Immediately in the next moment, Augustus remembered something.

"Skylar!"

His daughter, Skylar Cross, fainted due to an acute brain tumor and was lying on the operating table waiting for surgery, but he had failed to call Doctor Zander.

Augustus checked the time. At that moment, it was only ten minutes before the three-hour deadline!

Skylar was in danger!

Augustus hurried out of bed and ran outside.

In his haste, he stumbled and almost fell to the ground.

However, right at that second, something incredible happened.

Augustus, who was about to fall, did an incredible front flip in the air and landed smoothly a few meters away!

Augustus froze in place, not believing what just happened.

Then, the startling information from before surfaced in Augustus's mind again, shocking him.

He thought that everything he saw when he was unconscious was a dream, but now, it was clear that it was real.

It was then that Augustus realized that all his injuries had healed as well!

However, his heart was so full of thoughts about his daughter that he could not think about anything else.

After he ran out of the ward, he headed straight to his daughter's operating room.

Just as he arrived at the door, he saw the attending doctor about to enter.

"Doctor, I'm sorry. I… I wasn't able to invite Doctor Zander…"

The doctor seemed to have expected it. "Well, we'll have to leave it up to fate then."

The doctor sighed helplessly and was just about to enter the operating room when Augustus stopped him.

"Wait, Doctor. Can I see my daughter one more time?"

The doctor could understand where Augustus was coming from, so he nodded, "Alright, but be quick!"

In the vast operating room, his daughter Skylar lay flat on the operating table as if asleep, but Augustus knew very well that there was a malignant tumor in her mind that might take her life at any moment!

Augustus's tears streamed down instantly.

That thought told Augustus that he could heal his daughter's illness!

Thus, he stopped hesitating. He found a box of disposable moxibustion needles in the operating room and pricked them in Skylar's body according to the methods in his mind.

Augustus was able to use a strange method to see that the tumor in Skylar's brain was continuously shrinking and getting smaller under the effect of these needles!

After inserting yet another needle, Skylar instantly spat out a mouthful of black blood.

"What's going on? What are you doing? Oh God, have you gone insane?"

The doctor came in upon hearing the commotion and was shocked by the scene before him.

A few medical staff rushed to pull Augustus away, but the four of them were no match for his strength.

"One last needle!"

Augustus unleashed himself from the crowd and inserted the last needle in Skylar's body.

As the needle penetrated her, Skylar spat out blood again, but this time, the blood was bright red!"

"You're insane! She's your daughter! You'll kill her if you mess around like that!"

The attending doctor went into a rage.

With his medical skills, although the operation was still very risky, at least there was a chance of success. However, Augustus was basically killing her.

The doctor was just about to continue yelling when a young voice was suddenly heard.

"Daddy…"

After thanking the doctor, Augustus carried Skylar and walked out of the operating room.

As he reached the corridor, he saw three figures rushing to him. It was Augustus's mother-in-law Liane Denby, his father-in-law Owen Harrington, and his wife Jeanne Harrington.

"Dad, Mom, Jeanne, you…"

Smack!

Before Augustus could finish, Liane slapped him across the face.

"We spared you from doing anything so you could look after the child, but you couldn't even do that! What's the use of feeding trash like you?"

The scolding attracted the attention of the people in the corridor.. Augustus's face burned with pain.
