Abyssal Lord of the Magi World

Chapter 717: Third Ignition (I)

Chapter 717: Third Ignition (I)

A massive Outlandish Beast of Emptiness moved through a mountain range of the Empty World. The creature’s eyes were full of wildness, but that was not all, as one could also find frustration and a hint of fear in them.

Those feelings made sense if you consider the multiple wounds over the Outlandish Beast of Emptiness’ body, all in vital points or zones that diminished its battle power.

A creature like this, born to endure the harsh environment of the Emptiness, had incredible regenerative powers. Still, there was a silver aura with golden threads infecting the wounds, making it impossible for the Outlandish Beast of Emptiness to mend them.

Suddenly, the Outlandish Best of Emptiness’ eyes narrowed as it raised its massive claw and stamped to its left, where a humanoid was emerging from the ground.

That attack completely shattered the humanoid’s body, but just as the creature smiled, the clouds above its head also formed a humanoid.

The one in the sky had three silver stars with golden threads floating around his head, and a plasma halo over his back and forehead that drew an immense amount of World Strength.

Ezequiel descended from the sky, accompanied by an incredible amount of World Strength. His attack was swift and landed in the space between the creature’s skull and spine.

“¡AHHHHH!”

The Outlandish Beast of Emptiness roared in pain, but Ezequiel had altered the vibrations around them to hide the signs of a battle.

Not even a millisecond after his strike connected, Ezequiel vanished from above the Outlandish Beast of Emptiness, right in time to avoid hundreds of bone spikes.

The Outlandish Beast of Emptiness was full of rage, but it was also surprised as it saw the humanoid not leaving. It had endured ambushes over the last years, and after every strike, the enemy would use some tactic to escape.

However, the humanoid not only did not escape, but his aura rose as World Strength increasingly entered his body.

“AHHH!” The Outlandish Beast of Emptiness roared again, this time with rage, madness, and killing intent.

Ezequiel’s eyes also contained an overflowing killing intent as he focused on the Outlandish Beast of Emptiness. More than eighty years had passed since he entered the Empty World, and he had grown incredibly powerful.

The Sacred Trial seemed to have a power blocking him from evolving his True Soul Path of Power, but the good thing was that there was no such restriction on his True Doomsday Body Path of Power.

Killing the parasites had helped him develop Outer Origin Essence and Inner Origin Essence and train Return to Origin to the peak of Small Success.

Good things did not end there, as Entropy had awakened around thirty years after he entered the Trial of Life. Just like devouring those parasites was helpful for Ezequiel, it also helped the Sanctus Battle Partner’s growth.

Once Entropy reached Peak Rank 7, Ezequiel chose to fight an Outlandish Beast of Emptiness. It seemed not to have fully grown, and its power only reached the Initial Beyond Limit Stage.

Nevertheless, even with Entropy, the fight was hard, especially since Ezequiel did not just want to kill it.

The Supreme Neo-Demon crippled the Outlandish Beast of Emptiness and then used it to ignite the Astral Black Hole in his liver.

Although Outlandish Beasts of Emptiness were strong, their minds and willpower were nothing impressive.

Ezequiel performed his Second Ignition without a problem, and to his surprise, not only did his physical power increase, but the Astral Black Hole began to release a black aura that mutated his body similarly to Return to Origin.

That is the reason for the golden threads in his Silver Stars of Origin.

Now that his body had fully adjusted to the rising Astral Origin and the power of the second Astral Black Hole, Ezequiel planned to use a fully grown Outlandish Beast of Emptiness to perform the Third Ignition.

The creature in front of the Supreme Neo-Demon almost reached the Beyond Redemption Stage and was several times stronger than one at the Initial Beyond Limit Stage, so Ezequiel did not dare to be careless and chose to weaken it before starting the final fight.

Once both pushed their auras to their peak, they lunged toward the other.

“¡BOOM!”

A massive blast of silver and black energy occurred as Ezequiel’s fist and the Outlandish Beast of Emptiness claw collided.

The creature’s power almost overwhelmed the Supreme Neo-Demon, but the pressure on its body worsened its wounds, making its claw tremble and lose control.

Ezequiel’s eyes narrowed, and he took full advantage of that opening. He pushed the claw away and flashed toward the Outlandish Beast of Emptiness’ neck, using his entire body like a hammer.

The Outlandish Beast of Emptiness felt the blow crush its throat, but that did not stop it from using one of its claws to push the Supreme Neo-Demon away.

Ezequiel saw the massive claw coming at him, but there was nothing he could do to stop it or dodge it. The strike sent him flying away, blood leaking out of his mouth.

His body crashed against several mounts, destroying all of them before being buried under one.

Although the Outlandish Beast of Emptiness would have wanted to continue its onslaught, blood did not stop coming out of its maws due to the severe internal damage it endured.

“¡BOOM!”

A blast of energy drew the creature’s attention, and it saw the Supreme Neo-Demon rising from the debris as a silver aura with golden arcs covered its body.

Ezequiel’s six golden arms and three faces covered in blood made him resemble a divine asura.

The Outlandish Beast of Emptiness felt a great danger coming from the humanoid, but its wild nature made it react like an enraged beast.

They fought with all they had, unleashing powers that completely altered the terrain around them. If the battle had occurred in a Principal World, the damage would have enraged the World Consciousness, but the Lord of Emptiness designed the Empty World to endure fights at the Primarch level.
