The Wife of Hades

Chapter 100 - Mo Han's Anger

When An Luxia finally woke up, it was a little over an hour later, and she found herself on a comfortable bed, her bed.

The first thing she saw after waking up was Mo Han, and she blinked her eyes a few times, still in shock from what happened, "Mo Han. . ."

Mo Han was evidently not in a good mood, as his hair was messed up, eyes were red, and his suit was unorganized. However, upon noticing that she had woken up, he immediately sat down on the bed next to her and looked her up and down, "You're awake! How are you feeling? I'll go call the doctor."

An Luxia immediately stopped him, "It's okay, I am much better now. The gash isn't that deep. I must have been surprised at so much blood, so I passed out. It's not that bad."

As she spoke, she lifted her arm up and turned it around slightly. At once, she regretted her actions. It hurt so bad! Even with the medication, it still burnt with pain when she moved it.

Mo Han looked at her arm, which was wrapped with a large cotton compression wrap, "Who was it?"

An Luxia gulped as her eyes narrowed, "Li Yilan."

She immediately felt as if the temperature in the room dropped by several degrees, and the anger on Mo Han's face was scary even to her.

Although she wasn't showing it as much as Mo Han, she was also furious. How did Li Yilan have the guts to do that?! That was against the law! There was no way she would let her go after this.

It seemed like Mo Han had similar plans. He stood up and called K into the room, and commanded him a simple two-word order, "Find her."

K nodded his head, "Yes sir," and ran out of the room in a very weird manner, almost as if he was hopping around the floor.

An Luxia was slightly confused and she pushed herself up with her uninjured arm to see that the bedroom floor was in a mess! It was almost as if an earthquake had taken place!

A lot of things were thrown onto the ground, and a glass vase had shattered into pieces, but the sharp pieces of small glass were pushed aside to one corner of the room.

"What happened?!" An Luxia asked, her head still feeling light, probably from the loss of blood.

Mo Han licked his lips a little awkwardly before saying softly, "Well. . . I went to go find you since it was getting late and saw you injured. When I came back, well let's just say that I was a little mad."

An Luxia gawked at Mo Han in surprise, "You did this?!"

Mo Han gulped and brushed the topic away, "That isn't important right now, okay? I'll go find someone to clean it up. You lay down properly and rest."

An Luxia pursed her lips out, "It's not that bad, okay? It's just a cut -"

"A cut?! That is not a cut, An Luxia," Mo Han said seriously, the first time in a while he called her by her full name.

An Luxia frowned slightly, noticing that he was mad so she reached over to his hand and swung it left and right, "Don't be mad, okay?"

Mo Han's expression softened slightly, "I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at. . . myself for not being able to protect you well."

An Luxia twisted her nose up in distaste, "Why are you mad at yourself?! It's not your fault, if you were really to be mad at someone, it should be Li Yilan!"

Mo Han nodded, his eyes narrowing into a very scary glare, "I will make her pay."

An Luxia shuddered slightly from his scary expression, but she nodded her head in support of his words. She was not going to let go of her this time either. She had to pay for what she did!

---

An Luxia ended up staying in bed for the next few hours until the doctor came and told Mo Han that it was okay for her to get out of bed. Only then did Mo Han finally let her walk like a normal person.

An Luxia slowly got out of bed, still able to feel the pain coming in shocks up her arm, "I didn't lose a leg or something. Ch!"

Mo Han glared at her and flicked her on the head, causing her to glare back at him. As they walked out of the room to go eat something, An Luxia held onto Mo Han's arm, thinking, "Hanhan, as the King of the Underworld, haven't you seen many injuries before? Maybe even death?"

She clicked her tongue several times, "Imagine the King of the Underworld being scared and panicked for a little gash!"

Mo Han looked at her and rolled his eyes. Of course he has seen many injuries before, big and small, big meaning death. He had also suffered much worse injuries before, but none of that compared to her getting hurt.

If he couldn't even protect his wife, the person he loved most in his life, then how weak and sad would that be?! Of course he was mad.

They entered the dining room, and a maid carried over a large bowl of soup for An Luxia.

Upon seeing the soup, An Luxia's face fell as she looked up at Mo Han, "Mr. Mo, can you use your brain and think about it a little. I'm not sick, okay? Soup! Are you kidding?! My life was on the line and my first meal after surviving an attack is soup?! I was expecting at least a feast!"

Mo Han raised one eyebrow and looked at her, "Eat it."

An Luxia frowned, glaring at Mo Han unhappily, but her stomach could not hide its hunger. She finally lifted her spoon up and started to drink the soup, which also wasn't bad.

Just as she finished up the entire bowl, K walked into the dining room, bowing down in front of Mo Han slightly, "Sir, we have found her parents and brought them here."
