He heard that they were attacked by the Dark Guild so he hurriedly came here to check on their situation.

The two people in front of him were members of the Dark Guild that has been hiding in the city. 

"Haha, you two have really concealed yourself very well. Who knew Dark Guild members like you now dared to enter the city wantonly even becoming silver-ranked adventurers. Unfortunately for the two of you, this will be the last day that you will become one." The beggar-like man said arrogantly.
