Almighty Summoner System

She was confused there for a second but nevertheless, she did not let that 'small' matter affect her. There was a chance as well that the boy was not an Adventurer, so him having no particular reaction from hearing the 'Silver Rank' part was not that odd if it was really the truth. 

She also did not think about him being a Silver Rank already as he looks young, and might even be someone who just got awakened.

However, the reason was actually far from that. Ban already has a Gold Rank Adventurer Badge sitting on his Dimensional Storage, a Silver Rank could just no longer amaze him.

"Oh- so it was just a misunderstanding?" Ban said innocently, but deep inside he was still actually wary of the woman. His hand never loosened over the sword as he was ready to strike at any given moment. 

  Even Eva was also ready to attack if necessary.

"Yeah! Are you also perhaps doing the quest for the extermination of the Two-Tailed Rats? And what's your name?" She asked to confirm whether he's a competitor or not. 

"Ahh- My name's Ban. And no, if you're talking about the official Quest from the Guild, then no. I'm just doing a… a friend a favor, the rats have been obstructing his business so he requested for me to eradicate them. " Ban answered truthfully.

  "And, are you done with it already? Are there still any Two-Tailed Rats left below?" She asked curiously. Her next move will depend on his answer. 

"Not that I know of. But yeah, I'm already done killing them." 

Hearing that, her eyes immediately lit up as if she realized something. 

"Well… okay I'll get going and proceed with my quest now!" She excitedly ran towards the crack and jumped in without any warning. 

She did not believe that Ban had really located and killed all the Two-Tailed Rats. She thought that he was only talking about one or two Two-Tailed Rat. 

Ban just watched her as she jumped over the crack. He already told her that he already killed all the Two-Tailed Rats underneath but he was confused as to why she still excitedly ran towards it like a baby. 

"What a strange woman!" Ban whispered as he walked away from the area to return home already. 

He wanted to report this immediately to Boss and Mario and Kuys so that it would be over already. Although his body does not feel tired due to the constant effect of the 'Absorber' his mind still felt tired due to the many events that transpired for the whole day. 

He wanted to go and take a shower and sleep early for today. His clothes have become like a rag due to the battle he experienced earlier. 

Meanwhile, Manda had just arrived at the first dead body of a Two-Tailed Rat. Seeing its state, she could not help but feel convinced that Ban was really someone who has worth. 

For him to kill an X-Mortal Rank Beast, that was already an achievement. 

She continued forward and before she knew it, she already saw a dozen dead Two-Tailed Eats corpses lying around. 

Usually, a single nest of Two-Tailed Rats only has upto fifteen members. She already witnessed fourteen and she was startled as she did not expect that he was really able to kill off the Two-Tailed Rats. 

"He was really not lying!" She said as she kneeled on the wet ground to observe the wounds of the dead Two-Tailed Rats. 

There was a clean cut wound on the rats skin while there are also others who got bashed to death. She was confused about the different battle tactics but she later forgot about it as she waves the lamp on her hand to light the path ahead. 

And at the same time the lamp's light landed in that area, she immediately saw a shocking scene that made her break into a cold sweat. 

Two-Tailed Rats dead bodies were scattered everywhere. She could not count the exact numbers but she knew that it was on a different level compared to the one she witnessed earlier. 

"What the hell! Why are there so many of them? Is this a multiple nests of Two-Tailed Rats? And more importantly, who killed them all? That kid? No, impossible! It can't be!" She said in a rapid state as she could not handle the shock she just experienced. 

For one thing, it was her first time seeing so many Two-Tailed Rats at once and they were even already dead. If this was really a rare case of multiple nests, then she no longer can complete this Quest alone. 

She felt terrified at the thought of that multiple nests, but before she can go back and report it to the Adventurers Guild, she still needs to confirm it firsthand. 

Besides, her curiosity was very piqued right now as she wanted to see if the same scene could still be witnessed in the inner place of this tunnel?

And so, she drew out her weapon and ordered her Summon, Blue Eagle Monster to prepare for a fight, and even to an ambush. With the lamp imbued with the luminous stone on her hand, she slowly walks forward, stepping over the corpses of the dead Two-Tailed Rats. 

While doing so, she also observed their wounds and to her surprise, they were still the same as that earlier. 

And just as her raging emotion started to calm down, she suddenly arrived in the spacious area where the Unknown Egg was present. 

At this point, her emotion started to act rage, and this time, the emotion called fear was the one at the top. 

"What the hell is happening? How can there's so many of them at one place! And that kid, was he really that strong? Was that the reason why he did not even flinch the moment I mentioned my rank? No, it can't, he's too young! He might have a helper or he might have only killed the first two corpses I saw earlier!" 

"But before thinking about that! I need to get out of here as soon as possible first."
