Vampire Overlord System in the Apocalypse

As Noah was finally alone, he decided to quickly use the Cores he had gathered.

Receiving a great boost of power and several energies going around his body, he closed his eyes and meditated for a bit.

Slowly, he perceived the energy that the Blood Core on his chest emanated.

He decided to slowly guide these energies within his body, the ones that the Cores gave him, and then moved them to his own Core, intensifying the power, which then flowed back to his body repeatedly.

By doing this simple task several times in a row, Noah felt like a small bit of power was being slowly unlocked on his Blood Core.

"I can feel it… the hidden powers within the Blood Core… The ones that the Blood Progenitor said I would be able to unlock as I became stronger… Could it be possible to unlock them faster if I use the energy I gain from Cores like this?" wondered Noah, as he continued his meditation.

"W-What?! As he just becomes even better at Blood Core Cultivation?! This damn genius! To think that he was just a shrimp before I granted him all of this power, and now he just becomes a genius at the cultivation of my own world like that?!" sighed the Blood Progenitor, as he recalled his original world.

And how he came to be a Boss.

"Having lived so long in Abyss, the world of Vampires, just to end up being killed by a raid of Hunters from this measly world… and now, I am trapped in the body of one of these humans… Is this the karma of all the sins I committed in Abyss? Cursed Sun Heralds!" he thought, recalling his days in his original world, where he reigned a large territory.

Abyss, a world filled with Vampires, where the Sun God and the Moon Goddess once reigned, however, the first Vampire to have been born, known as the Blood God, sealed the Sun God and seduced the Moon Goddess, making her his concubine.

The world that was once in perfect brilliance at day and in perfect darkness at night became one of eternal darkness and night, with a moon shining brightly in crimson red, due to this, it was renamed as Abyss by their new inhabitants.

The children of the Sun God, the Sun Herald, were pushed back by the new race of Vampires, who governed in the eternal night.

Aiming to free their God, the Sun Heralds plotted the defeat of the strongest figures of Abyss' Vampires, and one of them was him, the Blood Progenitor.

"If it wasn't because they set me up in that Sunlight Barrier! However, rifts in Abyss had already begun to occur, bringing monsters from other worlds and well… these Humans who call themselves 'hunters'. At first, it was easy to defeat them, but stronger and stronger groups emerged… until those that call themselves S-Rank emerged, and my defeat came promptly after…" sighed the Blood Progenitor.

"So that's what happened…" said Noah.

"EH?!" cried the Blood Progenitor.

"So you come from a world named Abyss… and guys that resemble angels named Sun Heralds set you up in a barrier of some sort? The Hunters entered through the rifts that appear in here and killed you, calling your manor a dungeon…" said Noah.

"Y-You…! Did you read my Mind?!" asked the Blood Progenitor.

"When you begin thinking this intensively, I can more or less read it through the combination of my Telepathy Skill. Well, now it became even easier as I think I unlocked a bit more of power from my Blood Core," said Noah.

"Y-You!" roared the Blood Progenitor in anger.

"Now tell me more about that other world… And what you call "Cultivation", alright?" asked Noah.

"I… If I tell you more, you will only grow stronger… (And that's not what I want if I one day have to take over his body…)" said the Blood Progenitor.

"Let me tell you something. I am not asking you to tell me, I am ordering you. Whatever you were in the past, it has no meaning to me. You're my property now, Blood Progenitor, you're the source of my power and a big library of knowledge… Spit it out," said Noah, his menacing presence intimidated the small mind of the Blood Progenitor!

"S-So overwhelming…! I…" muttered the Blood Progenitor, as he sighed, and ended up answering a few questions while being mildly angered.

Noah got to know about Blood Core Cultivation and a few of their techniques, which consisted pretty much in what he was already doing, but a bit better and more refined.

One of such techniques was named 'Blood Core Refinement', where he would use internal energies (such as Mana) to create streams inside of his body, making them be absorbed by the Core and then expelled back to his body, creating a circle of self-nourishment.

Another one which needed fresh blood was named 'Blood Absorption Refinement', where instead of Mana or energies from the Cores, Noah could use the fresh blood of his enemies to do the same process as the previous technique, but this one yielded greater results and even made his blood stronger.

Blood Cultivation was necessary for him as a Vampire, as it was the secret behind unlocking new Skills.

Noah realized that he had been doing it quite roughly every time he drank blood from his enemies, and now he could do this more efficiently.

"Cultivation… An interesting power. I will make sure to use it well, do not worry. Your legacy will keep on going, Blood Progenitor," said Noah with a pleasant smile.

"I will not tell you anymore until you earn my trust a bit more!" roared the Blood Progenitor, he was quite the tsundere.

And because Noah did not want a grumpy old man roaring inside of his head all the time, he nodded, what he learned today was quite enough.

"So you come from a whole other world… the Sun God being sealed, the Moon Goddess becoming charmed by the Blood God, the Vampire Families, the Sun Heralds… So interesting… I wonder if one day we would be able to get there?" laughed Noah.

"…Why would you even want to get there?! You have your own world!" said the Blood Progenitor.

"Well, as the Blood Progenitor descendant, I feel like it is my responsibility to take over that world as well… But for now, let's focus on our own," said Noah.

"I know that your personality fused with mine, but you're way too confident!" said the Blood Progenitor.

"Hmph. Now, I will get some new Skills," said Noah, glancing at the two Ability Cores dropped by Edmond and his girls.

"Edmond's abilities were all about covering himself on rocks and throwing them, would I even be able to employ them correctly? And the other, I don't know which girl this is from, but all of them had useful long-ranged Skills… Well, time to dig in," said Noah, as he absorbed both Cores at the same time.
