Chapter 255 – IM COMING EITHER WAY!

"Can we make a promise today?"

Beth dropped it out all of a sudden and all this while, when

Tin was mute, she opened up her lips for the first time.

"And what that would be?"

"That we will not let our girls go through the same shits we went through!"

Beth said and poked into Tin's evergreen eyes. And waited for Tin to reply…say anything.

"If we let our girls go through it then we will be a joke of a mother!"

"I m scared…"

Beth let out and Tin could understand her in one go. Who was not to become a mother for the first time?

"I m terrified too!"

Tinsley joined in and both looked into the eyes of each other, afraid, clueless as they both headed towards this unknown journey of motherhood together.

"What do you mean??"

"They are having their first child in a month…in a MONTH!!! And you decided to keep that away from me…??? Why???"

Thea yelled and it was a huge blow to Valeria. She was so much shocked that she had forgotten to breathe until she heard that the child was due in a month…

"I had thought….fuck!!! It does not even matter now anymore…does it??"

Thea mockingly asked and sat down on the nearby sofa, defeated. For the first time, she felt like she was not going to get that one thing…one man she ever liked so much when all her life, she was used to getting what she ever wanted.

"I did not…I had no idea until now…that my nephew had impregnated that woman again…"

Valeria let out, cluelessly. When she had thought that this chapter was over for good only to find that it only gotten more deeper.

"Do you need me to come there and help you??"

Drake implored and came out of the kitchen, ready to carry the woman if needed.

"No…no! I m fine!!"

And then the water poured out of her from nowhere, shocking both of them in one go.

"You seem not fine!"

Drake concluded and ran up to her, seeing the wetness, it was confirmed that the baby was coming today…almost right at that moment.

He immediately picked Beth up in his arms as if she weighed nothing and took her out to the car. He made her sit in very comfortably and then ran inside to get the pre-ready baby bag.

"What is happening??"

Jessica popped out and questioned Drake when she heard minute screams of pain from Beth.

The old woman was just on her way to deliver breakfast pudding but then saw him carrying Beth out and putting her inside the car.

"The baby is coming!"

It was all that Drake had said before disappearing inside the house. Jessica followed behind, not before peeking inside the car and saw Beth mewling in pain.

"How do you know that? She is not due until next week!"

Jessica implored and it was at that very moment, Tin came out to the living room, a little clueless as to why Drake was roaming around the house like a mad on fire.

"Her water broke!!"

He replied and grabbed the bag. It was labelled as Bethany for two such bags were already prepared beforehand.

And it took just that for both the women to freak out. Tinsley ran outside and so did Jessica, following behind Drake.

Tinsley tried to get in but Drake stopped her. He could not keep check up on two women when one was going into labour.

"Ma'am, please, you stay with Jessica. I will take Miss Gomez and will take care of everything else."

He requested, hoping for her to understand. Tinsley shook her head and looked over at Beth, whose eyes were trained on hers too.

"I m not going to leave her alone!"

She said and Drake did not know how else to make the damn woman understand.

He could not understand how was she was going to take care of Beth when she was very pregnant herself.

"Your condition is not very fruitful for such things, ma'am please try to understand!"

Drake pressed, and Tin still shook her head in negative. He turned upon Jessica for help there.

"Jessica…"

He signalled the old woman and all the time being wasted on this was making Beth lose patience, she just wanted to push the baby out of her aching body.

"He is right, my dear…you will be no help there. Your condition is very ripe just like hers…"

Jessica let out, holding onto Tinsley's hand and it was in the last moment, Beth decided to speak up.

"Pray for my baby girl!"

"What do you mean? I m coming with you!!"

Tin stressed, coming closer and holding Beth's hand. Jessica did not know how to break them apart and Drake was almost considering of taking them both but as always, Beth came as his saviour.

"You will not! Drake drive, please!"

Beth said and she let go of Tin's hand. Drake came forward and closed the car door. He walked around and got inside the driver's seat.

"I will keep you guys updated. Do not worry!"

Drake assured them both before starting the engine and driving away. Tinsley stood ideal along with Jessica, watching the Audi drive away before it disappeared from their sight.

"Drive faster, please…I feel my body is going to be torn apart in two halves!!"

Beth yelled out, trying to stick by the cramps that constantly kept hitting her womb repeatedly. Drake prayed for a miracle that traffic was clear.

But on the main road, the traffic was yellow. He cursed out, punching against the steering wheel. His eyes looked at the rearview mirror to check up on her.

"Hold onto your strength, Miss Gomez!"

He said, almost scared by the woman's red and sweaty face. She was gritting her teeth, biting on her lips, not wanting to scream bloody murder.

"Do not give me advice!!"

She let out furiously, frustrated. Her emotions, the pain, the ache, everything was all over her body and mind. And here a man, who had never in his life bore a child was giving her advice!…

"As you say, Miss Gomez!"

He replied curtly, totally getting that the woman was in too much pain. He did not seek the moment right for further conversation. And right at that moment, the traffic went green. He thanked the Almighty.

"For the nth time, I m BETHANY!!"

She screamed her name out. Why could he just not address her like that?

Meanwhile, in the middle of the investor meeting, Kian's phone rang and his eyes were quick to check who it was from.

These days, he had been keeping his phone close for he needed to be ready whenever that call would be made of his wife going into labour.

Two people were calling her. One was from his aunt, Valeria, whom he had not contacted for two months straight by then and he could only wonder why all of a sudden, she was calling him?

She might have come to know that he had found Tinsley? And it was about time, she would come to know either way.

Another was from the woman, who had not bothered calling him once ever since their separation…his wife.

His heart already started beating on seeing her name on the screen. He did not think twice before picking his wife over his aunt.

"Kian…attention here!"

Thea tried to bring his eyes from staring at his phone screen up to the presentation. He excused himself right away, adjourning the meeting.

"I have to go. It's from Tinsley…my pregnant wife!"

He declared the last part, informing the delegates and before they could say anything, he was out.

Thea, remained seated there, listening to the gossips of the officials about how much he cared for his wife that one call was enough for him to sum up his million-dollar contract meeting.

"Hey…Just breathe ok!! I will be there in exact about an hour from now!"

He said, right away after answering the call. He knew that sometimes babies appeared beforehand their time off due.

Tinsley was taken aback by his speech of asking her to breathe as if she did not know how to. He seemed like he was on a run.

"Carlos inform Johnathan to ready my jet, we will fly to San Francisco in an hour!"

She heard him ordering his driver in the background. He was not giving her any damn second to speak up.

"Why are you flying to here?"

It was the first thing that she asked him. Kian sat inside his Mercedes as Carlos got ready to drive him to the private airport.

"Don't you want me by your side when you deliver our child?"

Kian implored. He did not know why would she ask him such a silly question. He knew that she was angry and was going to act like a brat again.

"You know what, I m coming either way…you want me or not! I m coming for my daughter!"
