All Novel Full Chapter 2 - 2 Phone Call.
Two months later.
Ming city, one of the top tier cities of the nation.
Inside a luxurious VIP hospital room.
A girl was sleeping soundlessly in her bed. The warm sunshine came through the windows of the room and fell on her petite body. She was like a cold beauty who was in eternal sleep. Her pale skin brought her elegance to another level.
Due to laying down on the bed for two months, she had turned thin but her beauty didn't decrease even the slightest. If someone didn't notice her slight movement on her chest area they would think she wasn't alive. However, now, she was having a bad dream.
Beep Beep...
There were all kinds of high tech medical equipment attached to her body. These showed her body data and if her condition became worse for a second, it would immediately start to give loud sounds. There was tight security outside her room. Four people were stationed to protect her.
Luo Lixi was having an ugly nightmare. There was a slight frown between her eyebrows. She wanted to open her eyes but her eyelids felt so heavy that she couldn't move them. She wanted to wake up and end this bad dream but couldn't. Her willpower wasn't enough for her to wake up from it. A lonely teardrop rolled down by her right eye but nobody noticed it.
At this moment, a middle-aged nurse came to change her I.V. drip. She merely gave a glance towards the comatose patient.
For the past two months, she had been taking care of this girl.
'What a pity! Such a beautiful young girl has to lie down on the bed all the time.' She thought while her mind felt remorse.
Luo Lixi had been trying her all to move her body and her blood pressure was increasing minute by minute but the nurse didn't notice it. In the end, she succeeded in moving her fingers slightly. The sensors on them immediately reacted to it and started to give sounds.
The nurse was slightly surprised by hearing the sounds. She turned towards Luo Lixi and waited to catch any movements eagerly. 'The patient is gaining consciousness!' she thought excitedly.
"Hey! Are you awake? Can you hear me?"
she asked her softly but there was no reply. She immediately went to bring a doctor.
After some moments, two doctors came followed by three nurses including her. They started checking her body state and her data on the machines.
"Well, she indeed woke up for a moment but became exhausted due to the lack of stamina. There is nothing to worry about, her condition is improving slightly every day. I guess she'll wake up within two days or so. Inform her guardians." said one of them.
"Okay." The nurse went to inform her family members. But she found only a phone number on the patient's form. The name section was blank. There were only the phone number and the VIP room's number on it.
She thought it was quite abnormal but didn't think about it any longer and dialled it on the hospital telephone. After some ringing, someone picked it up.

"Hello"
"Hello, I'm calling from 'Ailin Hospital'. There is a coma patient admitted to our hospital and your number is on her form. May I know if you're her guardian?"
"Yes, you can say that." answered the lady politely.
"She has gained consciousness early but went to sleep due to her weak state. The doctor has said she'll wake up within two days. I wanted to inform you that" said the nurse.
There was happiness in her tone. Well, the doctor guessed the time but the nurse said as if it was guaranteed that Luo Lixi would wake up within two days.
Honestly, when the nurse was taking care of her, she felt very sad for the girl. There were some cut marks on Luo Lixi's body which gave her grief too. But now she was very glad that at least she had shown a sign of waking up.
"Can you come to the hospital?" The nurse asked her.
"Okay, when I can make time, I will. Thanks." answered the lady casually. There were no emotions in her voice. Afterwards, she disconnected the line.
"..."
The nurse wanted to say more but the line was disconnected. Well, she had informed them and her task was complete. Afterwards, she went to do her work.
On the other hand, the lady looked down on her phone for some time. There was no emotion on her face. It was hard to guess what she was thinking.
She put down her phone aside and started to sort out some paper on her desk. At that moment, an office worker came to her.
"Miss Yanli, here is your coffee." said the person while smiling and handed her a cup of black aromatic coffee.
She raised her head and thanked him. After taking a sip, she put that aside and submerged herself in her work.

At 11:30 am.
At the Sheng Industry and Corporation's main office building.
In a large spacious room, a meeting had been ongoing for almost two hours.
Everyone was heatedly discussing their upcoming multi-billion project. They were giving various proposals but those weren't satisfactory. A man was trying to explain something on the board but nobody gave him a damn chance.
The atmosphere was very tense and they were wiping their sweats from their heads vigorously. They were under heavy pressure for this project. If anything went wrong, nobody could bear the consequences of failure.
The person sitting on the main seat put on a professional yet nonchalant expression on his face. He was looking through the proposals in front of him but there wasn't a single proposal that could catch his eye. He signalled the man at the board to return to his seat. He began to explain some errors in the proposals to them in a cold tone.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. The CEO raised his hand and signalled everyone to stop. The room became quiet immediately.
"Come in." he said. His voice sounded very authoritative. He didn't like to be interrupted when he was in a serious discussion. He was displeased but calm on the outside.
An elegant lady stepped into the room. In her high heels, she click-clacked her way towards the CEO. She looked very professional in her business suit as she was spreading charm throughout her every movement.
Everyone in the room adjusted their sitting position and looked gentleman as if the earlier atmosphere was nothing but a mere illusion.
