Sovereign of the Firmaments

Chapter 42 - Opening Of The Dungeon

A few kilometers away from Silverstone town, there was a small cave and in front of it, there were so many people.

The small cave in front of them was none other than a dungeon that was owned by the mages guild.

Right now, almost everyone from the Silverstone town and other nearby towns had appeared except for the guild leader of the Mages guild, Elliott.

'Why is it taking so long to come here?'

'Isn't he supposed to open the dungeon already?'

People that don't belong to any guild could only curse the Mages guild under their breath.

"These days, the mages guild are thinking they are above everyone. Looks like it is time to put more restrictions for the mages guild when they come to my alchemy."

"I will do the same when they request for any assassinations from my guild."

However, the powerful guilds directly spoke out in order for the members of the mages guild to hear.

Even Lucas and Bernard were among the crowd as he looked at young men who were going to participate.

Since there were many new families in Silverstone town along with families from the other towns along with the drifting knights and mages, Lucas was just another young master in the eyes of the powerful families.

"I think I am right on time."

Soon, Elliott's words could be heard from above and everyone looked into the sky.

"What? He is flying?"

"Has he already become a Heavenly mage?"

Everyone saw Elliott flying in the sky without using any flying artifacts, making most of them surprised because, in this world, only Heavenly mage or Heavenly knights could fly without the support of any artifact.

However, now, they see Elliott flying in the sky. So, they guessed regarding his rank being a Heavenly mage.

"He is just a tier 1 General mage."

The alchemy guild's leader scoffed at everyone who was thinking that Elliott was a Heavenly mage.

"That's right! He is just using an advanced spell to fly using his magic power."

The weapons pavilion head Finn didn't get along with the alchemy guild; however, he backed his words now.

'Oh. So, that's how it is.'

'If he really was a heavenly mage, he would have been in the royal city or promoted to the other firmament's mages guild.'

'That's what I am trying to say to you from the start but no one believed me.'

'What the hell? When were you trying to say that?'

.

.

.

As usual, there were no locks to the mouths of the onlookers as they whisper for every single thing.

"Everyone, move aside and give way to the guild leader."

Felix, Elliott's son and the vice guild leader of the mages guild tried to clear a way for his father.

Once the way was cleared, Elliott slowly walked towards the small cave and took out a small mirror and a small bottle with red liquid in it.

'Drop'

He poured all the liquid into the small mirror which was mysteriously absorbed by the small mirror.

"Open"

Elliott chanted something before shouting a single word.

'Rumble'

'Swoosh'

The small cave shook a little before a portal opened in small cave.

"Everyone, the portal will be closed after one day and as long as you are alive by the time the portal closes, you will be teleported out of the dungeon. So, you don't have to waste time in finding the portal."

"If you die in the dungeon, you will die."

"Not only are there many dangers in the dungeons but the danger of the dungeon will be entering into the dungeon with you and your fellow participants."

"Because no one can see what's happening inside the dungeons from the outside, the usual death rate is very high."

"So, if you still want to enter the dungeon. Go on and I hope you can be successful in gaining some good things."

As soon as the portal of the dungeon opened, Elliott spoke so many lines to all the participants making everyone listen to him attentively.

After finishing his words, Elliott didn't bother to stay there anymore and left that place.

As for the dungeon, it would only allow the youngster below lesser knight or lesser mage ranks and below 20 years of age.

The more youngsters entered the dungeon, the better it was for him.

Also, there was no way anyone could see what's happening inside the dungeon

So, he decided to come back after one day when the dungeons send the living participants out.

"Everyone, let's go."

"Try to find each other before searching for the treasures and spells."

"Nephew, be careful inside."

"You have to protect your young master at any cost. If something happens to him, I will kill you and your families. Do you understand?"

"Get that Advanced spell at any cost."

Soon, everyone gave their suggestions to their youngsters.

'Just find each other and wait for others to collect some treasures, then start our bulk order.'

However, the assassin guild's leader looked at the 10 masked youngmen and ordered them.

'Yes, leader.'

All 10 of them nodded their heads.

'Do you remember the plans and training you have been doing for the last couple of days? Just remember them. The entire assassin guild trained you for today. There are a total of 100 targets...no 101 targets including Lucas Hellmore. As long as you finish this deal, I will make you all Gold-ranked assassins.'

Ghost snake promised the 10 young men that he would do so and so for them as long as they finished their tasks.

'Master, so, you lied to us?'

'That's right! The bulk order is only for these 10 young men?'

Killblade and Killslash were dissatisfied when they heard Ghost snake's low voice and asked him in the same low voice.

They were excited for the bulk order for the last few days and without knowing that, they trained these 10 young men. So, of course, they were dissatisfied.

"Don't worry. You have another mission in two days."

How could Ghost snake not know how to cool his two servants? So, he said something in their ears making their eyes lit up.

"You have to do well and become the gold-ranked assassins."

Once they heard Ghost snake's words, they didn't show any dissatisfaction on their faces and even encouraged the youngsters.

'You remembered everyone's face and information, right?'

Soon, Ghost snake asked the youngsters who nodded their heads before entering the dungeon.

"Old man, go back and protect Evan. I will be going now."

On the other side, Lucas said goodbye to Bernard and entered the dungeon with the rest of the participants.

"Grandpa Bernard?"

Just as Lucas left, the old man heard a familiar voice and turned back to see a beautiful girl in blue-gown with a small white tiger in her hands.
