Spirit Soul

Chapter 246 Distribution Of Time

Continuing to hunt inside the forest for three more days, Kyle was quite exhausted.

Arashi’s mutation had yet to be completed and Kyle had to find thousands of beasts all by himself.

He already knew that there were quite a lot of Vitae stage beasts that had a huge population, but the actual numbers exceeded his expectation by a lot.

It was quite spectacular to fight specific types of beasts like a pack of 300 Thunder wolves. They were beasts at the Late Vitae stage, which was quite interesting for him to deal with.

This was quite dangerous from his point of view, but by using the devouring tree seedling’s spores to his advantage, Kyle was able to avoid the dangers pretty well.

To use the spores, it was necessary to nurture the devouring tree seedling.

However, that was fine because it didn’t require much energy to nurture the seedling to get enough spores to precisely target the thunder wolves.

Taking things easier than before, Kyle didn’t focus on fighting honorable. He wanted to survive, that was it!

Efficiency was far more important to him than honor, which was the reason for Kyle to use the devouring tree seedling’s spores even though it required some nourishment to be fully utilized.

With that in mind, the third day of hunting passed after Kyle killed almost 10,000 beasts.

This number was ridiculous, and it would get even more ridiculous the moment he was to sell all their corpses to the beast merchants, who were in a dire need of beast meat.

Kyle was able to provide them with everything they needed, and even more as he sold honeycombs and other things he found in the forest during the last three days.

In return, Kyle received loads of cultivation resources, which he could use if he required them.

However, Arashi could absorb all cultivation energies from his surrounding, and there was a lot to absorb from his surrounding.

The capital was the place with the densest stream of cultivation energies in the entire Lahin Kingdom.

And comparing the Sadorla forest with the Lahin kingdom, even the kingdom’s outskirts were richer in the three major cultivation energies than the Sadorla forest’s center.

Understanding this, Kyle collected the cultivation resources as a means of wealth and used them once he required them.

It wouldn’t take long for Arashi to finish his mutation which meant that every single of his Spirit Soul’s traits were to be enhanced severely.

Once this happens, the energy absorption and conversion rate would skyrocket, which was something Kyle had already initiated with the use of his Nurture ability.

He was quite excited to see Arashi’s new form, but he also knew that it would take some time before his little companion would finish the mutation.

When Kyle returned to the Glory Knight Academy, he made a stop by the girl’s dorm.

Without hesitation he entered it, just to pass by several female Lohars.

They threw weird glances at him, but Kyle ignored everything as he appeared in front of the room of the three women that awaited him already.

‘Follow current novels on n0vel next.com.’,

Selene, Beatrice, and Yasmine knew that he would come back today, which was why they freed their schedule for the afternoon.

All of them were together right now, and they opened the door for him the moment he knocked on it.

Seeing Kyle’s dirty appearance, they smiled drily, just to let him in, nonetheless.

They could clean afterward, which was no problem.

However, instead of allowing him to sit anywhere, they provided him with utensils to wash up, and to change his outer clothes, at the very least.

It looked like they had prepared everything, which Kyle accepted willingly before he began to wash up.

In the meantime, he began to explain what he did in the last three days and that Arashi was undergoing his mutation.

The three women listened carefully, only for Yasmine to throw in.

“If forgot if you know about it already, but the secretary of the Glory Knight academy’s principal came to us to tell you that you will be allowed to enter the Ancestor’s treasury without doing the exams.”

Yasmine kept looking at Kyle, but he didn’t even halt in his tracks after hearing the intel.

Thus, she scratched the back of her head, wondering if he already knew it…and if she might have known about this already.

However, instead of making this a topic of their conversation, Yasmine continued to speak with the others,

“That means only Selene and I have to pass all tests, while the dimension’s restriction will restrict Beatrice because she is too old.”

‘New novel chapters are published on NovelB-in.cOM’,

Yasmine’s gaze averted to Beatrice, whom she smiled apologetically.

Beatrice was quite frustrated about the Ancestor treasury’s restrictions that demanded everyone to be below the Acerta stage and below 100 years old.

This clearly showed that the treasury was made for young existences, whose potential had yet to be fully unleashed.

But even if that was the case, Beatrice couldn’t help but feel that it was unfair.

Her cultivation base had been taken away from her when the Undead heart was destroyed.

As such, it should only be fair for her to be considered a young Cultivator.

At least that was what Beatrice told herself, even if she knew better.

Selene just nodded her head when Yasmine finished what she said, without actually adding something.

Meanwhile, Kyle finished washing up, and changing his upper clothes.

He did not really care if anyone would see him but he didn’t want to bother the girls by standing naked in front of them.

Though he was only wearing boxer shorts for a short moment, which allowed the three women to eye his jacked physique in its entirety.

They liked what they saw but shook their head a moment later, before looking at each other.

Smiling in embarrassment, they averted their attention to something else in the room, just for Kyle to have finished changing into a new set of clothes.

“That feels much better.”  He simply said before adding,

“So what is the plan the three of you have in mind? It is already obvious what I do, but I guess it would be a waste of time for Yasmine and Selene to come with me and hunt.

After all, preparing for the exams to get permission to enter the Ancestor’s treasury is the most important!”

Taking a look at Beatrice, he thought about it for some time before saying.

“Should we go out to hunt a few days in the weeks until the Ancestor’s treasury opens? I think it will take three months, so if he hunts large groups of Peak Vitae stage beasts and lone Krysal stage beasts, It should be possible to nurture Arashi to a new peak!”

It was not necessary for Kyle to waste Yasmine and Selene’s precious time right now.

He was pretty sure that he required their help inside the Ancestor’s treasury.

‘Visit NOVE L BiN. for a better_user experience’,

Thus, they should focus on their own strength, and not help him to hunt numerous beasts in the capital’s surroundings.

Beatrice was more than enough help! Kyle was pretty sure that they would be able to get their hands on many Soul energy-rich opponents!

Just the thought of it was enough for him to smile, only for Yasmine and Selene to frown deeply.

They wanted to follow Kyle in the Ancestor’s treasury. Thus, it was only obvious for them to focus on becoming stronger and meet the other requirements to pass all the necessary exams.

However, the fact that Kyle simply said that he would go out with Beatrice, for three days a week…EACH week until the Ancestor’s treasury opened bothered them a lot.

It was near impossible for them to hide their facial expressions, while the same was the case with Beatrice.

Her bad mood dispersed and she didn’t even feel bad about not being able to enter the Ancestor’s treasury anymore.

After all, she had time with Kyle alone for the next three months, while Yasmine and Selene would have to share Kyle’s attention inside the Ancestor’s treasury.

And within the treasury, it was unlikely for Kyle to have time to waste.

Rather, he would give his best to procure as many treasures as possible as long as they had some use for him.

This also meant that Kyle would focus on being perfectly prepared, which was why he would spend the next three months working relentlessly.

In the end, nobody was able to complain in any way because each of them would get their very own time with Kyle.

It was just differently distributed, and in some way weirdly constructed.

But Kyle didn’t even notice what the women thought because his mind was somewhere different.

He…was fully focused on reaching the Krysal stage…in three months!
