Awakened: Evolving to Godhood

Chapter 213: Prison

Chapter 213: Prison

[-400000 units of the essence of life]

A tremendous amount of the essence of life charged into the godly matrix that was one with Elliot’s soul, getting absorbed into it. Right after, his thoughts started to take shape in the real world, and everyone’s eyes began to widen like saucers.

A blast of golden energy dashed out of Elliot and shot up to the skies, brightening up the white & grey zone in pure gold. It was as if the sky and the seas had flipped places, as if a sea of gold had suddenly manifested in the middle of the once cold, dark sky. Then, uncountable numbers of threads charged out of this ocean. All of them dashed to the ground, impaling deep inside of it. Elliot’s creation came to a complete when a massive cage that one would use to imprison millions of pigeons got made out of the outstretching golden threads. However, the pigeons in this cage were none other than the serpentine devils and the beasts that had decided to support them. It was extensively wide and long, covering the sky and the land.

What just happened caused a sense of absurdity to fill the eyes of every single person involved in this situation. Tyler Barnes and the ones who were making a run for it came to an abrupt halt as they found themselves trapped in a cage with not even a passageway to escape.

“Unbelievable!”

Although most of the onlookers were Magic Lords and Kings, their eyes bulged uncontrollably. They couldn’t help it. Their bodies were trembling in genuine excitement, and one couldn’t blame them for that. After all, in their minds, the cage made out of strings was nothing else than a field-type ability kingdom, and its creator was a youngster of the magician community.

There were three types of ability kingdoms, namely, offensive, defensive, and field type. Only the last one was capable of changing heaven and earth. The most popular one belonged to two of the four emperors. One could create a frozen paradise while the other could entrap everything in a sea of fire. Yet, Elliot’s field-type ability kingdom was different than them both as it only trapped everything inside of a cage. They wondered what other capabilities it possessed, and we’re looking forward to seeing it.

The ignorant youngsters who were peeping from far away saw that the higher-ups were shocked and wondered what caused that.

Seeing through them, the inquisitor leader opened his mouth and said, “Ability Kingdom—it’s a magic technique that only kings and emperors can utilize in the magician community. However, now it’s being used by the teenager in front of you.”

The words of the inquisitor shocked the ignorant onlookers so much that they remained speechless for a while. After all, Elliot was too young, but he was using an ability kingdom. Wasn’t that something simply unbelievable?! Only after a couple of seconds did a commotion burst out in the crowd as people started murmuring and whispering. They were acting as if they had seen Mt. Tai.

“How could this happen? The situation had become even more ridiculous. Now, there’s no chance that he would lose. He’s bound to come out of the settlement with the highest level of loot, resulting in us losing a bet, a lot of our face, and a lot of treasures. God damn it!”

The cheeks of Lady Charlotte and Young Master Regis turned beet red. They were among the many who weren’t happy to see Elliot’s overpowering display of strength.

Anyway, everyone understood one thing at the moment. There’s always a mountain beyond a beyond. With time, common-sense changes as the new generation bring forth wonders and perform miracles that make no sense, such as using ability kingdom at such a young age.

The highly respected magicians managed to suppress their shock and looked at the holographic screen, wanting to see what would happen next.

Inside Elliot’s Celestial Cage.

Tyler Barnes, the devil bull, and the rest of the criminals who had betrayed their home and race were panicking and sweating profusely.

“We have nowhere to run to now.”

Furthermore, they could see Elliot leisurely walking towards them. Elliot intentionally didn’t want to end the fun so soon. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have trapped them in a cage. They all saw a sadistic smile on his face and realized that he was the manifestation of their worst nightmare. The judge they feared the most and the person who would bestow them with death was going to reach them in a couple of minutes —knowing that they couldn’t help but want to run away. Yet, their escape route had gotten cut off.

“What should we do?”

“What can we do except try to carve open a path in this cage?”

Well, Tyler’s words made sense. It’s not like they could put up a fight against a monster like Elliot. Their only chance of making it out alive was breaking through the barrier.

Thus, many beasts released their attacks towards the thick walls made out of threads. Tyler, of course, didn’t make a move and only looked at them, trying to break it. He wanted to make sure that no hidden mechanism would get activated from attacking the cage’s wall.

Their attacks crashed on it, exploding and producing a resounding reverberation. However, after the dust and fog cleared up, they saw that not even a single scratch formed on it.

Immediately after, a few of the hard-headed ones charged straight towards the cage’s wall, smashing their flesh on it.

Almost as if the cage had a will of its own that they angered by attacking it, again and again, thousands of threads with sharp-triangular ends shot out towards Tyler and the beasts around him.

Golden rays of light flashed in the air as the ends of the thread carrying extreme sharpness penetrated the hearts and beheaded the heads of many living beings. Tyler Barnes managed to deflect the ones coming towards him; even then, he lost an arm.
