The Urban Dao Child.

Yang Dao and Dao Yin did not know the turmoil they had caused in the hearts of the familiar spirits. They held on to the Void Envoy and isolated his range of impact. The power of devouring was nothing more than an illusion. The puppet in front of them was not the true lord of the void, he had not fulfilled the condition to kill or hurt the dao couple in order to gain more power.

Yang Dao gazed at Dao Yin and said, “Now.”

Dao Yin nodded and she triggered the band around her wrist, the crown of heaven. The bracelet started to shine and expand in size. When the glow radiated from the bracelet was at its peak, the void envoy increased the output of his struggle.

On the other side, Yang Dao was also doing the same. He also willed for the crown of hell on his wrist to expand. The void envoy suddenly calmed down and opened a void portal inside his arms, if they did not let go of the hands, then the two people will perish.

With no other option, Yang Dao and Dao Yin let go of the void entity as the small portals consumed the arms. The puppet closed the portals but the hands below the elbow were missing. Yang Dao said, “By the will of hell, I, the ruler of death, command you to stop.”

When he used the crown of hell, Yang Dao had the power to control death.

Dao Yin smiled and said, “By the will of heavens, I, the master of life, command you to stop.”

She wielded the power of life contained inside the crown of heaven.

These commands were not for the void envoy but the entire world. Except for the Dao Palace, and its residents, everything and everyone had frozen, even time. Yang Dao and Dao Yin spoke in unison, “Last time, we made a mistake, we did not take account of our real strength. This time, we will not repeat it.”

The void envoy replied indifferently, “You may or may not commit a mistake, but you will not be able to stop the void from consuming it all.”

Yang Dao smiled and said, “I would not be that sure.”

Dao Yin said, “I call upon the generals of the four elements, come forth.”

The voice echoed throughout the whole immortal plane. In the Dao Palace, the four people familiars reacted in an instant. the vanished from the balcony and appeared in front of the dao couple.

They were not wearing any robes, but armors. They were called forward as the generals of the four elements, this meant they were going to fight. The dao couple cast a gaze over all of them and said, “Elder, I did not expect you to look so young in the armor.”

Atsuji Kurogame stood wearing black armor, and he looked so young that people might not recognize him at once. Thus, Yang Dao complimented him. The other three chuckled. Yang Dao suddenly put up a game face and said, “Help us, since the Void can absorb the Dao, the Dao can also absorb the dao. However, the void has grown so much that we cannot absorb it on our own.”

Feng Yun wore a vermillion armor and said, “As you command, Master.”

Dao Yin started to absorb the energy radiating from the void envoy. She was not going to spare this guy. Yang Dao had even called in all of the familiars. Yang Dao stood behind Dao Yin and placed a hand on her back. Then he started to channel the void element of nothingness to the four familiars who stood behind him.

The reason Yin stood in the front was the similarity between the laws of devour and the laws of destruction. Dao Yin was the incarnation of destruction and the so-called negative side of the Dao. Yang Dao had mastered the same laws, but he was the heavenly Dao Child his command and control of the negative laws would always be slightly inferior to the negativity.

As the people started to absorb the energy, the four girls stood beside Zen and Athena asked, “Master Zen, why is Dao Yin standing in the front?”

Zen sighed and said, “When the Void is moving forward to destroy everything by consuming it all, it develops a negative attribute, and thus, only master Yin can absorb and channel it to the others. You would like to know why Master Yang Dao is standing between the four familiars, it is because only he has a strong enough positivity to negate the side effects of the Void energy.  The four familiars do not compare to how strong the two masters are, they need to rely on the masters to help them.”

The four girls were shocked, they did not notice that Dao Jiewei, was standing with Zen, holding on to her robes. The little girl was also able to see everything happening in the battle. She said, “Baba once told me, to negate the emptiness one can fill it up with other things, but why is it that he is not doing the same now?”

Everyone was surprised, except Zen. She was the one who had given her the skills to see it all and hear it all. She said while she caressed the head of the child, “A good point Wei, do not worry they will do it soon.”

Dao Yin chuckled and said, “Wei is calling you stupid.”

Yang Dao rebuked, “She did not.”

“At least not directly.”, said Dao Yin.

The young man said, “I will clean you up later. How is this thing?”

He tilted his head to take a look at the void entity trapped in the trap of the two crowns. The two crowns were surrounding the void envoy like a protective circle to keep an animal inside.

He complained in his indifferent voice, “You think you can absorb the void? Very well, let me show you what the void is capable of.”

Yang Dao said, “He is going to open a portal and we will not be able to hit him down at this rate.”

Feng Yun said, “We can if we can isolate his attempt.”

Yang Dao nodded and Atsuji Kurogame said, “I will do it.”

The old man waved his hand and the whole planet was isolated, he said, “Master, he is all yours.”

The isolation stopped the void envoy from opening the portal to death. Yang Dao nodded and said, “Yin, it is about time.”

Dao Yin smiled and said, “Lend us source energy when we ask you to.”

The four people reassured them, and things started to change. Yang Dao and Dao Yin started to channel the source energy of all the elements towards the void envoy. The struggling puppet sensed something and let out a roar.

“How dare you show such impudence to me?”

Yang Dao and Dao Yin did not care and continued channeling their elemental source energy toward the puppet. The void envoy opened a lot of portals around himself to consume the source energy.

Dao Yin smiled and said, “The void is vast and it is endless, however, it is all the one and same.”

Yang Dao started to control the flow of the energy and it was like a needle through the clothes, the energy entered from one portal, and came out from another portal. Yang Dao was using the eyes of the phoenix.

It was an innate skill of the vermillion phoenix. She could see through it all, anywhere, everywhere. Anything and everything. These eyes made her vision omnipotent. Yang Dao used this skill by invoking the spiritual essence of the phoenix inside of him.

The void envoy was shocked, it wailed, and tried to close the portals, however, Dao Yin stopped him, she was using the skill of the black turtle, space command. She stopped the portals from closing.

Yang Dao weaved through the void, decreasing the amount of power the puppet can absorb from the exposure to the void. The energy flow had turned into a stream after all the portals were weaved together, the stream penetrated through the body of the puppet.

Dao Yin used the skill of the white tiger, the claw of death and life. The void envoy tried to move around, but it froze, in the mind of the void envoy, a film was playing, it has put in his mind through the skill of the azure dragon, the loop of justice.

The illusion will be played through the minds of those who had arrived at the door of death.

Zen looked at the scene and said, “Dao leads to everything, and everything leads to Dao.”

The four girls behind her smiled and said, “Everything is a command of Dao, Dao commands everything. Yang begets Yin, Yin begets Yang. They are opposite and opposites are one.”

Athena said, “Master Zen, we can recite the Dao Commands, is it because of…”

Zen nodded, “It is because of the two of them coming together, they cannot allow the world to find it all easily, but this is a chance they gave to you.”
