"Do you find her sexy?"

The words that escaped Kuys mouth made Ban's body shiver. He did not know how to respond to Kuys. Although Kuys always teased him, it was different this time as he already had knowledge about sexual things. 

His heartbeat became faster as he turned his head to the side. Kuys noticed his reaction and he could not help but to laugh out loud by his reaction. He also noticed that Ban's ears became red all of sudden. It was his first time seeing this kind of reaction from Ban, he does not want to lose this rare opportunity as he decided to inquire about it more. 

"Come on Ban-kiddo! No need to worry, I won't snitch on you!" He said with a smile. 

Grrr! Grrr!

Seeing that Ban was in a tight situation, Eva suddenly stopped eating as she went in between them before growling angrily towards Kuys. She did noy understand what they were talking about but she knew that Ban was in trouble. Even though she still did not forgive Ban about yesterday, helping him all the time was her duty. 

Kuys was taken aback by the reaction of Eva. He was surprised as he did not expect that the Demon Ant would go and defend Ban even though there was no danger. 

'What an intelligent Summon. She has potential! He thought as he stared at Eva who was still grinning her teeth towards him. 

Kuys laughed at the scene as he finally decided to retreat for now. However, he was already cooking something in mind, just so the ship would sail smoothly. 

Ban lets out a sigh of relief upon seeing that Kuys finally decided to stop. He felt glad about Eva's action as he secretly gave her a huge thumbs up. 

Seeing that Kuys had retreated, Eva nodded her head cutely as she decided to go back to her plate to continue eating. Ban also did the same as he decided to ignore the smiling Kuys in front of him. 

"About them… Are they okay now? Was the ritual successful?" Ban curiously asks. 

Kuys tilted his head as he looked at Ban with a knowing look. "Yeah, they are already fine. However, they still haven't woken up yet. Do you want to check her Ban-kiddo?" 

"N-no! I'll just see them when they are already okay." Ban responded. 

After that, he quickened his eating pace and also urged Eva to do the same. He was afraid that Kuys would ask him questions like earlier again. 

"Anyways, Ban-kiddo, how's your sleep these days?" Kuys asked worriedly. He wants to know if the Elder Monk Tree branch really did manage to solve his sleeping problem. Because if not, he would help him search for alternatives. 

"Y-yeah, much better than before," Ban answered. 

Although what he was doing could not be called sleeping as he had been cultivating every night all the way to the morning. However, his body would always feel rejuvenated after waking up so he thought that it was really better than sleeping normally. 

"Good! Just keep on using them then. Just tell me if you already finished all of your Elder Monk Tree and I will give you some. Or you can just go and harvest again for your own as you already knew the location of the Elder Monk Trees anyway." 

"I will... thank you!" 

After he finished eating, Ban immediately went to the Adventurers Guild to see if he could find any good Quest that also leads to the Yellow Desert. His plan for today was to go gather the white spikes of the Boney Porcupine for his pending mission. 

He already has the complete spine of the Hairy Boar, five branches of Elder Monk Tree, as well as the 2 years old Glass Ginger. 

The only material that he needed to collect was the 5 cups of Pur River Water, and 3 White Spikes of a Boney Porcupine. 

He was already on his way towards the Boney Porcupines habitat and the only thing that he still did not have any idea of where to get aside from the auction was the Pure River Water.

With its usefulness, he also felt doubtful if he would be able to get 5 cups of it with the little amount of money he have even if it really appeared on the auction. 

However, Ban later decided to ignore it for now and focus on the Boney Porcupines first. 

He arrived at Adventurers Guild a moment later and he decided to go towards the Quest area immediately. 

After a few minutes of searching, he did not manage to find any Quest that can be accepted with his Wood Badge. However, there was one that was a C-Grade Quest so he decided to return again as 'Leon'. 

He then ripped off the Quest paper and handed it to the receptionist to record. 

However, it seems that she was still doubtful whether he really had the capability to complete the Quest so Ban handed her the Gold Badge and only then did she take him seriously.

"Wait for a moment as I'll call the person who issued the Quest!" The receptionist said before turning around. 

The Quest he accepted this time was a Quest that involves another Adventurer to be present. 

Basically, the Quest issuer wanted to search for someone capable of killing a bird type Beast. She wanted to see with her own eyes how one would kill a bird type Beast called, Wood Swallow! 

It was an E-Elite Rank Beast that can only be found on the Yellow Desert and upon checking the coordinates, Ban realized that the place was actually near the habitat of the Boney Porcupines. 

He did not know the reason why they just wanted to observe while killing it, and not kill it themselves, but he thought that they might not know how to kill one yet. The Wood Swallow was rather tricky to locate in the first place, so it might also be one of the reasons why the issuer wanted to see it for herself.

It was the perfect Quest for Ban as the moment he mentioned the Beast's name, the System immediately injected the knowledge and information of the Beast deep inside his brain. He was able to understand it clearly a moment later, and he no longer had any problem about killing the said Beast, much more locate it.

Anyways, the Quest has a huge reward of 2000 Gold Coins upon completion. The Quest also stated clearly that the Quest issuer would not take any of the Beast parts, and all they wanted was to observe. 

Ban thought that the rewards were bountiful enough, so he immediately decided that it was the one that he needed to accept. 

A while later, the receptionist returned with two people beside her. To Ban's surprise, he actually knew both of them. It was the small girl, Belle and her bodyguard, a Silver Rank Adventurer, Delo.

However, Ban did not forget that he was currently acting as 'Leon' so he just maintained his composure as he waited for them to approach him. 

"Mr. Leon, she's the one who issued the Quest, her name's Belle. She's just a Wood Rank Adventurer yet but the Guild Leader has high hopes for her to ascend the ranks quickly. The guy here is her bodyguard, he's a Silver Rank Adventurer." The receptionist introduced them to Ban, not knowing that he already knew them. 

The receptionist then turned towards the two as she said, "This gentleman here is Mr. Leon, a Gold Rank Adventurer. He's the one who accepted the Quest you issued." 

"Hello, Mr. Leon. Nice to meet you!" Belle said with a friendly smile as she extended her hands towards 'Leon'. 

"Same!" Ban replied simply with the voice produced by the Ant Mask as he also extended his hands for a handshake. 

Upon hearing his voice, Belle was quite startled as she instinctively withdrew her hands. However, she later realized what she had done so she immediately bowed her head to apologize and extended her hand again. 

Fortunately, it was successful this time, or else, Ban would really have thought that she was purposely doing it. 

Delo was also acting quite cold at first, even when the receptionist introduced him as a Gold Rank Adventurer. However, the moment he heard his voice, he also instinctively tightened his guard, as for the first time, he felt afraid and confused about someone's voice. 

It sounded near, yet also far. It was really strange. 

He nodded his head towards Ban silently as he silently observed him, as well the cracked Ant Mask. 

Ban noticed his gaze and unlike before, he did not back down as he also stared back directly into his eyes. 

Unknowingly, with the combination of both the Ant Mask, the Noble Moth Cloak, and Ban's intent, a formless pressure was suddenly released around him as he stared at Delo without backing down. 

When Delo saw the pitch-black eyes of 'Leon', he suddenly felt that he was being stared back by the abyss. Just as he was about to turn around to avoid the gaze, he suddenly felt suffocated as he saw a dark hand gripping his neck coming out from Leon's back. 

  The receptionist and Belle also felt the sudden change of atmosphere as well as the pressure that appeared on the air all of a sudden. However, as they were not the one who was stared by Ban, they could not see the same thing that Delo had witnessed. 

They just felt their heartbeat racing and nothing more.. Even the Adventurers around also turned their heads towards them as they also felt the same way as that of Belle and the receptionist.
