Spirit Soul

Chapter 247 Drastic Improvements

There were many things Kyle had to pay attention to.

He wanted to learn how to forge properly, but the longer he thought about it, the least important it was for his next few short-term goals.

Nevertheless, Kyle was not only focused on his short-term goals but also focusing on the future far ahead.

With that in mind, he was focused on each course he attended.

The Intermediate Elemental control course was not all that difficult after a month, but the same couldn’t be said about the Advanced Elemental control course.

It was truly difficult, and Kyle learned a lot.

This did not only include a higher proficiency with the wind affinity, but his understanding of other affinities increased as well.

Others might not think that this was necessary. However, Kyle was of a different opinion because it was certainly important to know more about the structure of the elements.

In his opinion as long as one knew about all kinds of elements, it would be quite easy to counter them as well.

By learning enough about every single element, Kyle gained information about how to evade and block off specific types of attacks.

This was something Kyle focused on with and even without the use of his own wind affinity.

There were quite a few ways to make use of the detailed pieces of information that he received.

Other than the Elemental control courses, Kyle truly liked the Advanced Combat training.

It was quite helpful and helped him to fix the flaws he had while fighting.

The instructor was very helpful and didn’t discriminate against Kyle for being an Aldra-lookalike.

In fact, because the Combat Instructor seemed to be so nice to everyone, more royals from other races joined the Advanced Combat training as well.

Through this, Kyle sparred with many different people, which allowed him to gain vast experience.

This was what fighting against Cultivators with different combat styles, affinities, and unique traits brought forth.

Kyle liked fighting a wide variety of different Cultivators and races. It was quite enjoyable.

That was also why the Advanced Combat training was what he looked forward to a lot. Meanwhile, the Survival course was the exact opposite because his lovely instructor was simply but, a discriminating piece of trash.

But Kyle still overcame it because his mind was mostly occupied by the blacksmith courses that followed suit.

Even the theory courses, that were not actually about the theory of forging, were interesting.

Thus, even if it was not helpful for his short-term goals, Kyle was pretty sure that he worked in the most efficient way by forging nearly three days a week!

Forging allowed him to calm down a lot, and the experience he gained was something he was certain to need for the future.

With that in mind, three months had passed in the blink of an eye.

Kyle didn’t even notice how fast time flew by, and he only recalled the dozens of hunting trips he made with Beatrice.

They were truly relaxing even though their lives had been on the line many times.

During every single trip, they nearly died quite often…too often in Kyle’s opinion.

However, the final result of their hunts was exceptional because they hunted more than 50 Krysal stage beasts in three days, followed by thousands of Late and Peak rank Vitae stage beasts.

This provided more than enough soul energy for Kyle to focus on nurturing Arashi, and Selene.

The Sacarda seed she had created had already blossomed, which meant that Selene had reached the peak of the Vitae stage by now.

Kyle’s nourishment had worked wonders to her cultivation veins. It allowed her to make use of the vast amount of resources she possessed which made it possible for her to reach the peak of the Vitae stage in no time.

What Kyle figured out only now was the fact that his nourishment of her cultivation veins had an advantageous side effect.

Every single time he nourished the cultivation veins of Selene, her cultivation speed was further boosted for a short period of time.

Thus, it was almost as if she received twice the effect of the nourishment for the same amount of energy used by Kyle.

Because of that, he tested out nurturing Yasmine and Beatrice’s cultivation veins as well.

He only used a tiny bit of energy to test it out and noticed that they received a slight enhancement in their cultivation speed as well

This was great, which was why he choose to help them out as well.

Owing to his support, they were able to advance to the Peak of the Vitae stage as well.

And they didn’t even use much of their resources.

Only when it came to breaking to the Krysal stage did they start using their cultivation resources.

This was quite logical because a breakthrough to the next stage was always more arduous and difficult than the cultivation in the same stage.

One had to break down a huge wall in order to advance. As such, using resources to artificially increase the might one could use to break down the said wall, was the best one could do.

With that in mind, both Beatrice and Yasmine entered the Krysal stage without much of an issue.

The advancement to the Krysal stage simply indicated that one had altered the Sacarda flower in the way that allowed it to create Soul crystals.

A total of nine Soul crystals would have to be created by the Sacarda flower before one could advance further, reaching the Acerta stage

Kyle was the most astonished about Beatrice’s rapid advancement in her cultivation.

After all, she had been around his cultivation base. This either meant that she used more of her time to cultivate, or that he cultivation talent was still higher than his.

In the end, the latter was obviously the most important. But that was quite obvious and not something Kyle ever doubted.

However, the former was also not entirely unimportant.

But even then, his own cultivation improved quite fast because Arashi finished his second mutation, increasing the Spirit Soul’s traits by a large margin.

At the same time, Arashi’s limiters were moved upward even further, which gave Kyle the opportunity to keep improving the energy absorption and conversion paths.

Through this, both he and Arashi were able to reach the Late Vitae stage, in no time!

And that despite his overly busy schedule. Kyle wanted to enter the Krysal stage by now, but at the end of the day, this was just something he told himself to stay motivated, to have a goal in mind.

His current strength was already higher than an ordinary Krysal stage being at the Initial rank, after all.

Soul force was simply too powerful to cultivate, which allowed Kyle to be stronger than one might actually believe.

Through this, his hunts in the last few weeks became much easier as both he and Arashi were able to hunt Krysal stage beings all by themselves.

Meanwhile, Beatrice was able to do the same as well.

Her blood armor, or to be precise the blood gauntlets were something Beatrice could control pretty well by now.

However, there were still too many things she had yet to figure out about her new ability.

Beatrice didn’t understand it well yet, and she was forced to test out quite a few things in order to gain some understanding.

But exactly the same could be said about Yasmine and Selene.

Yasmine was trying to figure out more about her Phoenix bloodline. The tiny fraction of her bloodline that awoke was something she had yet to figure out.

On the other hand, Selene was trying to use her darkness affinity as well as Beatrice and Yasmine controlled their affinity.

Yasmine was a Phoenix halfling, which made it quite easy for her to use her phoenix flame.

Beatrice belonged to an old race. Nobody knew which one yet, but her talent for the control of her Blood affinity was something that originated from the talent she was born with, and the fact that she was able to increase her proficiency with it for 50,000 years.

The fact that even Beatrice was learning something new after being alive for 50,000 years was not something Selene seemed to notice.

Instead, she stressed herself way too much to improve her control with her darkness affinity.

This helped her to break through her boundaries, but it exhausted her mentally much more than anything.

But Kyle could understand her somewhat. Since Arashi mutated, his wind affinity became much stronger.

Being one entity, Kyle’s wind affinity became much more powerful as well.

It allowed him to do so much more, with far more force than before.

However, even then, Arashi’s second mutation didn’t change much about the little Spirit Soul’s appearance…or so did it seem!

There was only one particular thing that changed in his Spirit Soul’s appearance.

And this change was quite a shocker!
