Rewind System: Vampire Harem In The Apocalypse

After smearing her blood across the Transportation Gate, Sangrea activated it and crossed through it with Xavier’s mother and sister. Although she did not want to, she trusted his abilities.

“Come.” Said Xavier as he took up an amateur sword stance.

Xavier spread his legs as he crouched, his body slightly tilted towards the Vampires before him and his swords pointed at them, taking a deep breath.

[Spin.]

[Spin.]

When he pressed the spin button, the two dark flaming wheels beside him began to spin, and at the same time the two infuriated vampires vanished from his sight.

*Swoosh!*

Arnold appeared before Xavier’s very eyes with a sword swing heading straight for his head. The Vampire Lord appeared behind him with another swing that moved even faster towards his waist.

Xavier, whose speed was vastly inferior, had no way to avoid it, much less parry both of them at the same time with his lack of technique.

However, despite that, he still smiled.

*Fwoosh!*

In the next second, Xavier’s figure vanished, forcing Arnold and the Vampire Lord to slash through the empty air.

‘What..?! He’s gone!?’ Arnold thought in astonishment.

While ducking to his left, the Vampire Lord swung his head backwards, barely avoiding Xavier’s swing diagonal from behind.

*Slash!*

While the Vampire Lord avoided the swing, Arnold, who was in front of him and had not seen it coming, had part of his leg severed as Xavier carried the swing over to him.

‘Wha-‘

*BAM!*

Xavier was struck from the left by a punch to the arm as the Vampire Lord countered with a fist.

As Xavier went sliding down the hall with his arms raised, The Vampire Lord said, “Not bad”.

At the very last second, he raised his guard and blocked the punch.

‘What the hell just happened!?’ Asked Arnold as he looked at his detached leg.

‘His movements… What the hell is going on!?’

Xavier took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. Xavier began sprinting at them with all his strength as Arnold attempted to reattach his leg.

“Watch out for his movements!”

[Gravity ma-]

*SLASH!*

As Xavier disappeared from their view, the Vampire Lord’s eyes widened in surprise.

In that moment, his left arm, which he had been getting ready to use to slow [Gravity Manipulation] Xavier’s movement, was suddenly sliced off by Xavier as a swing crashed past him from behind.

‘!?!’

With the surge of pain flowing through his body and his blood gushing out, the Vampire Lord quickly turned around to find Xavier’s feet slamming into Arnold’s face.

*WHOOSH!*

Arnold slide down the hall, leaving his leg behind, as the Vampire Lord swung his sword vertically downwards at Xavier.

*CLANG!*

Xavier crossed both swords in mid-air, allowing him to easily block the powerful swing of the Vampire Lord.

[Gravity Manipulation: Gravitation Edge.]

*CRASH!*

Upon parrying, the figure of Xavier plunged to the ground, cracking the concrete as he coughed up blood and saliva.

In a fraction of a second, the Vampire Lord thrust his sword at Xavier to pin him to the ground.

*Pierce!*

The Vampire Lord’s heart sank however, as his figure had vanished, resulting in him having penetrated nothing but the concrete floor.

*SLASH!*

Vampire Lord’s eyes widen however, as his very arm, which he had used to thrust down the sword, was slashed cleanly off by a sword swing that came out of the air right before him.

As he glanced up, he saw Xavier’s figure spinning in mid-air with another horizontal swing heading right for his neck.

[Gravity Manipulation: Gravitation Burst!]

Suddenly, Xavier was hit by an invisible force bursting at him, sending him careening through the air.

While watching Xavier’s figure slam and crash into the palace wall, the Vampire Lord let out heavy pants as blood poured from both of his severed arms. So that Xavier wouldn’t be able to move, he continued to apply Gravity to the wall.

His swords were also scattered as he had accidentaly loosened his grip on them, making him much less of a threat.

“Get up and go kill him!” Shouted the Vampire Lord at Arnold as he quickly tried positioning his body to reattach both arms.

The instant he bent down to do so however-

Again, Xavier’s figure appeared in mid-air before him in the exact position he was before being blasted away. This time two diagonal swings simultaneously heading down at him forming an “X” cross.

The Vampire Lord couldn’t believe his eyes, just an instant ago, Xavier was pinned against the wall by gravity, yet now he was right Infront of him.

‘How is this possib-‘

*SLASH!*

The Vampire Lord’s head was sliced cleanly into four pieces before his body fell and dropped onto the floor.

[You killed a Low-ranking Vampire Lord!]

Xavier dropped onto the ground, onto the ground, before almost slipping and falling on the Vampire Lord’s pool of blood.

As he adjusted himself, he looked towards the only remaining Vampire in the room, which was Arnold.

While Xavier had been dealing with the Vampire Lord, Arnold had managed to reattatch his leg and get into a proper fighting stance. But as Xavier approached him, he couldn’t help but wonder.

‘Although he had caught us by surprise with his ability… He still managed to beat the Vampire Lord… C-Can i really beat someone like him?’

Meanwhile Xavier was staring at the screen before him with a smile as he thought of how lucky he was.

As they soared through the Vampire Camp on top of the Sangrea’s Shadow bird. Xavier took the opportunity to organise his stats and [Spin.] the [Mysterious Wheel roulette.] for the sake of it.

He proceeded to feel his heart sink from surprise however, as the wheel landed on a feature he didn’t even know possible.

[Ding!]

[Congratulations! Wheel has landed on: Level up Orb!]

Right before Xavier and Sangrea’s eyes, a glowing orb manifested in the air before landing on Xavier’s arms.

[Would you like to consume the Level up Orb?]

[Y / N]

Xavier nodded his head as he muttered. “Yes…”

Confusion spread against Sangrea’s face as the orb slowly levitated out of Xavier’s arm before entering through his chest.

Xavier’s eyes shone a bright glow for a few seconds before a smile grew on his face.

“Xavi…? Is everything okay?” Sangrea asked with a worried look.

“Focus on flying… Everything’s just fine…” Muttered Xavier. “With this… I might just be able to beat them…”

Xavier was now just a few steps away from the trembling Arnold.

“Just a second.” Said Xavier as he glared at Arnold. “Devour.” He added.

Arnold felt his heart sink as streams of blood flowed out of the Vampire Lord’s body and into a sphere of blood over it.

A blood stream then ruptured out of the blood sphere over to Xavier’s mouth before filling it while he walked.

*Gulp* *Gulp*

Xavier was inundated with notifications every second as the blood of a Vampire Lord hit.

In spite of this, he paid no attention to any of it, and instead looked at Arnold, who was shaking in fear before his eyes.

He lowered his head, forcing his blue lilac hair to cover his eyes.

“I-I’m sorry… Please spare me…”

Xavier didn’t respond and instead stopped moving. Feeling hope, he slowly raised his head only to find Xavier looking down at him with a look of disgust and disappointment.

It was the type of look you’d make when finding out you’d stepped on shit on the side of the road. It sent shivers down Arnold’s spine.

“Spare you…?” Xavier asked as the image of his dead mother and sister popped back in his head once more.

“Did you… Really just say that?”
