The Yandere System in the World of Cultivation

17 Mercenary Number One

Victor did not even ponder over the decision and immediately accepted it, even though he knew that the consequences of his choice might have a negative effect on him, but he was not nervous.

‘As they say, if there’s no pressure, there’s no growth,’ Victor smirked slightly as he approached the first of the men.

‘System, what stages of cultivation are they at?’ – Victor asked the system, trying not to fall into a dangerous situation.

[All three men are in the middle stage of Initial Ascension(1)]

‘So there shouldn’t be any problems, I guess…’ Victor thought, now he was in the late stage while the men were only in the middle stage, which was lucky for Victor, because if they were in the same stage as he was it would not be optimistic at all.

As Victor began to approach the men, who were in the dark alleyway, the crowd watching the girl’s suffering suddenly became animated, expecting something interesting.

“What is he doing?” – A voice came from the crowd.-.

“No matter what, he’s going to die anyway, their boss is in charge of the area.” – Someone answered in the crowd.

“Doesn’t he look familiar to you?” – Someone in the crowd asked.

“It’s him! The young master of the Yang clan, or as they say, the dog of the Mu clan” – A contemptuous voice came from the crowd.

“Hahaha, so that’s the fool!” – Many people laughed.

Hearing these words, Victor tensed up a little, he was not pleased to hear it, of course, who would be pleased to hear them, considering the Japanese protagonists.

‘That damn bastard!’ Victor sighed mentally cursing the past “him” for ruining his reputation by constantly chasing one woman was too funny and amusing.

“How do you want to die?” – Coming close to the man, Victor asked with a broad smile. Throughout his reincarnations he had learned another rule that violence is always the solution, you cannot let go of those who may soon bite you back.

“Ah?”

Everyone seemed dumbfounded by Victor’s words and this applied not only to the men who were Victor’s target but also to the crowd, they were stunned by his arrogant words.

“Seriously these idiots…” Victor laughed to himself, the man hearing his words suddenly froze while his expression grew uglier.

“The first rule is to never let your opponent get close!”

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Several hard blows suddenly interrupted the stunned man, no one could have imagined that Victor would suddenly take the initiative to attack the man first.

Bang!

The man stood for a split second before suddenly collapsing to his knees while his eyes, ears, and mouth bled incessantly. His body had become a kind of vein on which all the vulnerable points had been hit heavily.

The targets Victor hit were fatal for any person, no matter male or female, with a single hit it was possible to turn a healthy person into a cripple.

‘It’s really not a bad technique’ Victor nodded his head approvingly several times.

In one of his unfortunate reincarnations he was very unlucky and for 10 years he was stuck with an assassin for hire nicknamed the “Mad Assassin”. The man was an expert on close combat quarter techniques. Although he did not like watching the assassin train, he still had to and only because of this today was he able to repeat all the techniques that the assassin used.

Victor knew that the technique was really not bad, because he had seen that assassin considered as one of the strongest mercenaries, but trying it today he was surprised because he did not use any weapon or cultivation but only fists, which brought fatal consequences upon his target.

“Xiao Zheng, are you all right?” – After a little shock, one of the men asked, he didn’t expect Victor to act so vilely and attack sneakily when his friend wouldn’t expect it at all.

“Xiao Zheng!” – The other man asked nervously.

But there was no response, Victor’s blows had disastrous consequences, the first blow robbed him of his sight, the second his hearing, the third severed several internal organs and the final fourth blow ruptured his blood vessels, resulting in instant death.

“Don’t shout, he can’t answer you, because he’s dead already!” – Victor said calmly, but from his voice you could not feel any remorse for killing the man in front of them now, it was as if he just took out the garbage.

“Hahaha, you snot-nosed joker!” – One of the men grinned. But in spite of what he said, he could now only doubt his own words, for the man now saw his brother kneeling without a sign of life while his entire face and body were completely drenched in blood.

“Well, look!” – replied Victor.

After these words Victor lightly kicked Xiao Zheng and he crouched on the ground. Before the two men had some doubts about the truthfulness of Victor’s words, but now those doubts completely dissipated, it was clear to everyone that the man was dead and Victor was clearly the one who killed him.

At the same time in the crowd.

For Mu Bing Yun, today was one of the happiest days in a long time. Her ex-fiancé has stopped stalking her and their engagement has been broken off. Even though her mother was against it, she couldn’t help but feel joy in herself.

Walking through the city she suddenly noticed a huge crowd of gawkers watching a show and she was a little curious about what was going on there, so she squeezed into the first rows and noticed a scene that shook her to the core.

Her ex-fiancé killed a man right in front of her, his cold eyes and the words he spoke to men completely threw her off balance.

‘Who is he?’ Mu Bing Yun wondered. She had known Victor for a long time as a spineless, weak and stupid man, but now he was the exact opposite of his usual behavior.

But how could she know what had happened to him, his behavior had changed diametrically and all she could do now was watch the beating.

Victor hadn’t noticed her at all, and even if he had, he wouldn’t have cared, the engagement was annulled, which meant that as of now they were complete strangers to each other.
