Chapter 744 Congratulatory Messges

　　When Jia Li and Fu Hua returned to the Fu house, they received a grandeur welcome. YingPei released some fireworks, while FangSu sprayed some flowers on them.

Jia Li was shocked by their flamboyant welcome, and couldn’t help feeling grateful for having them as a part of her life.

It’s not just Jia Li and Fu Hua that were congratulated and given special treatment, their little bun was not left out.

Lanying was in her bedroom playing with her phone when she heard the ruckus and decided to come out to see for herself.

She didn’t understand what was going on, and had to ask a servant who revealed the good news to her, and asked her to join the rest of the family at the dinner table.

”Oh!” That was the only word that escaped from her lips.

She didn’t look angry or happy, her countenance was just neutral. Like it wasn’t any of her business. Still, she went to the dining room to join the rest of the family in the little celebration of the good news.

Grandfather Fu ordered the aged wine he treasured so much which he received from a good friend of his to be opened.

Aged wine was opened, and Champagne was popped, all to celebrate the good news.

Sitting around the table and surrounded by family and good food, was indeed a wonderful feeling.

”I can’t wait to start informing my friends of this good news. They would be filled with jealousy.” Fu Hee said with a big smile.

”You are still waiting? I already called two of my friends.” Fu Lei said happily.

Immediately he heard the news during his wife’s announcement, he didn’t wait to confirm if he heard clearly and quickly made a call to his comrades to break the news to them.

”You are so fast!” Fu Hee chided him.

Grandfather Fu added, “I already called old Huang, they are coming over tomorrow for another little celebration.”

”Wow! So we youngsters are the ones missing out.” YingPei said with a surprised gaze at the old man and his father.

”It will be better to start calling everybody,” FangSu said with a smile.

Since everyone was going around informing their friends, she couldn’t be left behind, but her father ended up bursting her bubbles.

”You can’t do that yet, wait for your brother’s permission. The only people outside our family who knows of this news, will not spread it.” 

In essence, Fu Lei was saying that any news given to the military is confidential, and the Huang family, being Jia Li’s family, would not release that news unless they gave them the sign.

FangSu’s face fell and she turned her gaze back to her food.

Fu Hua who still had a smile on his face said, “For now, Jia Li and I want the news to remain in the family until we make the official announcement ourselves. We already have plans for it.”

Fu Hua was still keen on sticking to their initial plans.

FangSu heard what her brother said and scoffed while glancing in Lanying’s direction. “Brother, are you not scared that someone amongst us will secretly spread this news just like last time?”

Lanying heard that and glanced at FangSu. When their gazes met, she looked away with a calm gaze.

Fu Hua and every other person sitting around the table knew the hidden meaning in her words but didn’t say anything.

”What is there to be afraid of? I never let my enemies off.” Fu Hua said and picked up his cutlery to help Jasmine with her food.

He had wanted to add, ‘Even if they commit suicide, I will still resurrect them and teach them a good lesson.’ But he couldn’t say that as it was not proper, given the happy occasion, and the fact that they were at the dinner table.

Fu Hua was not afraid of anything, so Lanying was definitely out of the question.

He was sure that she wouldn’t dare do anything like that again, so he didn’t even bother to think about it.

FangSu smiled and went back to eating her food. There was a little awkwardness in the air, Fu Juan broke the silence by congratulating Jia Li and Fu Hua on their twins.

Jia Li replied with a smile, while Fu Hua hummed in response.

Although Jia Li did not support all of Fu Juan’s past actions, she didn’t feel that it was her place to keep animosity with her or shun her when she did not do anything to hurt her.

The next person to congratulate them was Fu Chua, followed by the rest of the family. As for Lanying, she did speak up, but not with vigor.

Fu Hua completely ignored her, while Jia Li responded with, ‘thanks’

The next day, the Huang family visited to share the joyous news brought by Jia Li and Fu Hua. Your small ceremony was a little grand, but most importantly, it was lively.

The Huang family used this opportunity to bond with Jia Li and Jasmine again, after giving out the gifts they came with.

Not just the Huang family, but the Fu Family had already prepared gifts for Jia Li and Fu Hua. It was too early to come up with something immediately the previous day, given how the news came to them.

Later in the evening after the Huang family left, the entire Fu family, went about their personal activities.

Jasmine was outside on the lawn playing with Ocean and her pups when she remembered her small house and decided to go over there.

Ocean refused to follow her, and stayed back and watched her, and the pups go away.

FangSu saw this from the window where she was watching and smiled. Then she decided to come downstairs to go find the little girl.

Where Ocean was sitting alone, Lanying who came outside of the house for a walk, saw her and decided to go in her direction.

When Ocean heard the approaching footsteps, and turned and saw Lanying coming over and started barking.

Her sudden actions frightened Lanying, causing her to take a few steps backward.

”What? You have failed to win the hearts of humans, so you go to find a dog now?” FangSu’s voice rang out from behind her, with ridicule in her tone.
