"Y-yeye.." Feng Jiu wanted to cry but lack tears.

"Y-yeye... The truth is----"

'Yeye...' Feng Jiu was moved. She cannot believe that her grandfather would not get angry at her, instead, he decided to root for her and accept her decision. She cannot help but be emotional.

'Yeye truly loves me. He's not mad at me even though my decision back then was very stupid. He's not against MinFeng.' "So can Yeye see it??"

Inhaling a large quantity of air, the woman smiled while releasing her breath. She was still young since the last time she was in China. Her parents migrated due to their work, bring her with them. It has been years since she last saw her precious friend.

Thinking about her childhood friend, Xiao Mei immediately dialed her friend's number. She was busy with typing her friend's number while walking towards the exit of the airport. Still waiting for her friend's answer, she was not able to pay attention to her surroundings. She almost fell on the stairs when she felt that someone grabbed her arm and hauled her forward.

She opened her eyes and saw the man looking back at her. He immediately released her hand and walked away as if it was just on impulse when he helped her. She was frozen on her feet, still holding her phone on her ear. She heard someone said to that man, "Mr. Lu, this way. Mr. Wong wanted to meet with you regarding your proposal."

'Mr. Lu? He's called Mr. Lu? Lu Corporation?'

Suddenly, she heard her friend's voice on her phone. Without paying attention to her friend's ramblings, she said, "Ah Jiu... I think I'm in love.." Xiao Mei could feel her heart was beating like a drum..

*Thump thump thump..*

Xiao Mei smiled wickedly while pressing her hand against her chest, saying, "I'll make sure he won't escape from me."

Feng Jiu was currently walking towards her car. After talking with her grandfather, she decided to go back to the company. Still feeling depressed about what happened earlier, Feng Jiu wanted to roll on the floor and cry loudly.

'The shame oh... I almost sold myself out[1]. If I told him about MinFeng, would that be shooting myself on my own foot[2]?!' Feng Jiu still depressed, did not bother to look at the caller's name when her phone rang. She immediately answered it.

"Hello? This is Feng Jiu of Feng International." Her tone was very business-like. Not hearing any response, Feng Jiu's eyebrows wrinkled. She looked at the caller's name and the word 'Little Mei[3] was written on it.

'Little Mei? Xiao Mei? When did she return?' Feng Jiu was shocked. She suddenly thought of her childhood days when she was still the little kid Feng Jiu, not the Witch CEO. She, Xiao Mei and another child were very closed with each other. They acted like true siblings. Even with the love of her Yeye and her parents, she, as a child, still crave for a companion similar to her age. Luckily, she met Xiao Mei and became friends with her. Thinking about her childhood past, Feng Jiu immediately smiled and talked.

"Ah Mei. How are you?? When did you came back? You never even bother to send me a message. Are you staying here for good?----" Feng Jiu went on and on, unable to contain her happiness. When she was still rambling, she heard her friend's voice saying, "Ah Jiu.... I think I'm in love.."

Feng Jiu was choked at her words. 'The naughty little princess is in love?! Heh.. Who's the unlucky bastard?'

"Ah Jiu... I'll hung up. I'll call you later ok? I have to follow him and tie him with our red string of fate[4]."

Feng Jiu just shook her head and drove her car back to the company.

Xiao Mei ran towards the exit, trying to chase the man who made her heart race.

"Stop! Stop! You!!! I said stop!!!" She was frantically shouting with all her might as she chase the man, leaving her baggage alone. The man did not pay attention to her nor even look at her.

She suddenly feels frustrated. "Thief!! Thief!! Give it back!!" Finally, she was able to chase him. She immediately hold his arm while saying, "Give it back! Give it back! How dare you stole it!!"

The man stopped walking and turned his head. He icily stared at the shoulder she was holding and then his eyes move towards her, making her shiver from cold. "Are you talking to me?"

Xiao Mei took a deep breath, mustering all her courage, she nodded. "Yes. I am talking to you! Where is it?? Give it back!!" She started touching the man, patting all of his sides, trying to find something.

The man froze. As if he never expected the shameless act of this woman in front of him. He moved backwards and stiffly said, "What are you doing? Do you want me to sue you for sexual harassment?"

Xiao Mei feigned ignorance. "I'm just trying to get back what you stole from me! How dare you accuse me of malicious deeds?"

"Miss, you must be mistaken."

"No, I'm not! I am 100% sure you're the one who stole it!!"

The man's brows wrinkled. "What did I steal from you?"

Xiao Mei smiled widely and said, "You stole my heart."

The man's eyes stared at Xiao Mei's. Under the man's intense gaze, she blushed. She does not have a very thick skin as she thought.

Aiyaaa.. I really don't know but some says the pace of the story is just too fast, others say that I'm moving slow.

Aiyooo.. My head hurts. Unfortunately, whatever you say guys, I really cannot adjust it. It has been decided from start up to finish. I have to introduce other characters and side stories as well. When I decided to write this one, I already know that I cannot satisfy all your needs.. So just let me kowtow to you and ask forgiveness.

As much as wanted to avoid this one, it will always bound to happen.

This is novel is not the same with any other Chinese novels that almost reached 1000+ chapters. Heck!! I'll die an ugly dead if I try to wrote long stories like that. I dunno if it's short or not but it will only have 50 minimum to 100 maximum chapters.

There's a suggestion that I should just stop posting teaser chapters to avoid repetition of the event.

Well yeah.. I thought so too. So no more teasers!! Hahah.
