys here realize it, and it was too late.

So I was busy attacking them after laying out Ice Field overlapped with Multiple Thin Ice. Ignorance is definitely a sin these days. If one committed a crime, one should be punished. So I was making them pay a dear price for their ignorance.

Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!
