Young Master in the Apocalypse

199 Winner

Borya seemed to be in a good condition, there were no visible injuries on his body. The audience in Viktor’s camp turned pale. Their fighter couldn’t be seen in the arena. From this condition, they could take a guess on what had happened. “So we lost in the first round, huh?”

Meanwhile, the audience in the Red Faction camp started cheering and whistling as if they had known who the winner was.

However, the judge hadn’t decided on the winner. The battle wasn’t over yet.

Borya opened his eyes wide, searching for the figure of his enemy, but he couldn’t find anyone in the arena other than himself.

“Come out, you bitch!” Show yourself! Are you afraid of fighting me?” Borya mocked Jessie, trying to lure her out of her hiding. Still, no one came out. The audience in the Red Faction camp started roaring and insulting Jessie, who was hiding herself.

“Show yourself! Or just go back to the kitchen.”

“Bitch!”

Vulgar words were resounded throughout the air. The audience in Viktor’s camp didn’t go down; they insulted the Red Faction’s audience back.

“Shut your mouth, you bastards!”-.

The battle arena heated. Both of the faction was fighting each other with words. Anna was getting worried. She took a glance at Victor, waiting for him to take action, but he stood still while looking at the arena.

On the other hand, Borya was on his guard. Although his opponent was at the Sky Realm initial stage, he couldn’t let her guard down because anything could happen during a battle.

Seeing no presence of Jessie after waiting for a while, the judge determined his decision. His hand was raised as he said, “Since the fighter didn’t show up, then the winner-“

Blast! Thud–!

Thunderbolts struck above the sky. Borya dodged it to the side. Only a second later he was late, he would be dead meat. Fortunately, he had a good reflex. Borya was chosen as a fighter for a reason. Before the post-apocalypse, he was a Spetsnaz soldier. He had many experiences on the battlefield, both in combat or massive scale battles. His instinct was quite sharp to know when there was an attack aiming at him.

But, the thunderbolt strikes hadn’t stopped yet. In split seconds, the thunderbolts were striking at Borya.

Blast! Blast! Blast!

The whole arena was rained downed by thunderbolts. The audience in Viktor’s camp was cheering and shouting their fighter’s name, along with the deafening sound of the battle.

“Jessies! Jessie! Jessie!”

Viktor heaved a sigh of relief. From behind the metal mask, his lips formed a faint smile.

Whereas Borya’s expression darkened. He had a hard time on fighting Jessie. He jumped back and forth to avoid the thunderbolts. There was no time for him to cast a defensive magic.

He could withstand it if it was one or two thunderbolts, but the thunderbolts beat him repeatedly. Even if he was at the Sky Realm peak stage, he could lose his life anytime.

“Show yourself, bitch! How long are you going to hide?”

Borya was at the deadlock. He racked his brain out. While dodging the thunderbolts, he contemplated where Jessie’s hideout was in the vast space of the arena.

“I know where you’re hiding!”

Bory cast a short magic spell, [Ice Bullet], then ice beads at the size of the tip of an index finger started to form in the thin air. Not long after, ice bullets bombarded the stack of snow on the ground.

Tratataa! Trarara!

The thunderbolt strikes abruptly stopped.

Borya stopped jumping up and down. He smiled as he had found out where Jessie was.

“So, you hide under the stack of snow!” He laughed crazily. Hence, he charged forward to the snow.

Tratatatat! Tratatat!

He repeatedly bombarded the ice bullets towards the snow on the ground for about 10 minutes straight. Then he stopped because he didn’t find Jessie there. His eyes narrowed at the thick stack of snow covering the ground. If Jessie was there, the snow would turn scarlet with blood.

Borya was breaking in a cold sweat. His eyes wandered on alert.

As Borya focused on his surroundings, he didn’t notice that the stack of snow beneath his feet shook. The snow was melting as a blue light appeared.

Blast!

“Aaarrrrgh!”

Thunderbolts flashed from the thick stack of snow, electrocuting Borya with high voltage. Jessie was right under Borya.

But the thunderbolts were was not strong enough to overthrow Borya. The gap between their strengths was too wide. He could still stand strong, although he had stunned by electricity. It was just that his body couldn’t move.

However, the attack was just the beginning.

With her pole, Jessie stabbed Borya in the groin. Borya screamed immediately as the iron bar hit his testicles. Tears flowed from his eyes. His knees were too weak as he helplessly fall to the ground. The male audience could feel the pain Borya felt even though they saw it from afar, including Viktor.

Jessie quickly rolled over.

The bald-headed man was kneeling while holding his crotch. His expression was as if he had been sentenced to death.

Jessie was covered in wounds as bloods were all over on her clothes. She stood in front of Borya.

“Aaaa i am sorry, that must be hurt”

Bam!

The iron pole hit Borya’s chin. He collapsed and lost his consciousness straight away.

The judge’s face was pale. He couldn’t believe what he had just witnessed. Then he shook his head and quickly got to work. He raised his hand.

“The winner is Jessie Wineberries. The first round is won by the Northstar side!”

The arena rumbled in joy. Viktor’s camp cheered triumphantly as Jessie’s name could be heard throughout the arena repeatedly.

“Jessie! Jessie! Jessie!”

Even though Jessie had won the battle, there was no sign of joy on her face. She lost a lot of blood . Her legs were limp and in split seconds she fall.

But, Viktor caught her before she collapsed to the ground. “Good job, Jessie.”

With a deathly pale face, Jessie smiled. “Hehe, i am glad you like it.”

With this, the first round ended.
